My mailbox on BC gets bombarded by scammers (I think) and I'm fed up of even going through the mail. Anyone who has something to say privately to me can do so here and I won't post the message unless you ask me to.

A radio station posed an excellent question. Are Christmas trees pagan worship?

Some say that this verse applies to the transfiguration. However, Jesus also stated that the kingdom is near.

Give me a break!  Another email with the claim of a deceased wife, etc, etc...... They need to think of something original so it will at least entertain me while reading the junk mail.

The internet...

Just sitting here thinking of how the internet can be sinful. It can (if we let it) drain our time and prevent us from being with our Father, families and just being around other people having fellowship. I spend much time on the computer doing work but I'll usually have something entertaining (such as a social website) up while working....just to break up the monotony (so I tell myself). Then I find myself when not working I'm at it again. Of course I have to check everything and see what's going on. Make an excuse for this or that and the next thing you know I've wasted a big chunk of time. This doesn't happen all the time...but it happens.
We have to watch out for our slow fade....
