Love vs. Lust

When the Lord first started giving me a desire to be married again, He took me to 1 Corinthians 13, a chapter that we are all familiar with. He took me down through the verses and showed me the difference between love and lust in a relationship. Since then I have tried to continually make sure that I am relating to men with love rather than lust because I love the Lord with my whole heart and never want to grieve Him. Below is what He showed me:
Love vs. Lust (1 Corinthians 13:4-8a, 14:1a)
Love is patient; lust is impatient. Love is kind; lust is unkind. Love does not envy; lust envies. Love does not boast; lust boasts. Love is not proud; lust is proud. Love is not rude; lust is rude. Love is not self-seeking; lust is self-seeking. Love is not easily angered; lust is easily angered. Love keeps no records of wrongs; lust keeps records of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil; lust delights in evil. Love rejoices with the Truth; lust hates the Truth. Love always protects; lust always uncovers. Love always trusts; lust always distrusts. Love always hopes; lust always destroys hope. Love always preserves; lust always destroys. Love never fails; lust always fails.
Embrace the way of Love; renounce the way of lust!

Don't Allow Yourself to Be Physically Harmed!

When someone is coming at you to harm you, did you know that you can stop them from harming you? The Word says this in Ephesians 6:12:
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places]."
Also, in Philippians 2:9-11, the Word says:
"Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth; and [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
These statement are to be taken literally. When a person attacks you, there are demons in that person prompting them to do it. All you need to do is say, "Stop! You cannot touch me, in the name of Jesus!" and they must stop! Those demons must obey you when you command them to do something in His name. They must bow their knee to His name. I have done this before. Trust me, it works!
So, if someone ever tries to do you physical harm, command them to stop in Christ's most precious and holy name, Amen!

There is a new person blogging here. He has already posted a couple of really strange posts. He made a comment on one of my posts that was so bad that I had to delete it. I have banned him from commenting on my blog in the future.
I would like to ask everyone who reads this to send up a prayer for livingsacrifice. Please pray that the spirits in him would be bound and that the Lord would break through all of his hurt and fear and anger and give him the gift of faith so that he can trust Christ as his Lord and Savior.
Thanks everyone!

It Is a Good Day to Die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Luk 9:23 "And he said to [them] all, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me."
What does it mean for us to take up our cross daily? Some people think that it means that we have burdens to carry. That goes against Scripture though. In Philippians 4:6 the Bible says,
"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God."
Also, Matthew 6:25 says,
"Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?"
So, what is our cross?
I think taking up our cross means that we die to ourselves daily. We picture ourself up on that cross with Christ everyday - dead to ourselves, but alive in Him. We ask Him to help us do His will instead of ours with each decision we make, word we speak, thought we dwell on, action we perform. Are we going to be perfect in doing this? No, not in this life. However, I can testify to the fact that we get better at it with practice.
So, I encourage everyone to pick up your cross today and everyday, and to say everyday -
It is a good day to die!!!!!!!!!!
