Michael W. Smith Open the Eyes of My Heart Lyrics

Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see You
I want to see You

Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see You
I want to see You

To see You high and lifted up
Shinin' in the light of Your glory
Pour out Your power and love
As we sing holy, holy, holy

Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see You
I want to see You

Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see You
I want to see You

To see You high and lifted up
Shinin' in the light of Your glory
Pour out Your power and love
As we sing holy, holy, holy

(Repeat two more times)

Holy, holy, holy
We cry holy, holy, holy
You are holy, holy, holy
I want to see you

Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
You are holy, holy, holy
I want to see you

Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy,
I want to see you

Shout to the Lord Mar 7, 2009 12:27 pm

Shout To The Lord lyrics

My Jesus, my Saviour
Lord there is none like You
All of my days I want to praise
The wonders of Your mighty love

My comfort, my shelter
Tower of refuge and strength
Let every breath, all that I am
Never cease to worship You

Shout to the Lord
All the Earth, let us sing
Power and majesty
Praise to the King
Mountains bow down
And the seas will roar
At the sound of Your name

I sing for joy at the work
Of Your hand
Forever I'll love You
Forever I'll stand
Nothing compares
To the promise I have
In You

Exodus 36: 6-9
The LORD passed in front of Moses, calling out,
“Yahweh! The LORD!
The God of compassion and mercy!
I am slow to anger
and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.
7 I lavish unfailing love to a thousand generations.
I forgive iniquity, rebellion, and sin.
But I do not excuse the guilty.
I lay the sins of the parents upon their children and grandchildren;
the entire family is affected—
even children in the third and fourth generations.”

Did Jesus come to divide or unite us? Mar 7, 2009 8:59 am

Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I came to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and a man’s enemies will be the members of his household. He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it." (Matthew 10:34-39 NAS

Fights on BC Mar 7, 2009 8:30 am

Personally, I'm sick of seeing the constant blogs fighting over religion or the many posts attacking each other. I'm glad so many of ya'll "think" you have it right just because you follow this religious practice or another. Kudos to you but as the old saying goes "opinions are like *&*holes, everybodys got one". I joined this site to meet people, not to hear how "right" your religion is or your hate for one another.

So what do you think about the fights on BC?
I enjoy the in-fighting and would like for it continue.
That's what they invented email for, take the issue to the person
Get bored with it and skip over the blogs.
Makes me wonder why I joined.
Free speech, what a blessing!
I know now why people on BC are single.

Putting your affairs in order Mar 4, 2009 12:45 pm

Never under estimate the warped mind of a woman!!

The doctor, after an examination, sighed and said, 'I've got some bad news. You have cancer, and you'd best put your affairs in order.'The woman was shocked, but managed to compose herself and walk into the waiting room where her daughter had been waiting.

Well daughter, we women celebrate when things are good, and celebrate when things don't go so well.? In this case, things aren't well. I have cancer. Let's head to the club and have a martini. 'After 3 or 4 martinis, the two were feeling a little less somber.

There were some laughs and more martinis. They were eventually approached by some of the woman's old friends, who were curious as to what the two were celebrating. The woman told her friends they were drinking to her impending end. 'I've been diagnosed with AIDS.'The friends were aghast, gave the woman their condolences and beat a hasty retreat.

After the friends left, the woman's daughter leaned over and whispered,'Momma, I thought you said you were dying of cancer, and you just told your friends you were dying of AIDS! Why did you do that??''Because I don't want any of those old hags sleeping with your father after I'm gone. 'And THAT, my friends, is what is called, 'Putting Your Affairs in Order.
