God has picked me up and placed my in the palm of his hand. Though the storm rages without, I am fully protected in him. He has given me his peace. I rest in him. All is well.

Sometimes It's like this. Don't let your mind imagine dubious scenarios. Instead, realize the enemy uses fear to freeze us.

The fear of the Lord is wisdom. If you have the fear of the Lord you won't have to walk bound up with worldly fear. He directs our every step. If God is for us, who can be against us?

Even for leaving this earthly realm: he will hold our hand and walk with us to our new and better home.

There's just something appealing about a superhero! I love spiderman, superman and Indiana Jones.

I want to be brave, courageous, and true. I want to save people from terror, disaster and despair.

Well, I never made it to super-hero school. I'm not that strong nor that fast. Somehow, though, God granted me this desire.

He blessed me with a heart for the lost, and brought me through unique experiences....trials and situations. He has shown me that I walk everyday in a mission field. I walk among the wounded and despairing everyday. I see the lost and hopeless.

He has given me all I need and all they need. Himself! Each word spoken and each action and decision can show the love of Christ to the lost.

So step out in your super hero clothes: the armour of God. Go out eagerly, seek out opportunities to pray for others. Esteem others above yourself. Have a servants heart, be a superhero. Love you in Christ, Heart

Anyone ever have one of those old self-patterns that you just want to be done with. It could be many things....it certainly is something buried in the back of the closet or swept under the rug.

Maybe you have asked the Lord for help to overcome, yet still are drawn back....the temptation is irresistible....only to repent again?????

You know, you can't do it/ not do it by desire. The desire to be set free is a necessity, for true. Fall down on your face before Jesus. Be desperate for him. Seek his face night and day.........don't give up.....and suddenly you will find....Jesus has done a mighty work. He did the work!!!

Be Desperate For Jesus!

Troubles and Trials often betray those,
causing the weary body to stray,
but we will walk beside the green pastures,
with the Good Shepard leading the way.

I will not heed the voice of a stranger,
for he would lead me onto despair,
but I will walk beside the still waters,
with Jesus my Savior leading me there.



This is a song I used to sing a while back. I can't remember the rest of it. Anyone know it?

My former was pretty much a cross between Harrison Ford in the "Mosquito Coast" and Robert Duvall in the "Apostle." Mad, passionate, more than a little bit crazy with a strong legalistic tendency.I must say, I loved him passionately , but finally, could not take the adultery and verbal abuse. So I left. I thought that was a better idea than the mushrooms. We won't go there, ok? Hahahahahahaha! No regrets. What a life it has been! It's only getting more interesting!

Through it all, who has been faithful to me?

Trouble is swirling about on all sides. There are family situations, situations of anger at work, situations of fear and despair and dying, it's everywhere!
God has picked me up and placed my in the palm of his hand. Though the storm rages without, I am fully protected in him. He has given me his peace. I rest in him.
Good thing too, as everyone seems to be coming to me for peace and answers. Not that I can help, other than refer them to Jesus! I feel like I'm in the Ark, safe from rising waters of trouble.
No greater love is there, than the love of Jesus!

Home, Home, it was all I could do, run and hide. Tears coursed down my face and everything was blurry. I could barely breathe. A huge lump in my throat was growing bigger..threatening to choke me, along with the dust of the streets. I didn't even care if I died! Let me die. How could they? Why would they do this to Jesus!!!!!! No! No! No! Let it all just be a bad dream. It's not. I hate them. I hate them all! May their hearts be ripped out and eaten by dogs! Ha. That is what I want. My running and my hate were becoming spent. I was almost home and alone in my alley. I leaned against the hot wall and let myself slide to the dusty earth. I picked up handfuls of earth and let it fall upon my face and sobbed quietly. I beat my head upon the wall and sobbed in despair.
No, Jesus would not want me to be so full of hate. Oh please forgive me, my Lord. Even you said,"Father forgive them, they know not what they do." I must do as he would do. I must , I must. Love ,Heart

She was my neighbor. A single lady, very nice. She was not saved. I fervently hoped and prayed for her salvation. I told her about Jesus. She told me about some new age books she liked.
Her main interest was finding a mate. She was still in love with her x-boyfriend.
One day, her x-boyfriend came and moved in.
She was thrilled! For the next few weeks I didn't see her as much, she was occupied.
She called and said he was gone, she kicked him out. Drinking, depression, it's why it didn't work the first time.
I noticed one day, this man working his way through the woods in back. My neighbor was not home. He appeared to be under the influence and was breaking in to her townhouse. I called the police. When they came he was already gone.
About ten hours later, I walked over to my friend's place and there she was and there he was.
I said, "when I saw you breaking in here this morning I called the police." He was not at all upset. He said, that's ok, Rhonda, I would too.
He proceeded to tell me that he had walked about twenty miles and found a tract on the side of the road. When he read this tract......Jesus did something to him. We talked for several hours and I spoke with a man who accepted the Lord Jesus as his savior. Tears streamed down our faces and my friend just looked confused by this whole thing.
That was in 1997. They have been married now since then, as they were married right away! They are both strong in the Lord. They are my dear friends, we have been through a lot together, and the Lord has brought us all through much.
I know I'll hear about this......every once in a while when I'm driving down this highway....I just roll down my window....take a tract... and let it fly!!!!!Love, Heart
