I am no longer looking for a mate, per se, on this site. Too many walking wounded, immaturity, agendas, scams, and just plain nuts! If it happens that I meet a great man, so be it, if not...no problem! I have a few good friends I've made here and I like to talk to them occasionally. Feel free to say hi, **IF** you are honest... with God, with yourself, with other people. Oh! and please have more to talk about than the weather or what you are having for dinner tonight! The food conversations in chat are probably responsible for my gaining weight!!! (Not anymore..Whoo hoo!!!)
I love Christians that have actually thought about their faith, especially in relation to the other faiths that exist in this world. I love the Bible, but I think it is often misused and misunderstood, so if you want to quote scripture at me for your own personal agenda, or in lieu of human relationship, well,...don't do it.
I believe that there are many mansions in His house, and many ways to Jesus, so expect me to be open to and listen to people of other faiths.
I believe that Scripture is the LIVING Word. Yes folks, His RHEMA. That means that I spend time with God to ask for HIS explanation and definition, not man's. So all Bible scholars, who believe that they know EXACTLY what God's Logos means, for every man and woman, and how each person should receive it..well that is your prerogative, but don't try to force it on me.
I believe our Father is a lot less interested in how legalistic,rule bound, and doctrine led we are , and a lot more interested that we seek relationship with Him, above all.
There is a lot more where that came from !
