LOL... I was reminiscing with a customer today about the "seasons" in our life.. we both agreed that doing the teen years over again would be a bad thing.. lol but our 20's were good.. I had a lot of fun in my 20's... My 30's and 40's not so good.. sure their were some very good parts of my life then, but in general they were very hard...
So I'm going to be turning the BIG 50 this fall.. and to be honest with you I am really looking forward to my 50's... I am at a really good point in my life right now.. God has been so very good to me.. much more then I ever deserve.. His grace is overwhelming everyday...
God is directing me and challenging me to go further with Him and to take chances with serving Him(getting out of MY box).. There are going to be some really great and drastic changes coming up for me this next year and I am so excited about what God has for my future...

Not sure why people in here think they need to create a fake profile, maybe it's so they'll have someone on "their side".. the shame about this person is that I was beginning to like and respect them.. now I feel that there is no integrity with person now... No I'm not going expose this person openly.. I'm just going to be careful and watch what their "real" agenda is..

It Seems to me that no one really know how to enjoy a really good pizza these days.. lol I work with the youth in my church and there is always pizza.. I do understand why we have always have pizza, it's easy, fast and kids never seem to get tired of it.. lol
BUT GIVE ME A PIZZA WITH EVERYTHING ON IT!.. lol I'm getting tired of just cheese and peperoni pizza's.. lol
...so what kind of pizza do you like?
1. Cheese only please...
2. Traditional cheese peperoni
3. Thick thick thick crust...
4. Thin and round.. (lol that only works with pizza!.. lol)
5. I want everything.. well except for them nasty little fishy anchovies..
6. Who cares just feed me will ya.. lol

All this fighting, arguing and discord is good for the BC blogs...

It has always bothered me to see all the strife that goes on here in the blogs.. especially with this place having the label of being a "Christian" website...
The fighting seems to just chase people away and cause others to just stay away.. and I've never see any lives changed for the good of the Kingdom.. There's no conversions, nobody ever says YES!.. YOU'RE RIGHT I SEE THE LIGHT NOW!.." ..lol ...The disagreeing just goes on and on.. I wonder if this really is the way God would want His people to be treating each other.. of course not!
..anyways I was sharing all this with a close friend of mine who I respect very much... He says to me that this has been his same experience in other Christian blogs..
And that he believed that God places these people here in the blogs to cause discord on purpose... lol I said WHAT!... lol He goes on to explain to me that God wants His people to be in the Church not in the Internet.. So God places people in the blogs to cause His people to just sick of it of the discord and that people would be moved to want to return to the Church..
I know that many here have been driven from the Church from some kind of disappointment for what ever reason... But that hasn't been my experience with the Church.. I'm not going to tell you that the Church I belong to is perfect, because its not.. But What family is perfect?.. And isn't that what the Church is suppose to be?.. A FAMILY....
In the past I have always fought against the discord that goes on around here in the blogs.. Well I'm not going to anymore... lol ..no I'm not going to encourage or be a part of the discord.. but when I see it happening I'm going to think back at what my friend said and just Praise the Lord for loving his people to drive back to Him and His Church...

Next month it will be 4 years that my 19 year marriage was over.. Even though the last few years in the marriage wasn't good it was still heart breaking for me to know that that my marriage did fail and that it was to never be restored..
I'm sure that I wasn't any different then a lot of you were after my divorce.. all the feelings we go through.... insecurity, depression, fear of what the future was going to be like.. would/could anybody love me again? would I even allow my heart to open up to love again?...
Sure I had my family, friends, and church that stood by me through out the process of my struggling marriage and divorce.. and of course I had my faith.. Yet there was still a pain, a hurt, a lack of self confidence in myself that seemed to be too much of a hurdle for me to get through..
I had heard some friends talk about this Christian dating website called BigChurch, so I joined and interacted with some people and it was fun, but then I checked this thing out call the Blogs.. It was all new to me i really wasn't even sure how it all worked.. but slowly I started to figure it out..
What I found in the blogs was place for me to go where I could be among others who hurt and had some of the same feeling I was experiencing.. There was great comfort in this for me.. I found friends all over the country and even the world that would encourage me, laugh with me, and yes even at times cry with me..
I wonder if that same experience I had can be found in the blogs today?.. Can someone who is hurting find some comfort here in the blogs?.. or are they going to find so much decisiveness that they will feel that they need to chose a side to be on, and not be able to be real and who they are?...
My last post was very decisive,and for the most part it was good discussion, but still there was name calling and misrepresentation of others views from all sides..
I know that I will strike a cord with a few of you by saying this.. but what about unity within the believers?.. or everyone being in one accord.. Isn't this what Jesus wanted for His followers?..
I know some of you are going to say.."They don't know the truth of Jesus so we can't be in one accord with them".. My answer to that is... If you really believe that then wouldn't it be Your responsibility to guide them to the truth of Christ?.. and I think that Christ gave us the perfect example on how to influence people into following Him.. HE LOVED.......
I believe that the best way to get most people to open there ears to hear is to show love and compassion towards them.. Don't take me wrong now... I'm not saying that anyone should compromise on what their understanding of the truth is.. I'm just saying that if we are so convinced/convected of what we believe is right, is beating up on someone else's faith/beliefs going to get them to see things your way?...
Maybe I just live in a dream world, but why can't we as believer in the one true and only God discuss and share our opinions without fighting?.. SORRY but if your answer here is no I have to wonder if your efforts are working towards building the kingdom of God, or are they helping to destroy it?...
My heart plea to all who read these words... PLEASE MAKE BC A PLACE WHERE THE HURTING CAN BE MINISTERED TO AND FEEL SAFE AND COMFORTED..
