I haven't seen this here, yet. Not sure if it is allowed. I've noticed some here mention their musical talents. I thought there should be at least one spot where people here can list their musical activities.
1) Your own appearance event
2) An event that you are connected with such as your church or org.
3) An event or artist in your area that you feel is very worthwhile and that others might be interested in. This could be an unknown artist or well known.
4) Updates or information on your own efforts on the net or in recording your songs or singing vocation or avocation.
While search engines can list these, especially for the majors, many people would not even know to search for the lesser knowns.
These could also be good opportunities to meet someone that you have come to know here as well, although since everyone is spread out that could be rare....but hey....it could happen.

o, I have seen...many sorrows....many tragedies
I have seen .... life take~on ... it's tolls...
I have seen .... many riches .... as they've gone to ruin...
'n' dreams afire .... as they faded ... into coals...
and I have seen ... the angst ... of the homeless ones
as they've .... struggled .... across ... our lands
But I've never ... seen the ground .... from upon a cross...
and I don't~see .... where nails ... scarred my hands...
No, I've never ... seen a crown ... of thorns ... on my head...
I've never ... worn the shame ... of a cross....
I've never ... seen the God ... that would send me alone...
for no other .... than to die .... for the lost....
No, I've never .... known the pain .... of a spear .. in my side...
I've never ... spilled my blood ... in the sands....
No, I've never .. seen the ground ... from upon a cross...
and I don't ... see~where nails ... scarred my hands....
o, I've seen ... how the world ... turns its head away...
from the few .. who'll praise God ... for His Son...
and I've seen those of faith belie His truth..
as they leave...His true worth...still undone...
I have seen many good men take a wrongful turn...
with no thought...to ever~make... their amends...
But they've never seen the ground from upon a cross...
and I don't see where nails scarred their hands...

Beyond the days....of this earthly home...
there lies a place....like we've never known...
and we have a hope....in these days we share...
a Hope that Lives...and can take us there
Beyond the grave...past our edge of time..
we will never see...those of yours or mine...
who have failed to see ....or have failed to find...
the Hand that guides...and will forever shine....
for He will light our way....when our days's too dim
He will light our way....when we look to Him...
He will hold our hand...when our day is done...
He will take us there....far beyond the sun...
you know good people...
i can't say that I know that everything that I think....or believe...or even say...is the truth
as God would have us know it.
Neither can I say that there has ever been a single man in the history of the universe
besides Jesus Himself
that can make that claim...!!!
But I know God made man for a reason.....
and that reason is to be with HIM....
forever....!
I will go so far as to say that Heaven will be so much more than we can imagine and
that we have been shielded from knowing just how magnificent it will be.
Let's don't miss it....

There are stars up there in the night sky. Some of those bits of light are even billions of stars rolled up into
a tiny speck. And yet, there are more than we can ever see beyond those.........stars in the great unknown.
God doesn't do idle things.
They are there for a reason. And eternity is a long time.
Imagine something as small as our moon....billions upon kazillions of tons of something....
hanging on nothing...
I can't do that....not on my best day can I do that.
I want to know this God who can do that.
Even if it is all to be wiped away....I want to know the God that can do that.
I want to see what is beyond the stars that we can't see.
I want to hear the music from the farthermost parts of eternity.
I want to see the sights beyond the blindness of my eyes.
I want to smell the purities that I have never known.
I want to vibrate with echoes of Heaven.
I want to be able to speak and understand the language
of something hanging on nothing.
I want to be there.
I want it all....
and I want it all with you as well.
I want to drift around Heaven all day...
and He will light our way....when our days's too dim

All too frequently I see the misuse of the terms 'science' and 'scientists' and this happens in the religious realm, the news realm, the 'elite's, and everywhere really.
I haven't seen it here, but then I haven't read but a double smidgen of the posts here. And while I am doing a disclaimer of sorts let me say that I am no expert on anything, just in case you haven't seen me say that before.
To illustrate what I mean let me use math 1st and then extend that to science. In our world we agree that 2 + 2 = 4. We could also agree that it is true here, on mars, in the future and in the past. Essentially math proves itself and thus becomes a truth and it is my conviction that that is because God created it.
And further, that He used it and had to use it to create. I could go further and say that he pointed the way to a perfected truth by giving us 10 fingers. There existed other systems besides the decimal system such as the Roman Numerals. They functioned very primitively but the world we know today would not exist if we had to use it.
But math doesn't concern the religious realm as does science. For some 'science' is labeled as a contradictory force to religion and thus God, or at least His existence.
The scientific process is taught in our schools and, from most that I have seen, is pretty accurate. Simplistically speaking, the scientist observes a phenomena, theorizes about it, sets up a test, takes data, and then forms conclusions from that data. He then makes repeats and publishes findings. Other scientists can then test his theory and conclusions. This is how science proves itself and as long as none of these steps are abused you actually have something useful.
However.....
Science, like so many areas, now has branches and sub branches and so on. Remember, when you could go to a doctor way back when and that would be it. Nowdays, you go to one and he sends you to six others, and sometimes they disagree.
The point of this post is that the 'science' labels have been tacked on to many things where they don't truly apply. There is nothing wrong with a theory, because it simply means an 'idea' or postulation. But the word theory doesn't need to be confused with 'fact'. The scientist' use of theorizing is simply part of the process. It's the conclusions and the verifying of those conclusions that make it fact and even that is subject to revision.
In my decades of observations on life I have noticed the ever increasing manipulations of the people by gradual shifts in words and word meanings and this is one: the labeling of thoughts and ideas and theories as fact by the way the word 'science' is used.
Like I said of math, God is the creator of science and He had to use it to create. He just didn't have to theorize. True science, where the truth is actually being sought, will take us back to God. True science is not the enemy of the religious world as some religious speakers (and others) would have us believe. Ultimately it will be our ally.
The field of all the ways true science confirms God is one of the most fascinating trails to go down now days. But, you won't find those things out while mainstream media is more concerned with what side of bed Brittany got up on.
