Should a women submit unconditionally to her husband?
Well...
A fellow blogger brought up a good question:
Why does a man expect a woman to submit to him, less respect him, if he is an idiot?
Well I think it's because he is an idiot. And he'll presume to hold what he considers the command of G-d, over her head, wrongly. He's wrong. And selfish. And yes he fits the definition of an idiot quite nicely. He's far too often not the head of anything, but foolishness. I've met many more sincere female believers in my life than I have male. And it angers and saddens me as a man, and enrages me as a Christian.
Now there's a lot of socio-political blah blah blah that goes with it, but when it comes right down to it, far too many men have turned away from their G-d given role as head. And we cant blame 'feminism!' We can however blame ourselves as a gender (male) that feminism took root in the first place, out of seeming apparent necessity.
Now we have far too many men who wish to always play the womens heartstrings, and say that they are nothing without them. And that they complete them. It's mostly for show. Sometimes for real. But both are dangerous are they not?
It seems as a product of the lackadaisical attitude between themselves and their true head...G-d.
Listen to them say that a certain woman makes them whole, or they cant live without them. This is not how it should be. Right???
G-d/ Christ is the only thing that makes a man whole. G-d is mans head! We who are believers are not promised a life's love, save for G-d. G-d's Love is the only promise...so long as you believe in His word and follow Him. A precious women is an unbelievable gift of G-d. Like a new born child. Seeking this precept first, might give one a fleeting chance at a G-dly household. G-d first in all things.
It's written that we must seek first the Kingdom of G-d and then all things will be added unto us. It's also written that the Kingdom of G-d lies within us.
So, a man MUST put G-d first if he is to be a G-dly head of household! He must seek Him, and offer Him abode within, to become whole, and complete, and a Godly head of household.
No one will ever love you as much and as purely as Him.
How many men are pure of flatteries today when they try to win a womens heart??? Flattery is deception, no matter how sweetly wrapped and seemingly sincere.
Flattery and sincerity are mutually exclusive terms, lacking profound similitude.
How can we then be surprised when things fail?
Once they steal her heart...well the rest is often shameful.
Women have certainly picked up the slack of this generation.
And then of course there's always that wretched male idiot who chimes in and who presumes to throw it back in a woman's face that she's 'just a woman.'
And this intends to serve is a bit of self-assurance that he's somehow a 'man.!
If a man wants to be respected as a Godly head of the family, shouldn't he act like a Godly head of family? In all things! He needs to give his wife someone to respect and cherish as a man of G-d. He needs to take up ALL the remaining slack, by pointing to G-d.
Are men the head of household? Yes, in a biblical vacuum. But how many real men of G-d are left percentage wise as compared with women?
I'm no less than embarrassed by what these "heads of household" have become.
A brood of lazy, adulterous, unGodly, unattached monsters.
Remember that old adage, "just wait till your father gets home!"
Well he isn't coming home anymore. It's just momma there in the apartment working two or three jobs and raising the kids on her own, while "dad's" off setting up franchises of families all around town.
NO, this isn't how it always is, by any means! There are some unbelievable strong and goodly fathers, and men. Lions of G-d! But, they are endangered and rare, as far as I can see. Their children are not the kids we have to watch out for while they grow up. They are not the future prisoners. Nor are they the future liabilities, because they had no direction growing up. They are NOT the ones who start out believing the Bible is old and antiquated fairytale, because clearly 'men are not the head of household,' as it states.

I think the lion-share of the blame lies with us, as men. It's our 'brothers' who go out and violate the sanctity of marriage, or just seek to fulfill their lust every night...and create kids and lives that they have no spiritual or moral right to produce. It these same 'men' that wont care for them; that predominately leads to the decay of the ordained family structure, and ultimately to a large extent society itself.

Why would a women submit to a man who is spiritually her junior? This is mostly the case, by what I see.
For example, I'm supposed to submit to my elders. But, I just cannot when my 'elder' violates profusely, a spiritual lesson I have already learned. At some point they have nothing to offer me but, what I already know, and... confusion.
Once I lose respect for them...I'm best served to walk out the door.
Women have this very same inclination, far too often, when it comes to men these days.
Many great Christian women, Ive known embrace the concept of "men as head," beyond what I could ever expect from them. This too I must suspect is a tremendous gift of G-d, given our irreparable recent past.
Many beautiful Christian women even almost want to be led, by a man. They almost long to be submissive by their own words...the problem is that they are so far spiritually advanced compared to their male suiters, that they simply cannot.
I see it and I honestly cannot blame them.
If a man wants to consider himself a man, then he'd do well to commit to doing so, for the rest of his life once he draws a mate. Being a man means marrying your mate and vowing to stick it out thick and thin. This includes being a strong father. And a 'righteous' and fair husband. It means reading the Word of G-d and being a priest as the head of family. It means being a warrior when a member of your family is threatened. It means working so your child has comfort, and a future. It means helping your wife and picking up the slack when she's exhausted and cannot carry on.
It means using the broad shoulders that the Lord has gifted us with, as a wagon for the families burdens...as well as a head rest for the weak and tired.
It means a lot of things men today are not doing.
A mothers love, it appears at times is the only thing that keeps the unbelieving amongst us from absolute anarchy today.
Will she submit to her male counter part- unconditionally? I hope not, because if she did certain terror would be right around the corner.
So if you are male, and you want to be respected as the head of household, show something Godly and worthy of respect! Just as a warrior puts on his armour and doesn't remove it until the battle is won, or until he has perished. So must all men do. And bear it silently and with the strength endowed by the Savior and Lord of All men.
