Blind?

This was an email I got, I wanted to share it with you...
There was a blind girl who hated herself just because she's blind.
She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He's always there for her.
She said that if she could only see the world, she would marry her
boyfriend.
One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her and then she can see
everything, including her boyfriend.
Her boyfriend asked her, "now that you can see the world, will you marry
me?" The girl was shocked when she saw that her boyfriend is blind too, and
refused to marry him.
Her boyfriend walked away in tears, and later wrote a letter to her saying.
"Just take care of my eyes dear."
This is how human brain changes when our status changes. Only few remember
what life was before, and who's always been there even in the most painful
situations.
Life Is A Gift
Today before you think of saying an unkind word - Think of someone who can't
speak.
Before you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone who has
nothing to eat.
Before you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone who's
crying out to God for a companion.
Today before you complain about life - Think of someone who went too early
to heaven.
Before you complain about your children - Think of someone who desires
children but they're barren.
Before you argue about your dirty house, someone didn't clean or sweep -
Think of the people who are living in the streets.
Before whining about the distance you drive - Think of someone who walks the
same distance with their feet.
And when you are tired and complain about your job - Think of the
unemployed, the disabled and those who wished they had your job.
But before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another - Remember
that not one of us are without sin and we all answer to one maker.
And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down - Put a smile on your
face and thank God you're alive and still around.
Life is a gift, Live it, Enjoy it, Celebrate it, AND fulfill it.

Voting? Need prayer!

I am going to get on my knees and pray for how I should vote. I know ultimately the government rest on his shoulders and he is over all things, but this year I have not kept myself as informed as I need to be. I am going to review the issues and then go vote around 11 oam, Please pray that we yield ourselves to his spirit as we cast our votes....Thank you...

What? Kind of Love

This was written by a friend of mine...I thought ya'll might like to read it too...
Agape love is simple. It means to love someone unconditionally. There are no strings attached, no expectations to meet, no boundaries to keep. Agape love is accepting a person as he/she is without expecting them to change to meet your needs physically and emotionally. When you have agape love everyone around you will change, because they want what you have.
Eros love is heart pumping, breathless, hot and fleeting, catchy, complicated, and difficult. There are strings attached, expectations to meet, boundaries overlooked, and all this doesn't really seem all that important to you, until the minister has pronounced you man and wife. It is accepting a person, but not overlooking what you have consciously deemed a fault and subconsciously believed they will change once you've snared them for good. Like the adage says: Love is blind...marriage is the eye opener. Eros love is what starts the fire going and without agape love, the coals are left unattended and eventually it dies. You are left wondering what happened.
Real love is the merging of these two different loves: Eros and Agape. It is what you have left when the fire dies down to burning embers. It isn't hot, it isn't cold, its just right. It means when the fire threatens to go out one of you is blowing on the coals and the other one is adding kindling. Both of you are making sure that the wood pile is stacked high enough that you both feel secure when a blizzard does arrive.
Just my thoughts on it,

Moon and stars, shining in the night, testimonies, encouraging sight
Sunrise, a rainbow, morning dew, rain and
snow. Grass, flowers, trees, wind, a summer
breeze, pallets of hills, mountains, rock
and sand, elements in the rolling, and flat
land. An oceans wake, evening tide, colors

In one of our bible studies, our pastor, had this to say, I think it is beautiful ...
Matthew 14: Prayer very vital in life of Jesus..
The closer we can model after the way he prayed, He never prayed amiss. Matthew 14 vs 23 He went into a mountain apart to pray after he sent multitude away. Prayer in its simplist and most beautiful form is being in communion with him. He rose early, He spent the entire night, He spent a long time. He was God in Human form but yet he was given to prayer. In Jesus foreknowledge , he knew what Peter would do. Do you suppose Jesus has prayed for you, before your actual need?
Luke 6 vs 27 and 28- Jesus practiced what he preached. He prayed for blessing and not curse.
John 11 vs 41 and 42 He prayed for the people, that they may believe.
Most beautiful prayer of Jesus John chapter 17 espiecially vs 8,9,15 and 19
Hebrews 7 vs 24 and 25 We have Jesus now and through eternity-He abides forever, He ever lives to pray for us to the uttermost.
Uttermost-completely evermore.
Eternal Security-Jesus is making intersession.

Also Isaiah 52:8 - Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion. The Face to face 2 is a bible study Im doing on the faces of the word, and I will be writing a poem about it, it is how Jesus is revealing some things to me, I guess I will use this blog to share some of it with you guys, God Bless and have a great evening.
