The Demands of Prayer

1. It will demand time. Daniel prayed 3 times a day. Psalm 55 : 17 "Evening and morning, and at noon will I pray, and cry aloud and He shall hear my voice."

2. It will demand secrecy and openness. Daniel prayed in his home with an opened window. He was not ashamed but he shut the door to the outside world and it's worries.

3. It will demand obedience. Psalm 5 : 7 "But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of Thy mercy and in Thy fear will I worship toward the holy temple." Daniel prayed in obedience to God with no concern to the consequences.

4. It will demand humility. Not a position of your body but position of your heart.

5. It will demand thankfulness.

The Lord has been dealing with me about prayer and my prayer life. It is the key to our daily lives.

My 4 year old got his prayer's answered. It snow today. He went out and made some snowballs! It was very light though and by 4PM was gone! lol Even you haven't read Too funny #3, then you will not know why I posted this!

Evangelist Lou Rossi has asked churches all over America to make the first Tuesday of the month a day of prayer and fasting for America.

I wanted to pass this along because it is so important for us as Christians to stay strong in these last days.

Being Alone

Many of us strive to not be alone.
That is why we may have come on this site or started blogging. But there is a time when we should try to strive to be alone and that is alone with God!

Daniel was so effective for God even in his 90s but he did not get there by his own efforts. He got there by praying 3 times a day! (Daniel 6 )

I am a busy mom! I know the demands of time, but if I am going to have any success at rearing my children, I need to pray for God's wisdom and guidance. A quick 5 minute prayer will not cut it for a 24 hour day.

Soo..... the next time you feel alone. Get alone with God in prayer!

Psalm 55:17 "Evening and morning and at noon will I pray and He will hear my voice."

Okay to make an intro.. My dad is my boss! lol So at morning devotions he was joking and said "Please pray that it will snow. Noah (my son his grandson)wants a snowball!" Well, my other boss prayed and said Lord let it snow for Noah. He prayed for other things also but he did pray for it to snow. It snowed!! The odd thing is that it mostly snowed at our office! lol The snow didn't stick so Noah didn't get a snowball but hey! God answered even the simple prayer a grandfather had for his grandson! Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord! Maybe it will snow tonight and stick to the ground. I will let ya know!

I had posted a poem recently. The title of the blog was Restless Heart. I had also posted two post that I deleted. My heart is so heavy right now. I don't want to come across as a sap. I just sometimes think I am going in the wrong direction in certain areas of my life. It is hard being a single mom. Especially with my boys. I see that the boys need a male role model in their life. They have my dad but he can't be there all the time. I am rolling my eyes because tonight I said that I don't have a man in my life and one of my friends said yes you do you have Jesus. I said true, but I don't necessarily need a husband as much as a man who can be a Godly influence on my children. He can just be a friend that gets involved with them, but that is hard to find. Okay so I am venting! I am pouring probably too much of my heart here! When I came on this site it was because a friend had met a man on here that she married. He is a Godly man and she and another friend were trying to encourage me to get on this site and others. They mean well. It just seems that I am not the body type for most men and those that do admire me for my brains live too far away! Okay deep sigh!! Letting it all out!! I just am going to keep on trusting God. So, if I don't blog as much or "search" the profiles as much, it is because I am trying to be content with what God has placed in my life! Maybe the man I need to have in my life will get a job in my area!! I love you all and I hope that you understand this blog was really just for me to release and as a prayer to God. He knows my heart and my thoughts!! Hallelujah!! ~Katrina

What would you do?

First an introduction! lol I have had 2 men who were new members send me their contact information. One of course got caught right off the bat. The other is a new member and emailed me today with a yahoo address. They both say they did not realize they should have not put contact information in the email. What do you think? If someone emailed you the first time with their contact information, what would you do or have done?
	Take the information and contact them outside of BC
	Report them for abuse
	Send an email back to them without reporting them.
	Send an email to them and report them.
	Ignore the whole thing, Let someone else deal with it.
