God has picked me up and placed my in the palm of his hand. Though the storm rages without, I am fully protected in him. He has given me his peace. I rest in him. All is well.

Often, when I refer to Western policies, some will respond that American policies naturally dominate. But there is also an implicit compact between American and Europe as well as with the Anglo-Saxon states of Canada, Australia and New Zealand on global policies. One of the least understood and surprisingly least studied phenomena is how often the west functions as a single entity on global issues.

When many Western eyes peer into the twenty first century, they see only dark images,not a new dawn in the history of human civilization.

In 1920,as secretary for war and air, Winston Churchill had responsibility for quelling the rebellion of Kurds and Arabs in british occupied Iraq, which he achieved by authorizing the use of poison gas. He said, "I am strongly in favor of using poisoned gas against uncivilized tribes." If Blair had tried the same thing in 2003, he would have been crucified. The world has moved on from this era. Western mindsets have not abandoned the old assumption that an army of Christian soldiers can invade, occupy and transform an Islamic society.

The number of people in the world who are seeking the western dream of a comfortable middle class existence has never been higher. Now more and more people believe this dream is within their reach. This universalization of the western dream should represent a moment of triumph for the west.

Yet the West is afraid. "The West is in effect using international institutions, military power and economic resources to run the world in ways that maintain Western predominance, protect Western interests and promote Western political and economic values."Sam Huntington.

Western minds believe that the 12 percent in the West can dominate the remaining 88% who live outside the West.

Now, for my words: There is a new world order coming, we all know this from a non-secular view and from a secular view it is even really more alarming. It is coming. We have though, with our global police mindset, ostracized much of the world. As the Author of this book said, we cannot expect to invade an islamic nation to "liberate" them and expect them to shower rose petals under the soldiers feet. President Elect Obama will get the troop out of Iraq in the next several years, make amends with much of the world we have ostracized, and will stand in place as the new world hero. The West will again become an entity to look up to and emulate. I will be posting more as I learn more.
Spiritually, this is a whole different ballgame, and prophesy is being fulfilled right before our eyes. Dear Saints, watch, pray.
