| FEMICIDE IN GUATEMALA |

56 Views | | I just watched a heart wrenching documentary, on the wholesale murder of women in Guatemala, titled " Killers Paradise ". If you get a chance to watch it, then ask why isn't the U.S. doing something about it ? In the past three years 1,500 young women have been raped and murdered, while the Guatemalan police do nothing to try to catch the murders. Why ? Because a woman's life is considered worthless, so the murders continue. Pray the the women, and the Government of Guatemala. | |

Have you ever considered what the Apostle Paul meant by this phrase ? Do you realize his statement applies to you ? But have you ever asked; how were we crucified with Christ, when we weren't physically there as He was crucified ? We didn't even look upon Him, as He shed His precious blood for us.
If this is true of us ( that we were crucified with Christ ), when we weren't even there, is it also true of the O.T. saints as well ? Who also weren't there ? Just how much did the O.T. saints know ( or understand ) about the promised Messiah? Was their faith in Him, and what they understood He would accomplish by His death; or were they saved some other way?
Do you know where to find the first mention of the suffering Messiah ?

SHOULD SOMEONE TITHE WHILE IN DEBT ?
" Yes, if you want to get out of debt. The natural man says no. Proverbs 14:12, " There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death. " We forget we owed God a long time before we owed these debts. He rightfully has first claim. Matthew 6:33 promises that if we will put Him first, all these other things will be added unto us, and in this way every need will be met.
Why should we tithe while in debt ? Because we must also remember that we are in partnership, that we are handling the money that belongs to our silent partner, and it requires that He gets His rightful part off the top. If He does not get it, then it is called embezzlement. It is important to pay Him His part, for He is looking out for our interest and can allow us to get deeper into debt or to prosper so we might get out of debt. "
