I certainly have.

I have seen the children of God bloom and mature.

I have seen some mellow out.

I have seen some learn to roll with the punches and not take things to heart so much.

I have seen some readjust and grow.

I have seen breakthroughs!

I have seen a marked improvement in writing skills- hahahahaha.

I will not mention names and embarrass anyone, but I'm sure you may have someone in mind 'bout now.

I sorely hope that all are growing, because if we become comfortable in one position and don't move...uh oh, watch out.

Let us never become complacent, or too comfortable to be able to hear new directions.

Knowing the voice of our Dear Savior, and hanging on HIS every word.

I just this week discovered there is a water park only a fifteen minute drive from our house! I am more than happy, I am ecstatic- even if it is a very small waterpark. We went Sunday and we're going Thursday, too.

It is so much fun. I ended up with a sunburn on my back, but noone else got a burn. I should have had someone put lotion on my back.

They also sell hotdogs, burgers, nachos, smoothies, etc. etc. Plus*****there is a panoramic view of the mountains!

Praise God for HE created a wondrous playground.

My daughter coined the phrase:

The grown-up playground bully. That is to me, a cute way to look at it, but truthfully it is only our own selves who can render this torment.
By allowing it.

It is-in a word, guilt.

Sure others try it. Mothers try to lay it on their children. "Don't worry about me now, you go have fun for the weekend while I lay here in this hospital bed."

Spouses try to gain from the use of guilt at times as well. " No dear, you go golfing while I clean out the clogged sewer line-I just hope this headache dosen't get any worse!"

What it really is though, is self torment. Repeating over and over our failure to ourselves, mentally flogging ourselves and stealing from the moment any joy and praise becauese we borrow the trouble from the past.

There have been those who literally, physically flog themselves in various ways. Sometimes it is in subtle ways of never choosing the best way because the mindset says they are unworthy.

I have seen it over and over again. It is a vicious cycle. It can be stopped.

Truly it could be said to be a form of narcissism. No matter what has happened, or what someone has done, the shed blood of Jesus Christ has covered us. Our sins are forgiven and there is no remembrance of it. So why do people bring it back up? Why waste precious moments rehashing past decisions when there are new decisions to make today. Right now. A new day the Lord has given us. Hallelujah! Let us step up to it with love and hope and thanksgiving.

This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Amen. Bless you Saints of God.

There’s an expression, the pot calling the kettle black. It refers to someone claiming a sin in others which is at least as prevalent--if not more so--in the accuser than it is in the accused.

JUDGEMENT

There are scriptural guidelines for judging.
Judgments for those of us who are Christians, should come prayerfully, only after we have consulted the moral teachings of Scripture and prayed for Spirit-informed discernment. Anyone can have opinions. Opinions are often fueled by anger, fear, jealousy and any number of circumstance, mood, etc. Making judgments is the hard work of responsible and loving people.

"Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful." Colossians 3:12-15
Nobody with a beam in his own eye can see things very clearly. They are dangerously low on godly discernment.
We need either to be very humble or if we are not, leave judging to God alone. We have a moral responsibility to judge the moral behavior of others—but only if we are humbly aware that we will sometimes be dead wrong and never totally right. We must remember that our ability to judge is limited and especially that we are sinful people who will ourselves, one day, come under judgment.

I think so.
My eleven yr. old grand-daughter got an ipod for her birthday. There was much discussion about which computer the ipod should call home.
Mama's computer has smashing pumpkins and other music that I am unfamiliar with but I know I would'nt enjoy. Daddy's computer has country western crying in your beer stuff which-been there, done that a long long time ago. It was decided to go with Daddy's computer.

Daddy just couldn't get it figured out. He does computer engineering for a living. Hmmmmmm. So guess what? She brought her ipod to my house and I hooked her up! Solid praise and worship! I thank God it all worked out like it did.Hallelujah!

Music has a powerful influence on children and everyone.

We love to give out cd players and Christian music to those in nursing homes. I was able to give one to my uncle in his last two months. He did not have long and he was a Christian, but I think it was a great comfort for him to hear the praises of our King so he could prepare. He was a young 75 but had cancer.

Our God is so good! Hallelujah!

Sometimes, as I walk this path God has shown me to follow, I notice a bit of work to be done in the orchard. My Grandfather was an orcharder, and spent his whole life tending the trees and fruit. I remember the "smudge pots" coming out when it was a hard frost to save the trees. I remember getting lost in the row upon row of apple and peach and cherry trees. Grandpa knew all there was to know about keeping the orchard up. In my orchard, it is not my work, but God's work. I only need to speak with him if I need a bit of pruning, watering, bug killing, etc. I need to be prayerful and watchful as the orchard keeper. Occasionally, some passerby will holler out,
"Hey, those trees over there look bad. God's not going to be happy with you!" As I look up and observe them pass, I see the heart and know the spirit. I resist yelling back:
"Hey, your trees are full of weeds and have some blight too! And they're ugly!"
Instead, I may say, "Thank you for noticing. I'll see to this."

Occasionally a passerby will stop, peer in and enter my orchard. They will call to me, Hello my friend. How are you?"
We will walk together in the orchard and enjoy some fruit. Occasionally, one of us will notice a weed and bend down and pluck it up. We smile and praise the King of Kings, the Lord of Glory.
Amen!

The fruit of the Spirit is a physical manifestation of a Christian's transformed life. In order to mature as believers, we should study and understand the attributes of the ninefold fruit:

Love - "And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him" (1 John 4:16). Through Jesus Christ, our greatest goal is to do all things in love. "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails" (1 Corinthians 13:4-.

Joy - "The joy of the Lord is your strength" (Nehemiah 8:10). "Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God" (Hebrews 12:2).

Peace - "Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ" (Romans 5:1). "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit" (Romans 15:13).

Long suffering (patience) -- We are "strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and long suffering with joyfulness" (Colossians 1:11). "With all lowliness and meekness, with long suffering, forbearing one another in love" (Ephesians 4:2).

Gentleness (kindness) -- We should live "in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love; in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left" (2 Corinthians 6:6-7).

Goodness - "Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power" (2 Thessalonians 1:11). "For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth" (Ephesians 5:9).

Faith (faithfulness) - "O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth" (Isaiah 25:1). "I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith" (Ephesians 3:16-17).

Meekness - "Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted" (Galatians 6:1). "With all lowliness and meekness, with long suffering, forbearing one another in love" (Ephesians 4:2).

Temperance (self-control) - "But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love" (2 Peter 1:5-7).from: All About God.

1.Sitting where you are, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles.

2. While doing this, draw the number six in the air with your right hand.

Can you do it? Probably not, because the way our brain is wired it does not allow. I'm thinking a person could practice a long time and learn to do it, but, whoa! Why would they. Ok, silly me. Sorry. Love you Saints.

Blessed be the Lord, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth. Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped. Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth" (Psalm 124:6-.

You've heard of fowlers. They were professional bird-catchers in the days before firearms. They captured birds by spreading a net on the ground and attaching it to a springed trap or snare.

The fowler would put some corn on the ground near the trap he set. Then, when the bird ate the corn, the trap would spring and a net would fly over the bird and capture it.

Various passages throughout the Bible liken our soul to a bird: "Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped" (Psalm 124). "Mine heritage is unto me as a speckled bird..." (Jeremiah 12:9).

Satan is absolutely determined to overthrow every believer in Jesus Christ.

He (satan,) will work through people too, even so called Christians.

Some Christians can't stand being "outstripped" by someone who appears to be more holy or righteous than they. They see a brother or sister being honored of God - and it enrages them!

There is great power in godliness and great authority in holiness. Yet both are despised by Christians who will not pay the price - people who once had the touch of God, but now, because of compromise, no longer enjoy His blessing. When someone comes along who is esteemed more holy and more devoted, they become envious of what they've lost. They give place to a jealous hatred - and they will not rest until they see that godly person ruined or destroyed!

Face it, beloved: Nothing is more hated than the power and spiritual authority that accompany a holy life. And no one will be more hated, slandered, envied and maligned than the Christian who radiates holiness.

Yet, if our hearts are right with God, and we see great devotion in a fellow believer, we will rejoice in the power and authority God has bestowed on him. And we will allow that brother's consecrated life to challenge and provoke us to attain a deeper walk with the Lord.

As I took a first aid class last a few weeks ago, I learned that when we get injured, everything pulls to center. This is to protect our main organs. We get increased blood flow etc. etc. right to the main core. A protective stance. I don't know how to say this well, off the top of my head, with no medical background at all; But it occured to me too, that when we are wounded in ways other than physical, the same type of response occurs. We pull in to center, to protect ourselves and our focus is removed from Jesus and all things that glorify our Lord. Now, we will not let the fowler (satan) trap us. We will Glorify the Lord, and be wise as serpents and gentle as doves.

Let us show love and rejoice in one another with great joy because we are Kings Kids. Blesssed be the name of the Lord!

It strikes suddenly and without warning. Piercing into the heart of man.

Sometimes literally, terror strikes. For Israel, it is an everyday very valid possibility. Not only Israel, but many, many nations see Mothers in daily fear for their children's lives.

In America, we are fortunate to have seen very little terrorism in comparison to what others indure.

Most assuredly, things have changed for us in this past decade. We all watch a bit closer and know we are not exempt.

This is fallen man. It is spoken of quite frequently in the bible. What will we do?
Some say move away from the city and start a survival situation. Some say politics can change the course. There is no answer in either choice.

No matter where we are in the world, no matter what country, what political uprising, no matter what amount of poverty and sickness and warring
that may occur there is one answer.

You're ahead of me here, I know. We have a strong tower! We may pad ourselves with supplies and ammo, and in that day we will fall! We can dive into worldly endeavors to create a false sense of security-only to find this will cause us to lose sight of our Lord.

All that is- will increase, with the wicked waxing worse and worse.
1: This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2: For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3: Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4: Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5: Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

6: For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

7: Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

13: But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.2 Tim. Chapter 3

Yes, the bible speaks of what will be, but moreso, the bible speaks to us as a Father reassures his child, bringing us hope and peace.

The godly offer good counsel -they know what is right from wrong. They fill their hearts with God’s law so they will never slip from His path.
Those who are evil spy on the godly, waiting for an excuse to kill them. But the Lord will not let the wicked succeed, or let the godly be condemned when they are brought before the judge.
I myself have seen it happen-proud and evil people thriving like mighty trees. But when I looked again, they were gone! Though I searched for them, I could not find them!
Look at those who are honest and good, for a wonderful future lies before those who love peace. But the wicked will be destroyed; they have no future. The Lord saves the godly; He is their fortress in times of trouble. The Lord helps them, rescuing them from the wicked. He saves them, and they find shelter in Him.
Psalm 37:30-40

The peace of God. Praise HIM!

Just pondering. Obviously not all will be raptured. Sad but true.

Today on the way to the city we saw a car that said:
"In case of rapture, take my car." That was nice, but it was an older model. Made me think. So if there are lots and lots of cars with keys and no owners---is it stealing to take the car?
I suppose the unraptured relatives would have first dibbs.

So that really got me thinking. If things are up for grabs--would unraptured earthlings take a lot of cars and set up a used car lot and make money? Probably, since they are not saved. Or probably not. Hmmm.

Anyway, the topic made us laugh. Think about it.
