the last few days have been quite bizzare.
I have had moments of deep, deep peace then happiness and contentment and then for no reason at all - tears.

202 Views | I didn't think it was possible for my parents to hurt me anymore. Oh boy i got that wrong!!
They have chosen to alienate my eldest son and exclude him from *their* family.
So tonight, i sat and typed them a letter, tellin them how disappointed and saddened i am that they have chosen to continue a grudge because of a mistake my son made.
I am returning their gifts and cards because i can not condone their behaviour.
My sister was my accountability with my letter, she said it was eloquent.
i do feel a total peace about it - i am just hurt by their actions. | |

177 Views | I have been reflecting about 2007 and i wont be sad to see the back of it.
This year has been a unique one for sure.
I started the year with my son, my youngest running away when he felt like it.
Hassles at school with my daughter.
My eldest son caused me the greatest angst and pain
I studied hard and achieved my NVQ3 in health and community care.
I got a pay rise and promotion at work.
My son came home.
I have seen so called friends come and go.
Despite the most amazing rollercoater of emotions, God has remained the only solid rock in my life. | |

207 Views | I feel God is sayin a whole heap to me about forgiveness and i am not sure i have got this right.
I read the other night - about prayin for ya enemies and i can do that.
I can forgive, i have forgiven, but that relationship will never be the same again for me. I will not allow that person to hurt me again.
If they were to come to me in an hour of need, i would help them all i could but i wouldn't be able to ask them for help.
i guess i need to work on this huh? | |

| An Amazing Day |

187 Views | I have had a totally awesome day and just need to share this.
I recieved a letter from a female friend i havent seen in years - i was only thinking about her a few days ago - it was so good to hear from her!
Then my daughter came home with her interim report and she is doing so well, She has all A's and B's.
Then Smiley was in chat - it was so good to see her and chat with her - come back more often Smiley - we all love to see you!!!
Tonight i am a happy bunny | |

222 Views | I haven't been able to blog recently - cus everything is whizzing around in my head and i dunno where to start, the blogs i have done tonight aren't what i wanted to post.
But i just really feel in need of a friend right now.
I have been praying loads but just cant seem to settle and dont wanna be a bother to anyone. I know Jesus is the answer and all the answers are in the bible.
Maybe i am just not being patient enough, or listening hard enough - i dunno. | |

We are preparing for Christmas - each year we do the same procedures.
My daughter and i make and ice a cake, she picks what critters go on the top and moulds the amazing shapes with marizpan.
Jesus is always in the centre, surrounded by kangaroo's, anteaters, zebras all kinds of menagerie, it may sound barking mad (i tend to agree)but those cakes are amazing ice breakers!!
I remember as a small child, my mama being so particular about where decorations went and how they had to be *just so*
My youngest son and daughter decorate our tree - sometimes it looks absolutely shocking - but to them its beautiful and thats fabulous. | |

116 Views | Christmas is fast approaching, preparations are in place for Christmas day.
I have been lookin back on this last year with some dread - how i dint cope with certain things, how gracious God was/is with me.
I never imagined all my children would be together for Christmas, but they will be.
That makes me so humble.
My heart this year will be with parents who have *runaway* children, a child missing at the table.
Seperation, no matter what the reason/cause is so agonisingly painful. | |
