.. yes someone took over my profile and upgraded me to a silver member, when I logged on this evening I found that I now have a silver ball...
Who in their right mind would do such a thing?.. what is it going to be next?.. a check in the mail?... Omaha Steaks?... Publisher Clearinghouse knocking at my door?...
What in the world is going on here in these blogs?.. people caring, giving and encouraging one another!... I don't know if I can handle all this?... I guess I'll just have continue being a thorn in your sides... lol but only with a ball NOW!.. lol

3935 Views |  | I hear so much here about finding the 'right one', its like we have this dream person made up in our head.. and who the heck can live up to a dream?.. I know I can't..
I know that there are some of you that disagree with me, and thats ok!.. I just think that there are so many that think the way things are to be.. and when real life hits 'em they want out.. it being a friendship, marriage, church, family, life...
I guess you can call it 'unrealistic expectations' I think we all do it.. we may read what someone says, or see their picture and believe that they are a certain way.. but when you meet them their nothing at all like you thought!..
I myself have faults, like many of you do.. so why would I expect different from anyone else?..
Why am I ranting here?.. well you see I read this poem the other day where the writer was saying how men will aways disappoint her!... then again I read where a lady was looking for 'Mr Right' and all of the qualities that he needed to have!.
Well my thoughts here are to the woman that I may choose to marry one day:
YES I WILL DISAPPOINT YOU, AND I WILL PROBABLY NEVER LIVE UP TO THE EXPECTATIONS THAT YOU HAVE FOR HUSBAND.. BUT WHAT I WILL PROMISE YOU IS THIS.. I WILL DO MY BEST TO BUILD YOU UP TO BE THE BEST WOMAN YOU CAN BE!.. AND I PRAY THAT YOU WILL HELP ME BE THE BEST MAN I CAN BE ALSO!...
So I'm not looking for the 'happily ever after', what I want is the one that will ride the up and downs of life with me!.. no matter how dim or bright that may be!.... |

3703 Views | From my last post Is the past really the past?... I asked about weather we should tell someone we're dating, with them possibly being our future spouse about our PAST.. I have been convinced by the comments on that post that we do need to be upfront and open about our PAST with someone if we are thinking about having a relationship with them..
So I guess that is why I'm making this post.. You see I want to be open with everyone here on BC about my PAST.. who knows the future Mrs Yendor may read this and I would want her and my good friends here at BC to know about my deep secrete PAST..
I would like that if some here is thinking about me as possible spouse that they know of my PAST, and if they wanted to go forward with me in a relationship knowing that I DO have a PAST!.. If someone really loves me they should love me even if I have a PAST.. right?..
My PAST is something that I'm not proud of, but it is what it is!.. you could say it's a bit of a tasty PAST.. I'm sure that some of you can understand and relate to my PAST.. but there are those of you that may be so disgusted by my PAST that you will never visit my blog again!.. to you I pray that one day you will understand and know that I am just a fallen man that needs the grace and mercy of a loving God...... YOU SEE MY PAST IS.........

If the past is the the past, and we have been forgiven by the shed blood of Jesus Christ should share our past with a possible mate or even close friends?...
..would it be deceiving if that is really NOT who we are anymore?... I think it is wise for US to look at our past, and know our weaknesses, so that we may not fall.. but do we need to tell others?..
.. I'm not saying we lie, but do we need to tell how many people we may slept with, and who?.. maybe just say I was promiscuous before I was saved.. or if you had done drugs, should you go into details like kinds, or how long, and how bad it was?.. maybe say I experimented with drugs before I was saved, and it took me down a, path that I'm glad the Lord rescued me from?..
.. maybe I'm wrong and we do need to share the intimate detail of our past with a future spouse even if we are forgiven!..
..please tell what you think!... |

I finally saved up enough points to get a free month from BC.. but now they say in order for me to redeem my free month I have to confirm my ID.. whats up with that?...
..so have any of you done it?.. and is it safe?.. i.e. do you get spammed with email, and junk mail sent to your home...
..not sure why they would need me to do this, they do have my credit card on file from when I was a paying member!.. How do the scammer get away with it?.. make wonder doesn't it?.. | |
