I'm really not going political here, but just thought this information needed to be shared. Many of you most likely already know this but for those who don't, you may be interested.

President Bush went to war with the explicit authority of the U.S. congress, which legitimized the Iraq war in terms of U.S. domestic law. Many Americans believe the US Congress is the ultimate authority and that its approval resolves all legal objections to the war. Yet the war is inherently illegal under international law, which the US helped to create. Something has to give here, these two notions cannot co-exist.

Until 2003 both the theory and practice of international law was coming to accept that the use of force would be legitimate (legal) only under two conditions: first, if it is used as an act of self-defense, and second: if it is authorized by the UN security council. It did not happen. Hitherto, both the US and UK have been the main custodians of international law. Excerpts from "The New Asian Hemisphere".

Go figure, this creates global cynicism and disillusionment.
Now, we know that there is a spiritual enmity between much of the West and those who are descendants of Abraham through Ishmael in the middle east. This is clear to understand and we need only look at the ensample of the Bible story of Sarah, Hagar, Ishmael and Isaac. Yes, this enmity has been going on a long, long time. Yet the blunders we have made are not helping endear us to anyone, let alone the Muslim nations. Hence, the more we carry on, the more fear is generated because we have stirred up so much hatred. We have every right to be fearful. Not in the spiritual sense, only in the natural realm. God's plan is fully underway. Let us watch and listen for the voice of our shepherd. We are a nation within a nation. Not an Obamanation, not a Bushnation, but a Holy Nation!
