I am new to this site.. hello believers out there. Love to write, and hey, someone needs to break the ice here in my location. I've been sometimes torn lately trying to personally and deeply comprehend something. Is our father in heaven truly the strictest father we could imagine, as the bible portrays, allowing suffering and sacrifice, as with Jesus, as with Job, or the most supremely positive father ministers of our time tell us, wanting only happiness for us in this life, or both? A modern day minister known as a positive thinker says our God does not want us to suffer, end of story. Yet I have a pattern of suffering in my own life, sometimes due to illness, which has brought me so very close to Him. I have pretty much concluded that God is both strict, allowing suffering, yet He also is positive, wanting only the best for us, and readily willing to protect us from harm's way and evil as true Christians.Any thoughts, statements of derision or concern, ha, be gentle... testimonies?
