I Wonder.. when Gods looks down from Heaven and sees His children does He smile?.. Is there a joy in His heart when He thinks of us?..

I Wonder.. when Gods looks at my life and sees the good and the bad, does He love me anyways?.. Does He say He is proud of me?..

I Wonder.. when God sees me struggle, does He want to encourage me?.. Does He want to cheer me on?..

I Wonder.. when God See's my pain and hurts, Does He cry with me?.. Does He want to comfort me?..

Its wasn't until I had my own children that I could even try to understand the love that God has for me.. I remember holding my first child in my arms and his big brown eyes just staring back at me as if saying "I trust you for everything daddy, to feed me, clothe me, protect me.."

I remember thinking how much I love this little guy, and that I loved him so much that I would give my very on life for him..

That baby boy is a young man now and depends on me very little, yet when I look at him or his younger brother I smile, and when I think of them there is a joy in my heart for how much I love them..

When they do wrong I still love them and am proud of who they are..

When they struggle with life I do my best to encourage them and cheer them on..

When they hurt and are in pain I cry with them, and want to protect them!...

Matthew 6:25-34
"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. There's been a slew of new pretty young ladies winking at me lately... and it makes me think that there must be something very appealing about me for these beautiful 29 years old to want me!.. lol

I get such a kick when they email me and say that they want to settle down and have a family with me..lol don't they know that thats the quickest way to make a middle age man to flee from them?... lol

..but then again maybe they just can't resist the pony tail!... lol

I see all the time on here where people say their not dating!.. I have to wonder if it is only because they haven't found the right one that they'd like to date.. and they just don't want to be bothered with anyone else!.. Just a thought!..

But as for me, I date, yet I haven't been on one in over a year.. lol, so I guess you could say I don't date either.. lol ..but I would!.. lol.. please!.. lol.. please!.. will someone date me!.. lol

Ok! that was fun!.. lol but seriously I would date, but I would not want to be in a serious relationship, and that is probably the biggest reason why I don't get dates..

I think most Christian woman my age want serious, and its not that someday I wouldn't want to be serious, because I think I do.. I just think that right now I'm still a little emotionally stuck from my divorce..

..I don't think it is that I can't trust another women(although it may be a bit), but I think it is mostly because of how I see myself, and the faults that I believe I have..

I guess I think that in order for me to have a serious relationship(or that someone would want to have one with me) is that I need to make changes in my life...

.. like lose weight, get out of debt, be better at personal devotions(a better Christian), save money, be more organized, etc.. etc.. etc... I guess its kinda like when we think we have to clean ourself up before we can go before God, but the truth is the only way to get cleaned up is to just go before God..

So with that thought, maybe it would take someone in my life and yours, for us to be the person that we want to become!.. just a thought!..

OK!.. If some of you have been reading some of my latest post you know that My Bible got ruined on my vacation.. anyways as a gift my sister gave me the money to buy me a new one..

..its been over a month now and I haven't bought the new Bible yet!.. So I think its time for me to get a new Bible before my sister starts to think I spent her money on something foolish (not that I have ever done that before.. lol)

Well I was thinking with all the hype Sweethoney has been doing about the different versions of the Bible (for the sake of my soul.. lol) I should maybe give some careful thought about which one I should buy!..

Now my old Bible was a NIV study Bible, and it was OK, but print was small and as I am getting older I find the larger print easier for me!.. lol .. so there a few things about my new Bible that I want:

1. LARGE PRINT
2. Indents to help me find the smaller books!
3. Red letter would be nice
4. A study guide.

.. But I'm up in the air about what version, most people in our church read out of the NIV, some the KJV and others the NLT.. in the past I have never really thought much about the different versions, I just thought that newer versions would be a little more accurate because of man being able to collect more knowledge, and understanding...

But I do feel led to give a more serious thought to what version I should get, so I'm asking all of you what do you guys think!.. plus have a little fun here..
1. KJV (The Bible Jesus wrote)
2. NKJV (The new and improved Bible)
3. NIV (Corupt, but understandable)
4. NLT (Because I like the way it sounds)
5. Listen to Sweethoney.. she seems to know all on what version is the real one!..
6. Rod do you even know how to read?..
7. Maybe you should just get the Bible on tape!..
8. None.. Just listen to the Force Luke.. I mean Rod!...
9. So Rod do you want to go on a date with me?.. (ladies only please) sorry I had to do the cheep try to get a date trick!.. lol

OK here's what it was... I come home from work just trying to relax and this thing just keeps bothering me.. so I try to lay down and maybe take a nap to see if it would stop!...

As I'm trying to nap this thing continues to keep bothering me!.. by now I'm getting disgusted with myself for allowing myself to get so work up over it.. so I turn on the laptop and begin to log on to BC read some comments, and a few post... then there it is again, I can't consecrate on nothing else but this thing..

So I shut down the laptop, because it was just too hard for me to focus on reading, and commenting. Then I decided to turn the tv on maybe a good movie or something could help me to focus on something rather them this thing.. but it wasn't long before it started all over again with this thing bothering me!..

..well it was beginning to get late so I was thinking I'll just go to bed for the night and hopefully it won't bother me anymore.. but I wanted to get the kitchen cleaned up before I went to bed, so as I was putting dishes in the dishwasher here it is again.. well I'd like to think I'm a man not easily angered, yet I find myself close to losing it here now.. I'm tired of dealing with this thing and its time for this to END!..

When I was on vacation my Bible was in the back of the van and some how it had gotten on the floor and something got spilled on it.. needless to say it had got ruined.. so when I had got home rather than right away going to buy me a new Bible I decided to use one of my other Bibles.. Its a Serendipity Bible it was given to me by my wife many years ago for my birthday.. and in it she had wrote a note saying "Love forever"..

This August marks 2 years sense the divorce.. and things seem to be better, yet there is still that hurt, and lose that stings my heart even today.. When I read in that Bible the words "love forever" it reminded me of that hurt... Some say the best way to get on with your life is to forget that past, or to just remember the good things that you had together.. But our human mind doesn't forget the past, and as for remembering only the good things.. what good is it to remember them if there is no one to share the memories with!..

When I think of those words "Love forever" I think "could I really ever expect someone to love me forever, or even if I could trust enough to love someone forever!.." we have witnessed even here in BC of few that have met and with a good heart thought that it was right, and in just a little while find themselves back here with even more hurts and scars.. I have to be honest and say this scares me.. I'm not judging anyone here or anyone else for that matter. If anything I understand why this happens, and my heart goes out to those who are suffering through the pain of a broken relationship, or divorce once again..

So with all these thoughts in my head of a divorce, a love that did not last, a family forever broking, a marriage that didn't weather through the hard times, I look into my old Bible and see the words "Love forever" I am reminded that if I continue to turn those pages I'll read what true love really is. The love of a merciful loving God, a love that does last forever, a love that doesn't depend on me, or what I do, but a love that depends on Him, and who He is..

A "Love forever" that I know I can trust.........

Now I know you all know what I'm talking about here!.. lol when ever you log on to BC their always there.. making a new post, a comment, their always there.. now why is that?... lol
1. Their not real, their just a made up BC computer program to entertain us Americans!...
2. Aussie women don't need sleep.. because its allways day time in OZ..
3. They have too much spunk to sleep!..
4. Because their trying to stay one step ahead of the local Blok's..
5. They sleep every 2 hours so that it just looks like they don't sleep!
6. They sleep!.. its just hard to tell when they are or aren't!...
7. Half their body sleeps while the other half doden't.. that way they can be on the go 24/7...

I read today that this person would not date someone that picks their nose.. lol

..so I was wondering who is a nose picker and who's not!.. lol
1. NO!!!.. its a disgusting habit that I chose not to pick........
2. YES!!!.. everyone has to pick their nose at one time or another..
