I'm a fifty two year old man . I Love God with all my heart and above all things , and I delight in His Word and study it daily and meditate on it always . And over the years He has taught me to treat others truthfully and to be true to myself and be as honest as I can with as many as I can . This is how I chose many years ago and now choose to live my life . Truth , honor and grace is important to me above all things . I think anything less would grieve the One who created me . Probally why I'm not a rich man . At least not rich with money , but very rich in other ways , in ways that really matter . I was married when I was seventeen for eight years and have two daughters 34 years old and 32 . My second relationship lasted about twenty six years and for about twenty years of that she was the best thing that ever happened to me and was my best friend . But sometimes things just have a way of going sour . I havent figured it all out yet but if I do I'll write a book like Dr.Phil and be rich .  Seriously though the one thing I can say is that when the Word talks about being unequally yoked with unbelievers lets just say that the Word knows what its talking about . But I'm much older now and hopefully a little wiser and it is a mistake I'll not make again , with His grace . Anyway I am a boat propeller repairman for fifteen years now . Pays not the best in the world but I really love what I do . It appeals to my artistic side I suppose . I love to hunt and I have a passion for fishing and travel all around New Brunswick and New England . I am originaly from Massachusetts and like to go there 3 - 5 times a year . I have a special friend that I fish striped bass with down at the Cape Cod canal . He' about 75 years old and happens to have broken the worlds record and everytime I have an oppurtunity to get away and fish with him I do . I am a very spontaineous person that doesnt need a lot of planning to do something . Doesnt really say how much I'm supposed to write here so I'll leave it at that for now .
My Ideal Person:
A woman that loves to study the Word and loves it and God more that anything . 2Tm:2:15: Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. I think a woman who places her trust in the finished work of the cross and puts His word above all things will survive and ultimately triump over the things that destroy so many relationships today . Not to mention the final victory that lasts for all eternity which has been secured for us. 1Co:1:18: For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. Ive lived a lot of life and have seen many wonderful things and many sad and heartbreaking things too . The greatest thing I have ever seen though is the power of Gods grace in mine and some other peoples life . I think that its very important that you know that about me. If talk like that makes you nervous , Ill tell you up front that you wont like me . But if you arnt afraid to open your heart and talk about all things and laugh , cry and love with all of your heart you will like me very much . I can show you and teach you some things that will take your breath away . One thing I have found over the thirty years Ive been saved is that religion will suck the very life out of you . But the finished work of the cross is the very power of God and trusting in the one who attained the victory for us there and taking the penalty for our sin and in exchange giving us His righteousness will never cease to take my breath away and make me weep with thankfulness . How about you ? 2Co:5:21: For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. How great is that ? Religion says DO.... salvation says DONE . I guess what Im looking for in a woman is one who truly understands this prayer of Paul's - Eph:3:17: That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
Eph:3:18: May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
Eph:3:19: And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
I guess an important trait that I find in a woman is a certain confidence in her self . someone who doesnt cling constantly and knows how to give a man and herself some breathing space . One who trusts a man that is worthy of trust and who places great value on the trust that is given her . Wheather its concerning God or concerning a husband or a wife , if there isnt trust in your relationship then you havent got one .
UPDATE : Feb 20 2008 . This ole archangel isnt lookin anymore . He found the woman decribed above . Praise God !
