This maybe a bit too much for some of the squimish here but the story is true and the names have been changed to protect the innocent!
There wa a certain man who was really hungry yesterday afternoon and decided to call his favorite pizza joint to order some food. Well before sliping on his pants and shoes to go get his food order he went into the bathroom to tidy up and splashed his face with some water and then virgoriously wiped his face dry with a towel. Did I mention that this guy is kinda old and doesn't catch on to things very quickley if at all? Well as he was walking through the alley he decided to call one of his favorite little Aussie thingamagigs and as he was talking to her he was thinking in the back of his mind "what is that small blur below my left eye?" Being the old guy that he is he soon forgot about it and walked over to the crowded pizza joint and stood at the front counter talking to just about anybody that was unfortunate to have to be there at that time. He couldn't understand why they all seemed to be looking down at his nose while he was gabbing away with them but being the old guy he is he didn't give it much thought.
Well finaily his order came up and as he walked out into the sunlight once again he became aware of that annoying little blur just below the left side of his eye again but this he actualy engaged his brain and wiped his hand over his nose only to feel something very small and rubbery that rolled into a tiny little ball and he thinks mercifuly fell off of his face Now there weren't a million questions running through his mind at that moment of time to just what this might have been that was plaster right on the left side of his nose right below the left eye for the whole world to see in fact there was only one and he had to finaly come to the realization for his own sanity and peace of mine that he was normal and was sure this has happened to other people all the time they prolly just don't broadcast it on the world wide web for others to know about it
I goggled up types of Witch craft and this is all I could find....(3.1) Fortune telling (3.2) Interpreters (3.3) Spiritism (3.4) Seances (3.5) Palmistry (3.6) Cartomancy (3.7) Pyromancy (3. Mirror Mantic (3.9) Psychometry (3.10) Tea cup reading (3.11) Geomancy (3.12) Arithmancy (3.13) Aeromancy (3.14) Capnomancy (3.15) Rhapsodmancy (3.16) Augury (3.17) Ouija Board
I didn't see tithing there so I have to assume that anyone who would consider it as a form of witch craft is only voicing their personal opinion and really don't have the facts right. You may not support the local church in either your attendance or your giving and that is your right but please don't go on in a tirade about it as being evil or something God isn't pleased with because I' afraid you don't have any basis for that! The local church and it's Pastors, elders, deacons, sunday school teachers, ushers the children ministries, the parking lot attendants, and even the custodians are there only because of their love for God and their desire to help others in knowing His love too! I praise God for my church, for all Godly churches, and all the men and women that have unselfishly gave of their time to help minster to the needs of others. None of this should be taken for granted or especially thought of in some evil way! Churches cost money to build, maintain, and operate and they wouldn't exist without the congregation giving to them as unto the Lord and doing it cheerfully so if you are of the opinion as some here are that it is wrong to give to the local church then please by all means stay home and hang onto your filthy Luger God certainly doesn't need it!
On one of my most recent post beautiful sweet Lisa [OceanbluedoubleO7] had this to say......So the question might really be God honoring their vows of marriage!! I know we marry ourselves and a priest or pastor blesses the union.....but I don't know how to answer this question......because.....it's my mother's fault.....take for example being stranded on an island, a man and a woman, no way to get off the island.....they're there for years.....my mother told me in the eyes of God it would be wrong to exist as one.....they would need to be married.......so I'm baffled by that!!! Geeee, how can I say my mother is wrong.....don't they always say listen to your mother....ya mother knows best????
Do you think this would be true? Are there any scriptures in the Bible we can draw from? What if no help ever came couldn't those two make their vows before God and trust that He accepted them as married? Unless those two people were Ken and Rod of course
OK let's just suppose that a cruise ship sinks somewhere in the remotest part of the Pacific ocean and the only survivors are the most beautiful and voluptuous desirable woman on the entire planet who is a masseuse by trade and a culinary chef by hobby and also happens to be the most humble, loving, caring, submissive woman since Eve and the other is me of course Hey it's my fantasy. Now years have gone by with not never a ship or plane passing by and we have come to the conclusion that help will never come and she has finally been worn down I mean has accepted my proposal to marry me. Don't you think God would accept and bless our vows of love to marry each other without a Priest or Pastor there to officiate? Isn't God good and would take into account we can't have someone there to marry us? Wouldn't He look down and think....boy that little dude sure got lucky! Wouldn't we or me at least be able to quote Roms 8:28 with a smile all the days of my life? Please be careful how you answer this because if it doesn't turn out like I hope then I'm going to end it all and jump into the shark infested waters.
I was listing to a Bible questions answered radio call in show this afternoon and a mother called in asking the Pastors a diffitcult question concerning her son. Her son is engaged to be married to a young woman who has a unnamed disability which requires a lot of doctor visits and hospitalization and expensive mdeications. She is currently under her fathers medical plan which is covering almost $10,000 medical costs per month but when she gets married she will lose all that and her future husband can't meet the necesary needs that her medical problems requires. Her question was would God honor a marriage that was done in private before family and friends and not through the normal process of having it go through the state records? The Pastors both agreed that this was a very diffitcult question one that they have never encounter before and couldn't give her an answer only stating that it would be deciving the insurance company by keeping it private and out of state records which of course they would immediaetly cancel her much needed health coverage. They understood why the question was being asked but in the end said they couldn't tell her what to do but to seek God's will in this through much prayer.
I know some would say either not to marry or do it like eveyone else and have it documented through the hall of records but lets just say this is your son or daughter then what would you advise. This question was asked today so please keep these familys in your prayers. I really don't know what I would advise my sons if they were in this medical nightmare situation.
When there's a serious accident and cars are banged up and people's bodies are battered, cut, bleeding, and lying there in the street, there are two types of emergency vehicles that arrive on the scene. The first to arrive is usually the police, and their job is to develop a safety zone to control the traffic. Then they get out their pads and look at the positions of the cars. They measure the skid marks and start interviewing witnesses.
Their job is to find out who violated the law. Who's to blame for this tragedy? Their chief concern is to determine what laws were violated and who is at fault for what happened.
The second type of vehicle contains the paramedics. They could care less who is to blame. There are people bleeding in the street. Their job is to minister to those bleeding people, check the heart monitor, put bandages on them, look to see if there are broken bones, get them on the stretcher, and lift them into the ambulance. They're not thinking about whose fault it is. They aren't there to cast blame. They're there to help those who are hurting.
Now, there are also two types of ministries that I've observed. Those that take the attitude of the policeman. They come upon the tragedies, the broken lives, and they get out the code book. They're going to read you the law. "You have the right to remain silent, but anything you say may be used against you." They're on the scene in a very legal way trying to find out who's at fault, who's to blame, and to read the law.
But then there are those ministers who are more like the paramedics, and who aren't so concerned with who broke the law, but how they can heal. How can we help? How can we minister to the broken body, this broken life? How can we put things back together? How can we bring healing?
Now here in the account in John 8 are the Pharisees. They have the code book out. "Our Law says stone her. What do you say?" But Jesus was interested in ministering to her, helping her, putting her life back together, not condemning, "Neither do I condemn thee." His desire was to put her back on the road again.
We seek to minister to the hurting people. Our desire is to see them restored, back on their feet, functioning again. John tells us that the Law came by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. If I am to be a minister of Jesus Christ, then I must be ministering grace. As we look at churches, and as we look at ministry, we see many who are principally ministers of Moses. They are very harsh and legalistic. The Law has been broken, and they will tell you exactly what the Law says. And, yet, we find Jesus saying, "Whoever is without sin first cast the stone,... neither do I condemn thee."
It's been our joy and our privilege to be able to restore many who were condemned by the law. I do believe that before restoration, there must be true repentance. I believe that the Law was intended as a schoolmaster to bring people to Jesus Christ. Those who have not come and repented need the Law, thus there is a place for the Law. It is holy, righteous, and good, if used lawfully. But I think sometimes we go beyond and want to exact the penalties of the Law after there has been repentance. We aren't willing to restore. Jesus stood for grace and truth. We should always seek restoration, but let us not forget that repentance is necessary.

Someone did a post about capital punishment this morning and after reading and posting on it I goggled up the name Randy Kraft. He is a convicted serial killer here in Southern California and was charged with 16 murders including Geoff my 18 year old nephew and his 20 year old friend Roger. The police and D.A however strongly suspected him of 51 other murders of young men some as young as 12 and 13 years old but most were in their early 20's.
I know that their are many in the Church who have always thought it is wrong for the State to implement capital punishment for those who have committed murder but I do not agree but believe it is what God requires and it is for the ultimate protect of society. God can forgive anyone, even murders if they sincerely call upon Jesus for forgiveness but that should never make them un responsible or unaccountable for their horrible crimes of taking the lives of others. Randy Kraft has been on San Quintin death row for over 20's years now all the delays his lawyers have been seeking on his behalf have run out and he will probably be the next man to be put to death by the State of California and I will go and represent my family when that day comes. Just reading about all this again grieved me so much and my heart goes out to all the victims not only those that died but their family's and love ones.
If Jesus was against the death penalty then why did he respond to Pilot that he had no power if the Father in Heaven hadn't given it to him?
When God spoke through the prophets that if a man shed the blood of another man then by man shall his blood be shed. Was he talking about locking them away for life or a death penalty?
When Paul said that the government was a terror to the evil and not the good because the government did not bare the sword in vain, Was he referring to the death penalty residing in the hands of the government?
Red Hot Love —Everyone faces personal insult, affronts, or abuses in life. Paul admonishes us to soberly consider how we respond to wrongdoing. Vengeance — ultimate judgment — is something best left up to the only impartial judge — God. This does not mean that we suffer abuse needlessly. The point is not to take actions that could lead to a self-serving, vigilante type of response. The key is restraint. Explore practical ways that Christians can restrain themselves from rash actions that cause more harm than good. Paul adds that instead of repaying evil for evil, we should offer blessing. Consider the impact of love applied to evil acts. "Red Hot Love" can refer to turning heated anger into love or the impact of love on a heated situation.
A linguistics professor was lecturing his class one day.
'In English', he said, 'A double negative forms a positive. In some languages, though, such as Russian, a double negative is still a negative. However, there is no language wherein a double positive can form a negative.'
A loud voice from the back of the room piped up, 'Yeah, right.'
He's longing after a false soda in his recent post praising the good taste of Royal Crown Cola! Every true soda drinker knows that Coca Cola alone is the real thing and he hates it, everything else is just part and post of the false ecumenical cola movement that is sweeting the world today! Stay away from him and his false doctrines and of course his reaaaaaaly bad tastes!!!!Yendor speaks out about RCC
