Trouble is swirling about on all sides. Times are perilous. There is a whirlwind of principalities.
God has picked me up and placed my in the palm of his hand. Though the storm rages without, I am fully protected in him. He has given me his peace. I rest in him. All is well.

WHOSE VOICE THEN SHOOK THE EARTH: BUT NOW HE HATH PROMISED, SAYING, YET ONCE MORE I SHAKE NOT THE EARTH ONLY, BUT ALSO HEAVEN.

And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of thos things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and Godly fear:

For our God is a consuming fire. Hebrews 12 26-29

Prayer From the Gut May 31, 2007 7:01 am

Heavenly Father,
I bow to you this day, Mighty King. To you, my Beautiful Savior, I submit, in each step I take, each word I speak, each prayer I utter. I love you Father. Praise and honor and glory to you!

Lord, I ask that your will be done. I ask this Lord, that the heresies and the false will be shut up. Your law is perfect, converting the soul. Your statutes are clean and pure, your judgements true and righteous, they are more desired than gold and sweeter than honey.
By these are your servants warned, and your promises true.

Let me hear from you this day, O my King. My heart cries out Lord, not for myself...but for those without. To those who are believing a lie, let their ears be unstopped, let their eyes be opened. Let the blind now see. To your glory, Lord. Let me call out Mercy! Mercy is your name. Let it rain down on the deceived. Lord, let the captives be set free. I stand in the gap, unworthly but yet righteous in you. I hold you to your promise, My King. Reveal yourself with healing O Holy one. I call out to you for her, and for him, and for them. My love is too small for your little ones. Please forgive me, please increase my love to the selfish and unlovely. Let me have enough love to hold up to you the lost. Lord, I love you. I thank you. My love.
My precious. In Jesus name, Amen.

Why Am I So Happy? May 29, 2007 7:28 pm
Mood: 54, 301 Views
Always been a happy person. Extreme circumstances never interfered much with my happiness.

When in the late seventies I had to have a surgery, the second day of recovery the nurse came in and asked, "you still haven't had any visitors?" I responded, "No." When she left I lay there thinking she looked like she pitied me. Yet I did not pity myself. I was very comfortable and I was good. I guess my Husband probably should have come visit me, but he did not. I bore no grudge. Why should I choose bondage?

When in 1992 I was given an job interpreting for a nice salary, and told the next day they had changed their mind and gave it to someone else, I was asked over and over, "aren't you mad about that." Being mad never actually occured to me.

I could go on. I consider myself to be extremely blessed. As far as I'm concerned everything goes my way. God spoils me actually. Sometimes when I throw a fit, even, for silly things, he relents. I now have decided that I get what I get and I don't throw a fit. He is soooooo good to me.

Last night I had a vision,an answer: the cure for my daughter and her physical pain. She accepted this and we had wonderful prayer today and once again, blessings.

The Lord opened up a potential new door of ministry for me, this we shall wait on. Ed and I have discussed it and we shall see. If another door opens to this I will go in, perhaps.

My dear Husband says that the joy of the Lord is my strength. It is a rare time when I don't 100% agree with him and I agree with this.

Yesterday, I mentioned that I would like to have a good massage-professional.When I talked to one of my daughter's yesterday, because she was flying to New York for ten days, she said, "Mom, for a late birthday present I want you to have a massage on me! No one told her that I had wanted one! Told you I'm spoiled. .

I guess, I am copying after Paul. Not that I speak in respect of want; for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound; everywhere and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Philippians 11-13

I am now abounding, yet there have been times of complete and utter poverty. Whatever he gives, I accept.
Praise to My KING!

Bellies With Stars, No- Not Piercings May 29, 2007 7:30 am

Bellies With Stars

THE SNEETCHES
by Dr. Suess

Now the Star-bellied Sneetches had bellies with stars.
The Plain-bellied Sneetches had none upon thars.
The stars weren't so big; they were really quite small.
You would think such a thing wouldn't matter at all.
But because they had stars, all the Star-bellied Sneetches
would brag, "We're the best kind of Sneetch on the beaches."

With their snoots in the air, they would sniff and they'd snort, "
We'll have nothing to do with the plain-bellied sort."
And whenever they met some, when they were out walking,
they'd hike right on past them without even talking.

When the Star-bellied children went out to play ball,
could the Plain-bellies join in their game? Not at all!
You could only play ball if your bellies had stars,
and the Plain-bellied children had none upon thars.

When the Star-bellied Sneetches had frankfurter roasts,
or picnics or parties or marshmallow toasts,
they never invited the Plain-bellied Sneetches.
Left them out cold in the dark of the beaches.
Kept them away; never let them come near,
and that's how they treated them year after year.

Then one day, it seems, while the Plain-bellied Sneetches
were moping, just moping alone on the beaches,
sitting there, wishing their bellies had stars,
up zipped a stranger in the strangest of cars.

"My friends, " he announced in a voice clear and keen,
"My name is Sylvester McMonkey McBean.
I've heard of your troubles; I've heard you're unhappy.
But I can fix that; I'm the fix-it-up chappie.
I've come here to help you; I have what you need.
My prices are low, and I work with great speed,
and my work is one hundred per cent guaranteed."

Then quickly, Sylvester McMonkey McBean
put together a very peculiar machine.
Then he said, "You want stars like a Star-bellied Sneetch?
My friends, you can have them . . . . for three dollars each.
Just hand me your money and climb on aboard."

They clambered inside and the big machine roared.
It bonked. It clonked. It jerked. It berked.
It bopped them around, but the thing really worked.
When the Plain-bellied Sneetches popped out, they had stars!
They actually did, they had stars upon thars!

Then they yelled at the ones who had stars from the start,
"We're exactly like you; you can't tell us apart.
We're all just the same now, you snooty old smarties.
Now we can come to your frankfurter parties!"

"Good grief!" groaned the one who had stars from the first.
"We're still the best Sneetches, and they are the worst.
But how in the world will we know," they all frowned,
"if which kind is what or the other way 'round?"

Then up stepped McBean with a very sly wink, and he said,
"Things are not quite as bad as you think.
You don't know who's who, that is perfectly true.
But come with me, friends, do you know what I'll do?
I'll make you again the best Sneetches on beaches,
and all it will cost you is ten dollars eaches.

Belly stars are no longer in style, " said McBean.
"What you need is a trip through my stars-off machine.
This wondrous contraption will take off your stars,
so you won't look like Sneetches who have them on thars."

That handy machine, working very precisely,
removed all the stars from their bellies quite nicely.
Then, with snoots in the air, they paraded about.
They opened their beaks and proceeded to shout,
"We now know who's who, and there isn't a doubt,
the best kind of Sneetches are Sneetches without."

Then, of course those with stars all got frightfully mad.
To be wearing a star now was frightfully bad.
Then, of course old Sylvester McMonkey McBean
invited them into his stars-off machine.
Then, of course from then on, you can probably guess,
things really got into a horrible mess.

All the rest of the day on those wild screaming beaches,
the Fix-it-up-Chappie was fixing up Sneetches.
Off again, on again, in again, out again,
through the machine and back round about again,
still paying money, still running through,
changing their stars every minute or two,
until neither the Plain- nor the Star-bellies knew
whether this one was that one or that one was this one
or which one was what one or what one was who!

Then, when every last cent of their money was spent,
the Fix-It-Up-Chappie packed up and he went.
And he laughed as he drove in his car up the beach,
"They never will learn; no, you can't teach a Sneetch!"

But McBean was quite wrong, I'm quite happy to say,
the Sneetches got quite a bit smarter that day.
That day, they decided that Sneetches are Sneetches,
and no kind of Sneetch is the BEST on the beaches.
That day, all the Sneetches forgot about stars,
and whether they had one or not upon thars.

Out Of The Box May 29, 2007 7:15 am

Here is a little experiment. I try this sometimes with my students just to check them out. Give someone a piece of plain white typing paper and two inches from the edges draw a bold black line all around the perameter. Ask the person to draw on this paper. Do they stay in the box? Just for fun, that's all.

Bless your day, Saints! Glory to the Name of the Lord!

Our Father which art in Heaven, Hallowed by thy name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil; for thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever, Amen.

The Wisdom of Yogi May 29, 2007 6:50 am

The cartoons coming out today don't seem to have a point. At least not that I can tell. Yet, I admit, they have very little appeal to me.

I have watched spongeBob Squarepants. If you are unfamiliar with this one, it is a square yellow sponge with (go figure) square pants on. He lives in a pineapple under the sea and has some insignificant adventures down there. Hmmmmmmm.

Then there seems to be a whole new genre which is commonly referred to as "japanamation". One of the more popular of this genre is SailorMoon.
Check out what this is about:

Sailor Moon X is the series that takes place right after part one of Sailor Moon R. It is the story about Hades God of the Underworld, as he try's to steal energy from the souls of caring people, to help him gain a body of flesh and bone, and to take over the world! To accomplish this he has summoned the help of the Six Ninja's of the Night Hood. Sailor Moon with the help of the Scouts must stop Hades's and the Six Ninja's, but when the Six Ninja's put the Four Scouts out of commission, all seems lost for Sailor Moon, until a new figure appears out of the blackness to help her at her side. Nobody can figure out who she is or where she comes from? Luna & Artemis suspect she is...you get the idea. Online resource search.

Sheesh! Whatever happened to the cute little bear with one goal; the singleminded persuit of the picanik basket? I admire a bear who knows what he wants. I admire singlemindedness of purpose, and simplicity.

Let us be as Yogi, singlemindedly following our call and let us be fishers of men!

Time is short. Hold fast!

Man Made Doctrines of Eternal Salvation May 28, 2007 10:38 am

1.if a person believes once saved always saved, this will not prevent him entering heaven and enjoying eternal fellowship with the Father.

2.if a person believes you can lose or give up eternal security this does not prevent them entering in and enjoying eternal fellowship with the Father.

To cut to the chase, this topic comes up time and time again, and the working it over seems to send the opponents into their corner, the bell rings and it's round four of the fight.

This topic may be interesting to those trying to decide what they believe, otherwise, it is a devisive topic.

It would be most profitable to lift the name of the Lord and Praise our King.

The Sad Tale of the Three Little Pigs ( as told by me) May 27, 2007 9:44 am
254 Views
Once upon a time there were three little pigs.
They were brothers. Their mother told her three little piggies one day, "My dear little piglets, you're hogs now, so you need to build yourselves a stout and sturdy house because you know that ravening wolf is always about, seeking whom he may eat up!

So off they went, the three pigs. The first little pig, (whose name was Jakey)found a beautiful bunch of pretty yellow straw. Well, thought Jakey, this is fluffy and pretty to look on, this is the stuff I will use to build my house. It's tickly on my ears, and soft upon my skin, yes, this is the right stuff! But it came to pass, that the fowls of the air began to eat at the house and devoured it up.

So the second little pig,(whose name was Delly)
found a seller of sticks, and fashioned his new house of the same. This house was built on stony ground, so when the sun came up and beat down upon the green sticks, they withered away, and gave no protection during times of attack.

So then, the third little pig (whose name was pious} built his house of brick. The brick, he thought, was strong enough, and preferred in the
temples of the day. Yet, there were many thorns it seems who grew thick and wiry and strong. So that it pushed the slimy mortar out between the bricks and left huge holes between the stones and the house was built according to tradition, and yet it bore no fruit.

It was so that all these built with that which withers and fades and decays.
There is that with which we can build, that no enemy can enter, no huffing, no puffing, no amount of strategy and fine beguiling will crack the walls of our fortress, for HE-JESUS is our strong tower!

For other foundation can no man lay, than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; every man's work shall be made manifest; for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.1 Cor. 3 verses 11-13
