With knowledge comes great sorrow. When we are children, we run everywhere and are curious to the core to figure out just what this body, time and place is all about. As we grow larger- the world invariably becomes smaller and smaller. With knowledge of nature, laws natural/ and civil, injustices, and the like- inevitably come fears. Fear that is very real.

With Knowledge of G-d, my world became less real. Less inviting. I found- we can even stumble over clouds of good intention. Relationships. Decisions. Friends.
Look what happens here on the blogs. All the biting, and bickering. Why? Fear. Fear of something. Un-acceptance? Tarnished image? Pride? Fear of irrelevence.
Who's ever right?
Does earnest conviction make you right? If you are prepared to die for your belief in G-d, does that make you more holy? More righteous?
What about intelligence? Or ability to express yourself fancifully? Does that make you more correct and justified in your belief?
No.
I have not heard of people in this day and age, so wholly convicted to belief in their belief, as these certain- homicide bombers. So convicted to do evil- out of what they deem righteousness. Out of what seemingly whole nations might deem righteousness.
How do we know THEY are not righteous?

Because they do not Love their neighbor.
What is the greater sin, the slaying of a body or a soul's light for G-d?

Every time we attempt to assess, and judge the conviction and beliefs of other Christian believers without offering a warm and loving hand; we in doing so, steal away a bit of their ember- inside. That ember for G-d and Christ. Who will be there to fan the flame, in wake of this? Anyone?
Will one make of his brother or sister- a spiritual widow.
Perhaps that ember will die out- as it was just smoldering and holding fast to what little truth it had to burn from. Perhaps it will pluck through and topple what little fabric remained, of an otherwise broken heart.
Who will pay the heavier price? The little one given little, and having lost; or the one who thinks himself great- and snatches what little -that little one had to start with?
To some a mite is great. To another, 30 shekels is always the right price.
I tell you knowledge is sorrow. And yet, His people, die from lack of it. Those with a spiritual mite are often prey to those with 30 spiritual shekels.
But those who think they have much- thinking they have 30 shekels- have NOTHING, if not Love.
They cannot have Love- if they do not offer a hand to raise those they've spiritually brow beaten and stolen from.
And those with Love, that is to say G-d, see it...and it breaks their hearts fully.
Such goes one tale of the knowledge of good and evil upon these our blogs.

In true Knowledge there is a fear of G-d.
In G-d there is Love.
In Knowledge and Love there is inevitable sorrow.
In sorrow is a tender heart...
A tender heart that breaks for the spiritual widow and her spiritual mite.
