Matthew 11:30 - For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.".....
John 8:12 - When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.".......
Has someone ever told you this "you need to do it for yourself"?... I was thinking today about some of the things, and the people in my life that have motivated me to make changes in my life.. Sure there is some truth to being self motivated, but hasn't there always been someone in our life, or something to make us motivated?..
....a mother making her kids do their homework to get good grades in school... a father pitching the ball to his son to make him a better ball player... A boss making his employees take training classes to make them do better at their jobs... a pastor motivating his congregation to be more Christlike... a friend/accountability partner asking the hard questions to help keep your thought life pure... maybe someone we're attracted to makes us want to lose weight or get a haircut.. lol well maybe not the haircut.. lol...
I guess we do need to be careful and not just be dependent on others to motivate us, but we do need to have people in our life that helps us to be motivated is a good thing to have... So maybe what we need to do, is ask the the Lord to send the people in our life to help motivate us to do the things we need to do for ourselves?..
I know that many of you are going to be shocked to here this, because it shocked me... I have intercepted an email from a very popular Blogger here on BC... This Blogger is wanting to change...........

Dear Emotions Committee,
I have a proposition that could rid you of the Yellard hater Yendor forever, but like everything else in the world there is price. now you know I have always been a big supporter of you little adorable Smiling yellow circles. It just kills me to see haw Mr Yendor treats these special little momentous emotions.
I have convinced most of the Bloggers that Mr Yendor is really Yellard lover, even him being one himself. Now we all now how much he despises these Smiley's, so with what I have planned next I'm sure will chase him away and to never say or do another bad think to these beautiful precious Smiley's
Now I'm sure you want to now what I want for doing this. Well its simple, you see my most favorite color in the world is RED, and all I want is for you to change the colors of all the Smiley's from yellow to RED..
I would hope that the Emotions Committee would take my proposal seriously. You see I know that Mr Yendor is partial to redheads, and well I'm a redhead, and a rather pretty one at that. So with a few swooshes of my beautiful red hair, the batting of my long eyelashes, a few compliments of Mr Yendors curly ponytail, and I'll get this man to walk on water for me. So do what I ask or I'll join forces with Mr Yendor, and that will be the end of the whole Yellow Emotions Empire as we now it. You don't want to make a redhead mad!
Yours truly, ReadingandRoses aka Red aka Red Hot Redhead
You see what I'm saying now don't you?... This beautiful redhead thinks she can manipulate me with her beauty (well she probably can, but that's beside the point!)... Now It is clear to me why she has been causing me so much trouble with these nasty Yellards... and its NOT because she loves them as she claims she does... its because she wants them to all be RED like her...
Help put a stop to Red's manipulative beauty and most of all lets get rid of this nasty Yellard Smiley's forever!
Ok I think I have perfected my little Guess Who game.. No one will be able to see you answers, but you and me.. that way everyone will get a turn to guess.. and I'll try and make it a bit more challenging this time.. lol
So lets see if you guess these Bloggers..
Her Love for the Lord and her children are her passion, on her bike shes always in fashion...
OK who is it?...
He's a nut, maybe even a fruit... he'll crack you up, and not be afraid to show his "kinder gentle side"
OK who is it?...
On top or not.. he's everyones friend...
OK who is it?...
Her name shines, and from her our Lord's love flows
OK who is it?...
Rudy and wise, the wisdom of God is scrutable with her...
OK who is it?...
Thats all for now.. lets see how well you know each other this time... lol
These Yellards serve NO PURPOSE what so ever... lol they give off false emotions that just confuse people and have no purpose in being here all.. lol I say get rid of em all... lol
.. beside they don't wear any underwear!... lol now we can't have that going on in the blogs now can we?... lol
John 17:20-26 "My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
"Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.
"Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them."
This is the prayer of our Lord for us, His believers. What more can I add.. accept... "Lord help me to be as you have prayed!"... AMEN
Opening ones heart again to someone can be very scary for us.. Face it we all have been hurt, and we don't want to ever feel that hurt again.. So at times we may think it sure would be easier to just shut our heart down and not allow ourself to have feelings for someone so that we can protect ourself from rejection..
Rejection is probably the biggest fear in starting a relationship, but can we allow this fear to drive us away from starting any new relationship.. The truth is rejection is very possible in any dating relationship.. Sure someone may like us and even begin to show signs of wanting to move towards a closer relationship, but then change their mind..
Now we have a choice at this time... Are we going allow this experience to make us bitter or better?.. We can learn something from everyone that we come in contact with.. and even more so when a relationship fails.. A failed relationship can make us look inside ourselves and maybe see through their eyes some things in us that might need to be changed.. or even see in them the things that we wouldn't want from someone, and help us in knowing what we're really looking for.. so you see it can be both a positive and negative learning experience, both ways we have learned something that will help us in being a better person..
So "Is it really better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at ALL?...." I say YES!.. because if we don't step out and take that chance we could be missing out on the best thing God has for our life.. a true helpmate..
Have you ever really seek the will of God for something in your life, but He was silent in giving you an answer?...
This past weekend I was seeking direction from God in making what I believed to be an important decision in accelerating some the goals I've set in my life.. I would pray, and NOTHING!.. God was silent.. Why wouldn't God answer me?.. give me sign?.. tell me what to do?...
Then I remembered a bible study that I once did on knowing the Will of God... God has made it very clear His Will for our lives without 'speaking' to us directly.. and that is through His Word... I believe God has taught me that I need to know His Will that He has already set before me in His Word...
...And when I remembered this I didn't have to ask what God wanted me to do, because I knew it!.. I knew what Gods expectations were, and what what decision I needed to make because He had already told me through His Word...
I know that there are things in life that aren't as easy to find Gods Will for and we do need to get a conformation from His Spirit on what direction we may need to take.. But I think sometimes I make things a lot more complicated than they need be, when God has already given His Word on how He wants to lead my life..
I guess it is coming back to basics of my salvation and when I am obedient in doing His Will in my life, then He will be faithful to me in 'knowing' His Will in leading me in the places that wants me to be!..
