"Safe Harbor" - it is a nautical term by the way and I just happen to be an ex-Navy girl - "is a place to come to when you've been damaged or beaten by the storms of life - it's a place of rest, refuge, and restoration - for a time - to receive healing or repair damages, and rest - in the Father's arms - no camping out here indefinitely - it will soon be time to get back out there and be about the Father's business. Yes, you can minister broken but how much more and better can you serve if you are restored and whole?"

Have you taken the time to smell a flower today or touch a baby's face or listened to a cat purr - when was the last time you watched the sun set or looked at the stars - have you noticed the changing of the colors of the leaves - or eaten a tomatoe fresh from the garden or heard (and really listened) to a special person say "I love you" - whether it be a sweetheart or your child or your best friend - when was the last time you were still enough to hear God speak to you - what about the aroma of fresh bread or chocolate chip cookies baking - or a frangrant bubble bath - or ... well ... you get the idea.

Great moments like these are worthy to praise God for - for He is worthy of all praise and glory and honor.
