Please describe your faith. How important is your faith to you?
My faith and my Christianity is what defines me. This cannot be compromised in any way. I place God and Christianity at the top of my list of priorities.
Which Scripture verses are most important to you?
Jeremiah 29:11 -"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Proverbs 3:5-6
"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not to thine own understanding. In all ways acknowlege Him, and he shall direct thy paths."
Mark 11:24
"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have recieved it, and it will be yours."
These scriptures give me daily encouragement and they are my words to live by.
Why is a Christian relationship so important to you?
It is what God asks of us. There is NO such thing as a perfect relationship, but having Godly Christian values/morals are the foundation to having a good relationship/marriage. Both partners can seek God's direction for their relationship. Just like a house will not stand with the proper foundation laid down, a relationship will not survive without the proper foundation.
Where did you grow up? Where have you traveled? What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I grew up in Houston, Texas. I have been to Chicago, New York, Washington DC, Orlando, Florida, Louisiana, California, Philadelphia, and Dallas.
I have never been out of the country but I would love to travel to Hawaii, London, The Carribbean, Egypt, and Mexico.
What are your favorite activities both at Church and outside?
Church retreats and outings, singles gatherings, and praise and worship.
What is your day like? Describe your daily routine.
Mmmmmm this changes every day....as long as I get something to eat i'm fine... :o)
What are some of your personal and spiritual goals?
I want to grow closer to the Lord and an ultimate goal (when I get into a relationship), is for both of us to uplift and encourage each other and grow stronger and closer to the Lord.
