Ready or not, some day it will all come to an end.
There will be no more sunrises, no minutes, hours or days.
All the things you collected, whether treasured or forgotten, will pass to someone else.
Your wealth, fame and temporal power will shrivel to irrelevance.
It will not matter what you owned or what you were owed.
Your grudges, resentments, frustrations and jealousies will finally disappear.
So too, your hopes, ambitions, plans and to-do lists will expire.
The wins and losses that once seemed so important will fade away.
It won’t matter where you came from or what side of the tracks you lived on at the end.
It won’t matter whether you were beautiful or brilliant.
Even your gender and skin color will be irrelevant.
So what will matter? How will the value of your days be measured?
What will matter is not what you bought but what you built,
not what you got but what you gave.
What will matter is not your success but your significance.
What will matter is not what you learned but what you taught.
What will matter is every act of integrity, compassion, courage or sacrifice that enriched,
empowered or encouraged others to emulate your example.
What will matter is not your competence but your character.
What will matter is not how many people you knew,
but how many will feel a lasting loss when you’re gone.
What will matter is not your memories but the memories of those who loved you.
What will matter is how long you will be remembered, by whom and for what.
Living a life that matters doesn’t happen by accident.
It’s not a matter of circumstance but of choice.

While shopping at a local Wal-Mart, a woman spotted a man with an Acronym on his shirt that read BAD. Being the person that she was (curious),

She stopped the man and asked, "What does BAD . stand for?" (and trust me, you'll be amazed at what his response was.)

He replied BAD stands for: " Blessed And Delivered".

That thought stuck with her as she finished doing her shopping that day.

So she came up with a little advice for today:

1. When the enemy tries to attack you, be BAD.

2. When things don't seem to be going right on your job, be BAD.

3. When things are not looking good in your marriage, be BAD.

4. When folks scandalize your name, just be BAD.

Get with somebody who you know that you can be BAD with!!!

- We desperately need God in our lives.
- We were designed to be lead by God.
- God wants to lead and direct our steps in life.
- Even the strong and the capable need God.

PRAYER: Lord, I need You! I need Your leading and direction in my daily life. I place my life in Your hands. Amen.

Who is going to take the shield of faith out into the ghettos?
And witness to the street gangs of the night
Who is going to be the bold one, to tell the pimps and prostitutes?
The affection that they crave is found in Christ
Who will take the breastplate of righteousness to the country’s schools?
And preach holiness to every boy and girl

Well it is you and it’s me, who witness for the Saviour and be the light of Jesus to the world

Tell me, who will walk strong and tall, and gird their loins with truth
And stand and say, abortion is a sin
Who will confront the politicians, with all their deception, and say in heaven God will not let liars in?
Who will take the helmet of salvation out into Wall Street, and teach wealth is more than cars, diamonds and pearls

Tell me when was the last time you witnessed to your neighbor and told him Jesus is the way.

Someone has to walk this gospel of peace and throughout our nations,
Our TV game shows will not clear our jails
Because it is you and it’s me, who’ll bear the light of God
And be the light of Jesus to the world

As you see now it depends whose hands it's in. So put your concerns, your worries, your fears, your hopes, your dreams, your families and your relationships in God's hands because...It depends whose hands it's in.
