Trouble is swirling about on all sides. Times are perilous. There is a whirlwind of principalities.
God has picked me up and placed my in the palm of his hand. Though the storm rages without, I am fully protected in him. He has given me his peace. I rest in him. All is well.

Very wary in many ways these days at B.C. There are lots of people coming on without photos so who knows what is happening with that.

My very excellent anti-virus programs catch viruses each and every time I log on to BC. Since I use my computer for my business, I really don't want to chance any problems for the sake of this site. The most often caught virus is called sapphire flower. Today there was a new one called agulon which has been stopped by my antivirus twice in the past 20 minutes. I am manually running a new anti-virus every day.

I used to log in and smile, maybe cry, and often laugh because I enjoyed everyone and it was truly edifying to visit the blogs. These days, not many people post, and there are few posts that are anything more than agenda promoting text. I have sensed the end of the BC for a month now. It is dying. It will never be what is was. The times and perils are ramping up fast. There are some people here who do post as the Lord leads and my dear friends you know who you are! heheheh

I feel I am using good sense to stay away from BC at least for a while. More importantly, the Lord is telling me to move away. To be a good steward of my time. To protect my computer! Much love and many blessings to the Saints of God.

Though trials will come, and we sometimes suffer many types of difficulties, through all these trials we can rest assured that In Christ Jesus HE causes me to be stronger! HE causes me to have wisdom, HE causes me to have kindness, and patience, and persistence! No doubt about it, all HE brings me through HE will turn to HIS Glory and all praise and honor go to HIM alone. Bless the Lord!

It may seem like a small thing but no, It is a huge hug from God. Yesterday it was pea-soup foggy all day long and very gloomy. The forecast did not call for improvement from what my colleagues told me.

Now, this morning it is bright and sunny! A beautiful day. I have a 2 and a half hour drive today so I was really hoping it would be in good conditions.

God has blessed me so much! Thank you Lord! I have a nice car, good roads, great worship cds and I'm really excited about today.

Joy joy joy joy! The Lord is Mighty and Worthy to be praised!

Proverbs 26 verses 4 and 5

4Do not answer a fool according to his folly,

or you will be like him yourself.

5Answer a fool according to his folly,

or he will be wise in his own eyes.

Blessings to the Saints of God. This scripture always captivated me and it took me a few years to really understand the meaning. It is really pretty clearcut though. It takes discernment to follow the right course of action.

Blessed Day.

Look Not To the Right -Nor to the Left Oct 29, 2009 6:50 am

I awoke the other day with a start and heard the words: "Look not to the right, nor to the left." I saw myself with blinds on either side of my eyes, like a horse that is being directed by its rider. Pondering as to what exactly the Lord was trying to convey to me, I was directed to:

"The light of the body is the eye; if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light." (Mat. 6: 22)

Jesus had just taught his disciples how to pray, and was now elaborating on the importance of forgiveness and prayer being your private conversation with God. He explained that the Father sees the secret desires of your heart and will reward you openly.

If your focus is on worldly treasures, like men's approval or physical possessions, you may risk living in fear of losing them all. However, if God is your main focus, and you live your life to please Him, then you'll be laying up treasures in heaven. In other words, your reward will be coming from God, who wants to be your sole Provider! If you treasure what God has in store for your life, then your whole heart will be dedicated to doing His Will! (Mat. 6: 9-21)

Furthermore, God promises: "I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye." (Ps. 32: That's a beautiful description of a caring God! As you endeavor each day to put on your 'blinds' so as not to be lured to the right or the left, you can rest assured that His eyes are on you!

A horse, although it can see frontward, needs to be led by a bridle. God is not pulling on any reins! One quick glance at a parent's face will reveal instant approval or displeasure to a child. So it is with your Father. The minute you find yourself doubting or doing things in your own strength, you know when you have displeased Him.

But God has a solution! He is patient and quick to forgive your acts of disobedience. "Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy." (Ps. 33: 1

Your heavenly Father gives food for the birds and water for vegetation. No amount of worry and trying to do things your own way will improve your life. By seeking first His Kingdom and His righteousness everything you need will be provided! (Mat. 6: 25-34)

If Jesus Christ is Lord in your life, then you no longer need to act and worry as before your acknowledgement that He is the Way! His last words on the cross were: "It is finished." That means that He has not only redeemed you from sin, but has provided everything you will need to walk out His purpose for your life!

I pray this day is tender and sweet-that you would love and not hate. That you would spend time with your Father and not spend time rehearsing old wounds. Let the healing begin. We who are of Christ Jesus are secure and safe in HIS hand-no matter what the circumstances that may present themselves. We have the peace that passeth all understanding. Don't have peace? Go to the word and seek HIM. He has the answer to all problems. Blessed day!

This is a beautiful song done by various artists including Avalon. Let love abound at B.C. once again. K

Who here among us has not been broken
Who here among us is without guilt or pain
So oft' abandoned by our transgressions
If such a thing as grace exists
Then grace was made for lives like this

There are no strangers
There are no outcasts
There are no orphans of God
So many fallen, but hallelujah
There are no orphans of God

Come ye unwanted and find affection
Come all ye weary, come and lay down your head
Come ye unworthy, you are my brother
If such a thing as grace exists
Then grace was made for lives like this

There are no strangers
There are no outcasts
There are no orphans of God
So many fallen, but hallelujah
There are no orphans of God

O blessed Father, look down upon us
We are Your children, we need Your love
We run before Your throne of mercy
And seek Your face to rise above

There are no strangers
There are no outcasts
There are no orphans of God
So many fallen, but hallelujah
There are no orphans of God

Environment and Christianity (My thoughts) Oct 25, 2009 12:28 pm

There has been much scuttle about enviromentalists being idolators and "new agers". Let us consider.

We do not think of the creation as above the creator-and if we do, we are practicing something between pantheism and animism.

As Christians, in being stewards of what God has given, we are not practicing idolotry. It is a certainty though that an individual can carry an idea to the extreme. It is one each individual must address, and not just regarding this topic, but many areas including finance, sports, food, etc.

At what point does earning a living, and being a consumer stop being a virtue of integrity and become idolatry? At what point does the love of sports take people away from worshipping God?
At what point does anything become more important than our relationship with the Lord? This would be called idolotry. Our God is a jealous God! Again, watch and listen to the Holy Spirit of God, and accept his corrections.

Personally, I do not give too much thought to my part in keeping the environment simply because we as individuals are limited.
When I spend half an hour opening heavy cardboard boxes after a shopping trip to costco, I realize any attempts at leaving a smaller footprint will have to in large be started at the point of manufacturing.

Yes, I carry cloth grocery bags. I get agitated with too much plastic on our food products and excess in general packaging.

It frosts my cookies to see food fights, when so many people go hungry each day.

I will do my small part to keep my own nest clean and do my best to be a good steward over what my Father has given me.

And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. (Genesis 2:15)

Pantheism-definition-–noun 1. the doctrine that God is the transcendent reality of which the material universe and human beings are only manifestations: it involves a denial of God's personality and expresses a tendency to identify God and nature.
2. any religious belief or philosophical doctrine that identifies God with the universe.

Definition: Animism-The term animism is derived from the Latin word anima meaning breath or soul. The belief of animism is probably one of man's oldest beliefs, with its origin most likely dating to the Paleolithic age. From its earliest beginnings it was a belief that a soul or spirit existed in every object, even if it was inanimate. In a future state this soul or spirit would exist as part of an immaterial soul. The spirit, therefore, was thought to be universal.
