Who Can I Turn To If You Turn Away?
Displaced women pray outside a local church in Kirbiti and turn to the Lord and beseech Him to save them.

Then the King will say to those on His right,"Come,you who are blessed by my Father;take your inheritance,the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat,I was thirsty and you gave me something
to drink,I was a stranger and you invited me in,I needed clothes and you clothed me,I was sick and you looked after me,I was in
prison and you came to visit me".
Then the righteous will answer Him,"Lord,when did we see you hungry and feed you,or thirsty and give you something to drink?
When did we see you a stranger and invite you in,or needing clothes and clothe you?When did we see you sick or in prison and
go to visit you?"
The King will reply,"I tell you the truth,whatever you did for the least of one of these brothers of mine,you did for me.'
U.N.peacekeepers constrained by useless mandates and lack of political and moral will,have stood by or fled as Africans have been slaughtered from Rwanda to Darfur.Now The Democratic Republic of Congo might be added to their shame.
Over the past two years one million people have been forced
from their homes by fighting between government forces and rebel
forces east of the country.Time to send in the U.N.to help?
Good idea,except they are already there.
Although there is a 17,000 strong U.N.force,the largest in the world deployed in the region,they have done little to intervene
in the conflict.If U.N.peacekeepers are not effectively or willfully saving lives,why the pretense of protection?
Another Congolese refugee talked to reporters on a road outside Goma as he pleaded for protection from marauding fighters while foreign governments discussed how to send in aid as most hesitated to send in more troops.
The International community is scrambling to organize a summit to prevent a resumption of the fighting in Congo that has displaced a quarter million people in recent weeks.But the conflict will be tough to end without resolving the issue at its heart-the presence of Huta militias who participated in Rwandas genocide.
Children wailed and yelled to show their distress,the youngest victims who have no other means or way to say they are famished,sick,weary and afraid.
Thousands spent another night in the open as Mothers tried vainly to shield their children from the chilly rain with cotton cloth or plastic sheets torn from sacks.Many also were already malnourished as malaria and diarrhea were becoming widespread and
60% of the refugees are children.
Tens of thousands others were headed back North across rebel lines saying they had no choice but to go back home because they could not find food or shelter.
A disconsolate Mother wept at the roadside North of Kirbiti.She had fled the violence into neighboring Uganda and was making her way back through the forest when she lost her only son.
"What shall I do?What will become of him?,she wailed tearing at the braids on her head."I can't go home without him and I can't find him".
Gordon Brown warned the world"We can't allow a Congo genocide to be a repeat like Rwanda".Contingency plans were being drawn up for deployment of a European Union Force including U.K.troops
to support the U.N.
You can actively engage in making your voice heard in support of the Congolese people.Go to the International Rescue Committee
page and write a letter to your Senator and State Representatives.The International Rescue Committee has been taking a stand to help fight violence against women,girls and people in the Congo,Sudan,Darfur,West Africa,Iraq,and other places since 1996.
Take action,advocate for change.
My letter below.Probably not the most eloquent,but you can write your own.
Dear Sir,
My heart as a Christian Mother and fellow human being bleeds for the people and Mothers of the Congo.The situation there is reaching crisis proportions with thousands displaced and not enough relief in sight.Although the U.N.sends peacekeepers they are incapable of action when genocide occurs and by the looks of things that may happen very soon unless our government and others
raise their collective voices in protest and actively engage in helping the Congolese people.I hope you as a Senator of the wonderful state of Pennsylvania,will earnestly engage in making your constituents heard in Congress in support of the Congolese people.May God bless you and thank you for all the things you continue to do for the residents of the great state of Pennsylvania and our great nation.

But how can they call on Him to save them unless they believe in him?And how can they believe in Him if they have never heard about Him?And how can they hear about Him unless someone tells them?And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent?
So faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of Christ.
"How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news"
While men are responsible to respond to the Gospel,God is the
one who initiates the Gospels proclamation,who sends out those who proclaim it and who personally speaks through them.
If faith cannot be exercised apart from hearing the word then
what do you think about Billy Grahams words here:
Billy Graham stated:"I once met someone who lived in a far off tribe in the jungle that have never seen civilization let alone the Bible.Still one of the tribesman,unlike the others,believed somehow there is a God"

His answer doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.
And if that is the case why the need for evangelism?Are people held accountable only for their response to the revelation they have received?

Bily Graham has been considered the greatest preacher and messenger of Gods Word in the 20th century who has brought
untold milllions to Christ.Was he having a senile moment when he stated this?Seriously,what do you think or believe?

Senator Joe Biden responded by saying that no one in the U.S.Senate has been a better friend of Israel than Joe Biden...
You must back Israel in negotiations..not insist on accepting
policies.

Olmert was willing to give up the Golan Heights if he could be assured by Syria that they will cut ties with Hezbollah,Hamas and Iran.
The Golan Heights is a very strategic area in the North
and without it Israel will be a low sitting duck in the event of an attack.In 1948,1967,and 1973 Syria launched three attacks upon Israel from this location.They tried to cut off the supply of water from Israel from there but God had other plans.
Although Israel rejected their streams of living water centuries ago,
Praise Be To God that He keeps His promises and has not done likewise.
And yet American Christian politicians are ready to carve up Gods
land to be politically correct.Isn't it bad enough that the whole Muslim world seeks to delegitamize tiny Israel and now
one of our Vice Presidential picks is in agreement to a two state solution.Its not okay to murder babies in the womb but it is okay to concede land to the Palestinians and by that choice
effectively choose to murder the nation that God loves and cherishes and establishes as His own.
In the Bible God gave Abraham the land of Cannan.
The boundaries of Israel are listed in the Word of God.

God never reneges on His promises or forgets them.And if we follow him we should be in agreement with His Word and not seek to challenge it.
This land was given to Abraham and His seed through Israel and Jacob and Gods Word is EVERLASTING and UNCONDITIONAL as far as
Israel goes.God entered into a blood covenant with Abraham and
He gave the Jews a biblical mandate to posess the land FOREVER.

God has personally sworn to protect and defend the nation of Israel.

God has designed the flag of Israel and has promised to gather the Jews back to the land under that flag.

Do we blatantly dare to bargaign off part of Gods inheritance or
vote into office those that choose to?

So if God created Israel for His own inheritance wouldn't it be prudent NOT to opt for or be guilty of having anything to do with a TWO STATE SOLUTION?
Their are some who are willing to place their bets against Gods
Sovereignty yet the Bible in Gods own Words tells us they will do that to their own destruction.

So if we are to abide in Gods Word we can clearly see that a TWO STATE SOLUTION is in direct disagreement and opposition to GOD.

When he addressed the Israel Knesset on June24th,2008,he pledged Frances support of Israel not just verbally,but if need be,physically,as well.However,he told Israel that
they must stop building settlements in occupied territories{Judea & Samaria}& must:
SHARE SOVEREIGNTY OF JERUSALEM WITH THE PALESTINIANS!
While he was getting ready to leave Ben Gurion
Airport,a shot rang out as the band played.Israel
security rushed Sarkozy to his plane.
A longtime soldier,assigned to the Elite Border Guard,who was on a rooftop with two other guards & was within 100 yards of the ceremony,with a
400 yard range rifle,shot himself to death as the band started to play farewell.Immediately the entire media was removed,so that is the official story.The soldiers family & a lot of

Sarkozy almost singlehandedly established the
"Mediterranean Union"on JULY13th,2008.The act unionizes all E.U. members with many non-members
most of whom are Muslim & Israel.
He launched it with an international body of 43 member nations aimed at ending conflict in the

A joint declaration called for a nuclear free Middle East.So far the only country in the
Middle East that we know of,that has nuclear weapons is Israel!

Why We Are To Stand On The Word Of God Not Our Feelings
God doesn't sentence us to discontent and
disappointment.He already paid the price of the sentence for us and has set us free.Rather we sentence ourselves to discontentment and disappointment when we allow adverse circumstances or other people define who we are.
Don't let yourself be mastered by circumstances but by the truth of God.
Acts2:38
Repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sin.
Galatians5:22
But the fruit of the spirit is..JOY.
God desires us to walk in JOY no matter what our circumstances.
God gives us discernment by His Word and Spirit.It is up to us to listen and to be guided by it.
God ever abides with us as we go through trials.
Satan is the one who tries to get us to believe Gods promises are not truth.
Jesus said we will have trials and tribulation in this life{as He did}but by His power and might we have the ability to rise above and overcome them.
A good way to do this is to study Gods Word everyday so you will see how He always supplies the needs of His people.This way you will have faith and confidence that HE WILL PROVIDE.
Even Moses had doubts but He stepped out in faith and didn't let his own weaknesses define him but Gods strength.God is molding you into who He wants you to be despite your weaknesses.
Sometimes we need to take one day at a time and deal with life as it comes as too much worrying not only gives us grey hair and ulcers but will depress us to the point of paralysis.
Fear is a tool of the Devil so when he comes
knocking hang out your"Do Not Disturb" sign and
stand faithfully on the Word of God.
Life and living can hurt at times but God WILL sustain you.Hold true to Gods promises.He will never desert you or give up on you.You are His beloved child and an heir to His promises.
Psalm30:5
Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning.
So patiently endure the night and wait for JOY TO COME.
If you are hurting,discouraged,confused or disappointed by what is happening in your life right now talk to God.Tell Him how you feel.Ask Him to give you the grace and patience to persevere.Be encouraged by His Word that He will never leave you or forsake you.Take His Words and truth to heart.Focus on Him not your circumstances.That doesn't mean ignore what is happening in your life or stuff your feelings down deep so they can resurface in the future but instead focus on trusting in God that He
works all things out for your best even though you may not "feel it"right now.

Faithful is He who calls you and He will bring it to pass.
Even the Bible tells us that Jesus declared,"Not everyone who says to me Lord,Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven".These people evidently felt saved and secure but they were not.Our faith in God and salvation through Jesus Christ is not based on feelings.It is based on His everlasting Word and belief in it.That is why we walk by faith not sight{feelings etc.}.

We walk by faith and not by sight.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.
Why should we stand on Gods truth and not our feelings?Because feelings change and people can be fickle but God never changes so therefore we can have confidence and great faith in Him.

So we say with confidence,
The Lord is my helper;I will not be afraid.

There are just so many beautiful places in Gods creation and this picture is one of my favorites.I have it on my desktop.The water looks so clean & inviting but I bet it's rather cold.The valley looks so pristine and peaceful.It looks so idyllic.
Norway is such a wonderful country to behold with its diverse landscapes and awe inspiring fjords.I could get lost in this picture.Oh,look there I am down at the village church.What you don't see me? But you can see Gods creative greatness and goodness and all the wonderful things He lovingly provides us with.He provides us with atonement through His Son and His spirit
so that we too can see through eyes such as His.Isn't He wonderful!

I was looking at the various news on the
internet and came across an article that was
telling of a site that is selling Obama Sock
Puppets that depict Obama`as a monkey.
I'm not voting for Obama because I don't agree with some of his political views yet it is amazing how low people will stoop to make money
and capitalize on a situation.I find this very distasteful and offensive.
This Utah couple who run this site claim they made it as a cuddly toy so people can enjoy
having it as a souvenir of the campaign and their favorite candidate and see it as an educational tool.An un educational tool is more like it.
Do they expect anyone in their right mind or spirit to believe that?Unless they were raised on another planet or are genetically defective of sound mind themselves,they very well know the derogatory implications of depicting black people as monkeys is a racial stereotype that was {and still is I see}used in the past to
marginalize and dehumanize black people.
How dare they pretend otherwise!!!
There is a site you can go to called,"The Petition Site,"where you can sign a petition to let your voice be heard and let these sadly misguided people know racial intolerance will not be easily tolerated by the majority of
Americans.

The Ten Commandments
Judge Roy Moore of Alabama was removed from the bench in 2003 for standing up for the inalienable right to acknowledge God and for refusing to remove The Ten Commandments from his courtroom wall.Judge Moore was sued by the ACLU
for displaying the Ten Commandments in his courtroom foyer.He was stripped of his judgeship and now they are trying to strip him of his right to practice law in Alabama.
This is a poem he wrote:

Where Did SweetHoney Go???
WITHOUT A TRACE,something is causing bees to vanish by thousands.But a new task force here on Big Church,headed by the inquiring mind of
Independence hopes to finger the culprit and save the valuable bloggers that rely on SweetHoney.}
This phenomena has come to be known as "christian colony collapse disorder".
In May Honeybees that were delivered to the
California based farm of Big Church mysteriously disappeared.
"I came to theologically debate with SweetHoney
and she had just flat out disappeared.There were no dead bees,no bees around,just an empty space"
said Freddie.
Honeybees always return from whence they blogged.
Researcher Ms.Independence is scrambling to find answers to what is causing SweetHoney to abandon her blog and disappear.
"This could put a strain on fruit growers here
and around the world,and other bloggers who rely on her to pollinate their crops.A lot of people think Honeybees are only important for the honey they produce said entomologist Loki2007,but much ,much more important are their pollination services of doctrinal truths.
Sometimes they leave behind younger bees in the pupa stage that are still developing and so they
are abandoned and nature takes its course.
The United States bee population has been hit in recent years by a tiny parasitic bug called"red devil".
Some experts say the bees demise has been blamed on poor management of not so friendly networking,
that this might have resulted from the mysterious disorder.Others blame a nefarious mite called"sensitivity".
The University of B.C.leads a company called"Bee
Alert Technology Inc.which as we speak,is looking for possible explanations.
Social scientists seem less than worried that this disorder could be a contagious disease that will be spread to other bee farms til the flavor is gone and there is no more honey being produced.This might possibly be the start of a worldwide famine as less fruit will be
produced.
Many of the farmers must be earnest in spreading the Word before annihilation strikes the masses. )
