My Father is having open heart surgery today.. please keep him and my family in your prayers.. My Mother is still having severe back pain and is in need of surgery herself.. so this time is very hard on her also...

It's School time again and my boys are back home with me!... my oldest son never did go and live with his mom this summer but the youngest boy did go, but it seemed like he spent as much time with me as he did his mom for the summer!... but he's back now for the school year, so that means fix lunches, homework, parent teacher conferences, school concerts, and lots and lots of laundry.. lol

..it is a lot of work on me to have my boys with me.. but I love them so much that it is worth every bit of the work... I read dawntime's post today "[post 43169]" and it reminded me of how much our heavenly Father loves us.. much more than what I can love.. what an awesome thought!..

Things are going well with the kids in the discipleship class at church.. God has been showing ME a lot of great stuff...

I'm 46 years old, and of these 46 years I found that last year and a half was the worst of my whole life.. Being a Christian help me with the strength I needed to go on, but still I would have rather left this world than to see a another day of the pain I was going through..

.. and then God gave me you guy's, my BC family, and then life was getting a little easier for me to bear... I seemed to be drawn to this strange and crazy world we call the BC blogland.. it seemed to be a place that I was excepted for who I was and for what I had been through!... YOU GUY'S ARE WHAT I NEEDED AT THE RIGHT TIME IN MY LIFE!...

Just like siblings in a family we all have different personalities and beliefs.. I could never understand how my sisters and brother could not see things the same way I do.. because we were brought up in the same home, had the same parents, same brother sisters.. How can they be so blind to not see the same as me.. lol

I was with two of my sisters and brother last night, and even some of the very same experiences we had shared together we don't agree on what happened.. lol but we do know who are parents are, where we lived, and that we truly do love each other no matter what!...

.. so I guess its the same here in BC we don't see things the same, and would think that 'OUR' version of the truth is the 'RIGHT' one.. but do we not all agree that God is our Father?.. He sent His Son to be sacrificed so that we could have eternal life.. Jesus was born of the virgin Mary, He died on the cross and three days later Jesus rose from the dead, was seen by his followers and others, ascended into heaven and is at the right side of the Father as a mediator between us and the Father.. and His Holy Spirit dwells in the hearts of those who believe in Him.. and only through Him Jesus is our salvation...

.. I guess what I'm saying if we can agree on this.. why do we fight because some speaks in tongues or not.. pre-rapture or post-rapture.. KJV or NIV.. what Paul may have meant here or there.. I think that it is good for us to have good healthy DISCUSSION over our different doctrines, but the hurting needs to STOP..

.. we all know that there are fake bloggers here.. and why they hide themselves I don't know.. I would ask that they stop NOW, and be real.. that is the only way we will influence anyone, that is by being ourself and being real to who we are.. we shouldn't be quick to judge, yet we do need to be discerning to what the truth is..

.. so we all need to Lighten Up a bit and enjoy each other like brothers and sister are suppose to do!...

I love you guy's and am so thankfull for the help and love I have recieved from so many of you..

Hello everyone.. just an update on the discipleship ministry... we had an overnight retreat Tuesday and Wednesday... I think 25 kids were invited to it.. 16 kids showed at the start.. the kids were given the challenge and one kid backed out and didn't except the challenge...

The kids were dropped off at the church Tuesday afternoon not being told what they were there for, or even that it was an overnight'er (their parents were informed though).. Tuesday afternoon and evening the kids were continued to be challenged they were blind folded and taken to different places in the community... neighborhood walking a cross through the streets, different parks, graveyard, campfire...

Wednesday morning they got up and had Communion and prayer time with churches staff.. I made them all pancakes for breakfast while they were doing this.. when breakfast was over we took the kids to a local High School and stood at the 50 yard-line of the football field.. with the last challenge they were asked to cross the line and stand up for your team.. Gods Team...

.. this was an emotional time for me.. I shared with the teens that this very High School here was my school it was where I went to school when I was their age.. I walked this field.. I sat in the classes here.. I walked the halls.. and that stand before them a hypocrite.. because I am asking them to do what I didn't do.. and that is to serve God in there school.. to stand out and live for Jesus, to share Jesus with their school and friends..

Thanks everyone for your prayers, emails and words of encouragement, I do miss blogging with everyone and goofing off.. I'm sure I'll find time to still do a little bit it..

..I haven’t been around the blogs in last few days.. and one thing I’ve learned is that I CAN’T stay away… so I figured if I sold my blog then I would have to stay away.. lol

..September starts off all the ministries at my church.. I have been involved with the youth ministry of my church for a number of years.. but I’m going to do something a little different this year.. I am going to be involved with a mentoring class of teens.. this is going to be a big commitment on my part.. I am looking forward to this challenge, I believe that it is time for me to get back into ministries with a 100% of what God as given me..

..I do enjoy blogging with all my BC friends, but its easy to wrapped up in the things that happen in BC blog-land and kinda forget or let slack some of the real things in life that are important.. I do know that I want to continue blogging… I just need to find the right balance between the BC blog-land and the everyday world… so I guess that means you’ll start seeing a little less of me around here.. I guess with there being a female Yendor around here I can give some of the goofiness over to her.. lol
