Trouble is swirling about on all sides. Times are perilous. There is a whirlwind of principalities.
God has picked me up and placed my in the palm of his hand. Though the storm rages without, I am fully protected in him. He has given me his peace. I rest in him. All is well.

Jesus is Lord!

Hello Saints of God,
Just woke up this morning knowing that magnificent things are in the future. I am very excited deep down inside! Praise the Lord!
We are so blessed to be in the hands of the Father! What comes is the will of our Father.

I have not even been able to log in to B.C. on a daily basis due to time constraints but I'm grateful for the time I am able to interact and fellowship.

Yesterday was a day of errands and I had the grandchildren. It was fun but I could not help but noticing the state of the world. It becomes more and more apparent each and every passing day. This is I'm afraid, just the beginning. I chose to not be sucked in knowing full well that the Lord has my back.

I found a yard sale! Did not expect to find much, but was just delighted to find one. The lady who had the sale was whining and became very disgruntled when I did not purchase all the items I picked up as items of interest. She made some snotty comments and said she bought all of her items at Macy's or Nordstrom so people should be snapping them up! I didn't say anything, but if I don't care for something I won't spend any amount of money of it.

Then, as I was waiting for three teen agers to cross the street so I could make my right turn, they found it necessary to make faces at me and entertain me. Not in a good spirit I might add.

I stayed poker faced and didn't give them their anticipated reward of responding. This is something I would never dream of doing as a young person. People are very disgruntled and angry and rebellious.

At my last stop, I mentioned Christmas because the stores are full of Christmas merchandise. He said he didn't celebrate because his wife is a witch. We chatted and he helped my load the car with purchases so I asked him if it ever bothered him spiritually that his wife is a witch. I was hoping for anything that may lead to a word of hope for him. He said,"no, it doesn't bother me a bit." He explained his wife doesn't have any family and no-one ever bought her a gift anyway. Obviously, the wiccans zoomed in on a lonely woman and gave her something that fills a need.

I have noticed that in the Harry Potter series the main story line is a boy unloved and unwanted with no personal power who captures the heart of the literary audience and then when the power of witchcraft enables him to get revenge and have control the audience cheers and agrees with the craft.

How many of our young people today come from broken homes and no role model in the home? They had absolutely no control over their circumstances. They arrive home to a dark house to do some virtual killing (video games) and sit as in a coma- staring at the box of violence. With no spiritual guidance, and little guidance at all, is it any wonder that these young people are angry-rebellious and so easily led to the dark side for answers?

While God has led me to ministry with the youth today, and often to great spiritual battles, I am ever grateful and rejoice that if I may have touched one-just one- I have been used in service to the KING. I see so many on here with wonderful ministries and see you making a difference! Continue on no matter what circumstances may appear to be and how grim things may look. The Bible says it will appear that the enemy has won, but it is not so! We know that Christ rules and the Victory is sure. Hold on Saints of God, for the hour comes.

There is banter and fear surrounding some of our basic freedoms.

It is important to know where we stand so we don't lose any more of our rights.

I speak specifically of our children's right to worship and pray at school.

My daughter was called to the office and scolded by her teacher for sharing the word at school. She was threatened that if she did it again, she would be in real trouble. Since she never gets in trouble and is a straight A student it shook her up--but not as much as it riled me up. I quickly printed out a seven page report on her rights and told her to keep it with her at school.

Then I received a phone call from the teacher who was already back-stepping. I informed her that my daughter can pray, lead prayers, carry her Bible and discuss her beliefs. The only thing is-she cannot do all of this during instructional time.

Had we accepted what they were telling us without checking things out, it would have further established (in this school) that we have fewer and fewer rights.

We should push it to the limit. My student just did a project on Jesus, and concluded that Jesus brings salvation, faith and love. It was wonderful. GBU Saints.
