Am I My Brothers Keeper?Words Can Kill!
I was watching a show that was debating whether people on the internet should be held accountable for the things they speak there.
Megan Meier,a 13yr.old who had depression &
A.D.D.and was being treated for them had an account on MYSPACE.She spoke to several girls
on there that began fighting back & forth with
her.One of the girls lived four doors away from her and they knew each other pretty well as she had vacationed with their family and the family knew also of her illness. One of the girls mothers{Lori Drew}decided to get back at Megan
for arguing with her daughter,and she{the mother}
created a fake account with the name"Josh Edwards"and pretended to be a 16yr.old boy.
After Megan talked to "him"and confided in "him"
"he" turned on her and became mean to her also;
He told Megan "he" had written hundreds of
messages to different people on MYSPACE and other blogs calling her a "whore,slut,and other
nasty things and also wrote that"the world would be a better place without her".After she read them and found out what"he"did was true,Megan
killed herself.
Now I stated above"the boy"who did this was in actuality a grown woman and a Mother of one of the girls she had been fighting with.Sick as it is,the question is,"Should the Mother,Lori Drew,be held accountable in a court of law for anything?
A federal grand jury indicted Lori Drew on May 15th,2008.She is being charged with 3 counts of unauthorized access to a computer to obtain information to inflict emotional distress and
one count of criminal conspiracy.
A penalty up to 5yrs. in prison corresponds to
each of the four counts the indictment carries.
The case has caused several jurisdictions to consider legislation prohibiting harassment over
the internet.
Lori Drew has never said she is sorry for the part she played in Megan taking her life.She also said "she did not feel guilty because Megan had tried to commit suicide before".
So should an adult be held legally responsible for the suicide of a minor even indirectly when she knew the said minor had depression and other problems?
What are your thoughts on this?

He's A Warm Hearted Person Who'll Love Me To The End,He's My Best Friend,Ya, Ya,....
I know this really nice guy who I've been good friends with for quite a few years now.I grew up near him but like "the girl next store"never paid him any mind until a few years ago.
People I knew growing up,who knew him,would tell me how great he was,so caring and wonderful and kind.I was a bit intrigued but figured he wasn't really my type,as I was the bad girl gone wild
kind of woman.But the more I hung around with my friends at that time,the more I heard only good things about him.I became more and more curious about him and started talking to him more than before.We soon became good friends.Now we always hang together.
Although I'm not neccesarily attracted to him because of his physical appearance I'm attracted to his inner attributes..He has such a beautiful spirit and I really adore him now.
He's been there for me so many times when I needed a friend to talk to,give me direction lean on or just to share my joy with and he
always builds me up in the love he has for me.
I've since moved and have many other friends now.The thing is,some of them think my friends a wimp{like I did before truly knowing him}because he chooses his battles carefully but he has the quality of strength that shines through in his character.
My family professes to like him but never invites him into their home.I don't see them as much as I used to because they are adverse to
our relationship and make no qualms about their feelings.They think he's like a cult leader
because they say he has way too much influence on me.
It's sad,after all,their my kin,you'd think they would at least be respectful to him.When I get together with friends we can talk about almost anything.Politics,our finances,whats happening in their lives etc.But whenever I dare mention my best friend they shut me out,end of conversation.
They don't particularly like him either.
Now I hardly mention my relationship with him at all or talk about how it would be good for them to meet him also.
I just pray that someday my best friend,Jesus, will be their best friend too.

Absent From The Body,Present With The Lord
Someone wrote a post the other night but deleted it and it seems that some were confused
as to whether they went immediately into Gods presence when they died or remained dead til the second coming or rapture.
I wanted to clarify what the Bible says about what happens to and where believers go when they die.
2Corinthians5:6-8
Therefore we are always confident,knowing that,
whilst we are at home in the body,we are absent from the Lord.{For we walk by faith not by sight}
We are confident,I SAY,and willing rather to be absent from the body;and to be present with the Lord.
The moment you die you will be escorted straight to be with the Lord as a believer saved by the blood of the Lamb.
Acts7:59
And while they were stoning him,Stephan prayed,"Lord Jesus receive my spirit.
The concept of soul sleep is unbiblical.
We are through Christ reconciled to God and shall never be separated from Him.
Our physical bodies will go to the grave until
the rapture or second coming but our spirits are not in a state of suspended animation or sleep not if we belong to Jesus.
Jesus will come and bring the spirits of those who are already with him and will resurrect their bodies imperishable in perfect union.
Once we have eternal life in Jesus we are always with Him and never cease to exist without Him not even temporarily.
1Thessalonions5:9-10
For God has not destined us for wrath,but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,who died for us that whether we are awake
{alive}or asleep{dead},we may live together with Him.

Of course Scripture is most important for it is
the Word of God by which we learn to live and
through the Gospel message first find amazing grace and do not lean on our own understanding.
It can also be used to edify,uplift,convict,teach
and is a powerful weapon we use and God
through His Words and spirit rebukes satanic influences.
1Corinthians12:1-11
Now,about spiritual gifts,brothers,I do not want you to be ignorant.There are different kinds of gifts but the same spirit.There are different kinds of service but the same Lord.There are
different kinds of working but the same God works
all of them in all men.Now to each one the manifestation of the spirit is given for the common good.To one there is given through the spirit the message of wisdom,to another the
message of knowledge by means of the same spirit,
to another faith by the same spirit,to another
gifts of healing by the spirit,to another miraculous powers,to another prophecy,to another
distinguishing between spirits,to another speaking in tongues,to another interpretation of tongues.All these are the work of one and the same spirit and he gives them to each one just as
he determines.
It is therefore not a quesrtion of how smart or intelligent one is or how versed one is in Scripture but how they apply it to their lives.
Some seem to think they are the only ones capable of reading and discerning Gods word or
having His spirit speak to them.
Even Paul,who was,let's face it,a very good writer and eloquent speaker never boasted about his mental capacities but boasted in the Lord alone.
1Corinthians2:1-5
When I came to you brothers,I did not come to you with eloquence or superior wisdom.I proclaimed to you the testimony of God.For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you
except Jesus Christ and him crucified.I came to you in weakness and fear,and with much trembling.My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words,but with a demonstration of the spirits power,so that your faith might not rest on mens wisdom,but on Gods power.
So you see Paul does not glorify himself{because
he knows he is a worthless sinner saved by grace}
but instead glorifies God at all times.

Brothers think of what you were when you were called.Not many of you were wise by human standards,not many were influential;not many were
of noble birth.But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise;God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong;He
chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things and the things that are not-to

are in Christ Jesus,who has become for us wisdom from God-that is our righteousness,holiness and
redemption.Therefore as it is written,"Let him
who boasts,boast in the Lord."
I think a lot of the problem here is that people
somehow forget why they originally came on this
site.I'm sure,like myself,their intention was to learn,get advice,counsel,be counseled and to seek fellowship with and grow in the knowledge
and the grace of God and to glorify Him.
Somehow as it seems to do when one is not readily paying attention,sin or self creeps in
and tries to establish its purpose.
So we must seek God earnestly and once again, ask Him to crucify our flesh.
For we are all helpless sinners and are now justified by the grace of God through Jesus Christ.
So we all should say:
"To Him alone be the glory{for that's true}please
God make me an instrument of use for you.
"Let God alone get the glory".

What Makes A Good Pastor?
One of the toughest tasks a church faces is choosing a pastor.As a member on the church board I was losing patience.I watched as most of the committee rejected applicant after applicant for some minor fault,real or imagined.It was time for a bit of soul searching on part of the committee.I stood up and read this letter to them.
Gentlemen,
Understanding your pulpit is vacant,I should like to apply for the position.I have many qualifications.I've been a preacher with much success and also some success as a writer.Some
say I'm a good organizer.I've been a leader most places I've been.I'm over 50 years of age and to be perfectly honest,I have never preached in one place for more than three years.In some places I have left town after my work caused disturbance.
I must admit I have been in jail 3 or 4 times
but not because of any real wrongdoing.My health
is not good although I accomplish a great deal.
The churches I have preached in have been small,
though located in several large cities.I have
not gotten along well with the religious leaders in the towns where I preached.In fact,some have threatened me and even attacked me physically.
I am not good at keeping records.I have been known to forget who I baptized.However,if you
can use me,I promise to do my best for you.
I turned to the board and asked,"Well,what do you think?Shall we call him?"
The good church folk were appalled!
"Consider a sickly,troublemaking,absent-minded
ex jailbird? Are you crazy? Who signed the application? Who had the collosal nerve?
I eyed them all keenly before I replied,"It's
signed ????
Are we as the church body to quick to rush to judgement before we know all the facts?

Oprah,One of the mistakes that human beings make is that believing that there is only one way to live.And that we don't accept that their are diverse ways of being in the world that there are millions of ways to be a human being and many paths{gesturing to woman} to what you call God.Her path might be something else and when she gets there she might call it the light.But her loving and her kindness and her generosity brings her to the same point that it brings you.It doesn't matter whether she called it God along the way or not.
Woman,I mean the danger that could be in that,it sounds great on the onset but if you really look at both sides...
Oprah interrups her:
There couldn't possibly be just one way.
Someone in audience says something about Jesus.
Oprah:What,what about Jesus?"{Her voice indignant}
Audience woman:You say your difficulty is one way,THERE IS ONE WAY AND ONLY ONE WAY AND THAT IS THROUGH JESUS!

Audience woman:BECAUSE YOU SAID THERE ISN"T!
Praise God for raising up that mighty warrior woman in Christ and taking on the Queen of the
airwaves{the prince of the airwaves relative}.
I mostly stopped watching Oprah quite a long time ago but tune in every now and then to see what she is up to as I have a close friend that watches and seems to be one of her disciples.My friend says she believes in Jesus but believes
like Oprah that there are many paths one can take to being saved.I tell her that,that thinking doesn't make any sense for if Jesus says"I am the truth,the way,and the life no one comes to the Father except through me"then how can you believe in Jesus yet claim all ways lead to God?She gets really upset with me so I pray for her and ask God to open her heart and mind
to the truth.
First Billy Graham,then Oprah and now John Hagee exactly what is going on here?
The spirit of the antichrist is alive.Pray for these people and the many others that are being deceived and mislead and pray ever for your sisters and brothers in Christ.
May our gracious Lord ever keep you and I pray that you might be a blessing to someone today through Christ our Lord,Amen

Once You Know What You Know You Just Can't Go Back To What You Didn't Know.
Now we know that there is no Biblical foundational truth for replacing Sabbath Day worship with Sunday.In the Bible from Genesis to Revelation Saturday Sabbath is the weekly day of rest.And we know that people argue that because
Christ was said to be resurrected on Sunday they are just celebrating that belief.
But where in the entire Bible did Jesus or his Apostles mention that?
Is Gods Word truth or Mans?
Just who decided to change the Sabbath Day to Sunday and Why? And does it really matter?
Now we know that Sunday was a day of worship for pagan followers of the sun.There was actually eve a cult in 274 A.D. that was instated by Emperor Aurelian that worshipped the sun on Sunday.This was founded like other sun worshipers on ancient beliefs of Chaldeon astrologers.And Old Norse heathens also worshiped the sun amongst many others.
Emperor Constantine in 321 incorporated and enacted this law into effect that all Christians should make their Sabbath Day Sunday.It is interesting to note that Pope Sylvester was the Pope during the reign of Constantine and was the first to order that change in the church.{Migues Patrologia Latina}
"Die Solas" means day of the sun and I don't think they meant day of Gods Son by that statement.Now fron studies we know he did this at the time to enable pagans to feel more comfortable with assimilating to and following Christ.So we see this is not a law that God made but was man-made.And over the years of church history most who were honest admitted this to be so.
"The Catholic church by virtue of her divine mission changed the day from Saturday to Sunday."

Why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday?
"Because the Catholic Church instated it"

"The Catholic Church changed the observance from Saturday to Sunday,by right of the divine infallible authority given to her by her founder,Jesus Christ.The Protestant claiming the Bible to be the only guide of faith,has no warrent for observing Sunday.In this manner the Seven Day Adventist is the only consistent Protestant in this respect.{The Catholic Universe Bulletin,

"The observance of Sunday by the Protestants is a homage they pay,in spite of themselves,to the

Now I guess if you believe that the Pope has the divine authority to change Gods Word and law,then I can understand people believing they are correct to follow it.But if you believe God is the divine authority and mans truth does not supercede Gods then why do we follow it?

Does the papacy acknowledge changing the Sabbath?
The Catechismus Romanus was commanded by the council of Trent and published by the Vatican Press,by the order of Pope Pius V,in 1566,This
catechism for priests says"It pleased the Church of God,that the religious celebration of the Sabbath day,should be transferred to the Lords day,Sunday".{Catechism of the Council of Trent,
Donavans translation,1867,part3,chpter4,p.345}.
Do the Catholic authorities acknowledge there is no command in the bible for sanctification of Sunday?
They do.
"You may read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation and you will not find a single line authorizing the sanctification of Sunday.The
Scriptures enforce the religious observance of Saturday,a day which we never sanctify".
{James Cardinal Gibbons,The Faith of Our Fathers,1917 edition}.
How did Sunday observance originate?
"As a voluntary celebration of the resurrection,a custom without pretense of divine authority".
Matthew28:1 states clearly that Christ rose on the Sabbath Saturday.
In the END of the Sabbath,as it began to dawn
TOWARD the FIRST day of the WEEK,came Mary Magdeline and the other Mary to see the sepulcher.

He is not here:for he is risen,as He said,Come,
see the place where the Lord lay.
What kind of worship does the Saviour call which is not according to Gods commands?

Satan,the great counterfeiter,introduced a counterfeit Sabbath,to take the place of the true Sabbath of God.
Til the fourth century believers were still observing the Sabbath til finally down
through the century they too conformed to the customs of man or were persecuted with very few left alive.
All through the Bible we find how important honoring the Sabbath is between man and God.
It was precious to Jesus too,for he always did the will of His father.

The definition of the"emergent church"according to Wikipedia is that it is"a diverse movement within Christianity that arose in the late 20th
century as a reaction to the influence of modernism in Western Christianity.It takes its name from the idea that as culture changes,the
church changes or responds to these changes.
It is concerned with the deconstruction and reconstruction of Christianity in the postmodern
world.It attempts to move away from"traditional
doctrine"with its definition and boundaries and
is in favor of extracting underlying truths from
the Bible.
Some of them are:it calls people to reflect the goodness of God in this world,it calls people also to graciousness to others and the rest of the world,it calls people to glorify God by
manifesting the way Christ lived and treated people.
Well so far that sounds about right except for some important facts that seem to be missing.
John14:6
I am the Way,and the Truth and the Life,no one comes to the Father except through me.
Brian McClaren,one of these emerging church pastors says,"that faith in Jesus is not a must
to enter the kingdom of heaven.Rob Bell,another pastor of this movement,directs his readers to the heretic,Marcus Borg,who says,"Jesus is not Gods son and that Christs body was not resurrected.Unquote
This is a new form of UNIVERSALISM and is a non-Christian PAGAN CULT operating under the guise of EVANGELICALISM while preaching the DOCTRINE OF DEMONS.This is NEW AGE APOSTASY at its finest
and it will spread and infect the whole church
and the younger generation,who as Rob Bell said,
"Are fascinated by Jesus but can't do the standard Christianity package.He also said,"It
wouldn't make a difference if Mary wasn't a

not find it in my book.To argue is a relic of a bygone era.The Bible is about doing good works for the benefit of all people.It is NOT about
propositional OBJECTIVE TRUTH.UNQUOTE
He says "he wants to stimulate peoples thinking by promoting obscurity".UNQUOTE HA,HA,HA,
if it wasn't so sad and people are actually being mislead by him and other apostates.
And Rick Warren author of "The Purpose Driven Life"and pastor of Saddleback church an up and coming mega church in California has teamed up with NEW AGE GURU,Ken Blanchard,to train leaders in Ricks church.
Ken Blanchard advocates using mantras,yoga and
says much can be gained from Buddhism to attain altered states of consciousness.
Paul tells us in the end times in:
2Timothy3 People will be always learning and
never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
So just because at first something appears to look good and promotes some truth,yet omits others,remember Satan is crafty and half a truth is really no truth at all.It is a lie.
