I like teaching, people, ministry, missions, reading, kids, swimming and cooking. Not a big TV sports fan but like live games.
I'm people-oriented in public...more-low key at home. I am Italian and curious about life. People say I am strong enough to handle a lot in life.
You could say I have a sense of humor.
My Ideal Person:
A mature, ministry-oriented person may be a good fit for me but you don't need to be perfect. Just comfortable with who you are, and even OK with your flaws. I have a soft spot for a man who has been through things that have really changed and humbled him... I've been there, too!!
Favorite television shows:
Star Trek, Law and Order
Favorite films:
Amazing Grace, The Mission, Finding Nemo, The Passionof
the Christ
Favorite musicians or bands:
Third Day, John Michael Talbot, Marcos Witt, Ron Canoli

Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
I never want to stop loving Jesus. I want to grow in that, in ways that create more fruit for Him in my life.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Psalms 139, 103, 34, 71!!... 84, 138, Hebrews 4:14-16, James 3:17-18, Zephaniah 3:17, 2 Peter 1:2-8.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
How could anything else be God's will for a believer? Thinking of times when I've been approached by men who had nice qualities and/or nice looks but weren't Christians.. well, honestly there's nothing to build on. They need Jesus. I told them that being with God's people and doing God's work is my life, but it's hard to explain this to someone who doesn't know Christ. It's not their lifestyle so they really can't picture it. Here's an example: I had a conversation with a non-Christian friend whose culture is very marriage and family-oriented. I told him I am interested in going to Argentina and working in a prison ministry there. His answer, "Say wh- whaaaat?" Need I say more? There's a huge communication and values gap, people! Don't date an unbeliever! Our thinking is upside down to them. They simply can't understand it.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
Grew up in rural New Hampshire. Been to Candada (Toronto... love that city!), Mexico, Eastern Europe, India, England, traveled across the US in my 20's. Toronto is one of my favorite places, also Niagra Falls, and some of the beautiful places God has blessed us with right here in New England. I am very interested in going to Brazil and spending more time in South America. Hope to travel to Central and or South America soon.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
At church-- just about everything. Not at church--camping, hiking, canoeing, running on the hard sand of the beach, singing, Tae Kwan Do, learning piano, writing.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Spend some time in prayer and reading Scripture before work (honestly morning is a busy time and I feel less rushed later in the day, so I tend to do more of it then, after work is over..), hop in the car, commute, teach some wonderful Latino adults who don't speak English to speak more of our language, work on the computer or in the office, commute home, do errands, feed and pamper the cat, (he's 18 years old and loves to be spoiled), talk to friends from church who are renovating the downstairs part of the house, go out for a run or to Tae Kwan Do class, go to prayer or worship practice or other events at church, or meet with friends.
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I'm pursuing volunteer hospital chaplaincy at this time and ministry of spending one to one time with people dealing with health problems and just asking questions of life. Doing some door to door evangelism with a team from Spanish and English speaking churches. Finished some theological studies in May 2007.desire to go on to pastoral ministry licensing or ordination through the Assemblies of God (have a history of involvement with this denomination) or another denomination.
