Mindless Voting Oct 27, 2008 7:41 am
92 Views
Many will go to the poles this year and vote without a thought of God’s will concerning the matter. Many Christians will vote republican or democrat because that is what they are. How many will vote as a Christian? I understand the ballet doesn’t give us the option of “Christian” only republican and democrat. However, voting as a Christian we would not be voting democrat or republican. We would be voting for the candidate who stands for godly morals.

I have spoken to Christians who will vote on race preference. Many of the African Americans will vote for the Obama because he is African American, and this is a mark in history for their race. This is mindless voting. There are some charismatic ministers, who were asked the question on how they were going to vote. One responded, “Well abortion is really no longer an issue.” Wow! How can killing babies no longer be an issue? How can partial birth abortions, where they decapitate the baby as their head comes out of the womb, no longer be an issue? How can the issue of teenage girls being allowed to cross state lines and get an abortion without their parents consent not be an issue? How can the issue of promoting homosexual education not be an issue?

The media just recently reported a first grade class being taken to a lesbian wedding as part of their curriculum. How can this not be an issue? How can traditional marriage in the states not be an issue? How can parental rights in Education not be an issue? How can preaching the Word of God regarding the homosexual life style and getting arrested for it not be an issue? Where is the church?!!!

Listen, I don’t have to pray about who to vote for. I vote for the candidate who stands for godly morals. How do I know who really stands for godly morals, especially when they both have been caught in lies. We know that candidates will say anything to get voted in. Then after they are elected they will be who they are. You can know a candidate for who they are by their position citation, by their voting history. Do some research and find out who stands for what.

Please do not go to the poles mindlessly!

I Timothy 2:1-4
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

Apostle Paul is telling us to pray for all men and then he tells us what men he is talking about. It’s good and acceptable in the sight of God that we pray for our country’s leaders because it matters who is in leadership over our country concerning men coming to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. It maters that we pray for the right person to get into office and continue to pray for them while in office. We don’t have to like them to pray for them. The heart of the king is in the hand of God and He moves it which ever way He wills, Proverbs 21:1. If the wrong man goes in office this will hinder the Kingdom of God going forth to bring in the precious fruit of the earth.

God takes care of His, we will increase no matter what condition our economy is in. Our economy, and promises to fix it, is not an issue to a Christian, but the heart of God for our nation is. Financial prosperity comes from righteousness. When this nation follows after God and His ways, then we will see the economic status change for the better.

Let them who have ears to hear take heed. I find it interesting that many of our ministers got hit with accusation, this year, of robbing the people of their money. Ken Copeland, Creflo Dollar, Fred Price, Joyce Meyer and others were accused this year. These is election year and these ministers have great influence over the church. Can you see the strategy here? If they lose their creditability with the people they lose their godly influence.

Pray for our nation for the sake of the lost.

The New Covenant Wife Jun 22, 2008 5:48 pm

The New Covenant Wife is fruitful, she always gives never expecting anything in return. The selfish wife is always looking for “what’s in it for me.” She is looking to fulfill herself. Her interest may seem like it is in you but it really is only to fulfill herself. She wants you for her not to be a blessing to you. The NCW considers her relationship with you about you not her. It’s about fulfilling you. Every decision she makes she first considers how it will affect you. Her serving you is the high light of her day. She calls you Lord, and even calls you King. She stays humble before you, and your strength where you are weak.

On days when you can’t seem to communicate your feelings she tells you how you feel, she communicates for you. She loves you with a perfect love, which is unconditional and can read you like a book because she is anointed to be your wife. Look for the woman that is anointed to be your wife. Don’t look for a wife cause you could end up with anyone.

She never says no when you reach out to her for intimacy. She delights in pleasing you. She is always available to take care of you in your holies of holies (the marriage bed). Her legs open with her heart as the dew of her garden cries at her gates to fulfill you. In her moment of expression to you she cries out in pleasure, as you both touch heaven together, your relationship soars to new heights and greater depths.

Sexual expression is one of the greatest ways to say I love you. The NCW is always ready to say I LOVE YOU!!!!

Women of Value (Ladies -Make Him Pay) Nov 22, 2007 2:08 pm
303 Views

Why are single women so easy today? Single women, divorced or otherwise, don’t make the man, who is interested in her, pay the price for her. Where did she lose her sense of worth and value? In the old testament of the Bible we read of many men who sought out a wife. They had to pay a dowry for her. In other words she was so valuable that there was a price to pay for her. The more daughters a man had the more riches he had because of all the dowry money and assets.
Genesis chapters 24 and 29.

I have been single for 2 ½ years after 30 years of marriage. I find that being out here in the single world women don’t value themselves as they should. Somewhere they have lost sight of how valuable they are and just take up with anything that comes down the street. Kind of like a desperate little dog needing a place to call home. I don’t mean to be cruel but I can say this because I am out here and was devastated by divorce and know that feeling very well. The night of the day that my ex-husband told me he wanted a divorce, I had an all night prayer meeting. I was praying for him and the restoration of our marriage. The second night I was going to do it again. This time the Holy Spirit stopped me and told me that this was my night. He began to talk to me about my groom which was confusing to me. I was believing for my husband to be restored. The Spirit told me that He had a groom for me and began to tell me a little about him. I asked, “How do I know he won’t leave me too?” The Spirit said, “The man who pays the price for you will never leave you.” He went on to say that there was a dowry on my head, a high price to pay for me because of my value. He said, “He who pays the price for you will never leave you.” Wow that was so cool. I was so ministered to by that. In our pain of rejection we can become desperate for a connection in order to feel valued again. In that we tend to connect with anyone who makes us feel the way we need to feel. This is shaky ground… its building our life on a sandy foundation. If the man changes the way he treats her she then loses her affection for him thinking she is falling out of love with him, when she never really was in love with him. In fact she was self preserving. There is a time for healing that needs to take place before we should be doing any dating… I dated sooner than I should of and that slowed down the healing process for me because I was using the men that I dated as crutches. Spending time with someone who desired my company gave me a sense worth. But it also hindered me from healing like I should of. It took much longer to heal because I was using a cheep ointment instead of applying the healing bomb of God’s word. One thing I learned fast is that you have to be whole to attract someone who is whole. You attract what you are. In my off and on dating I became very frustrated with men. I was wondering if there were any good me out there. The Holy Spirit taught me that I will not attract a good man until I become a good women. I wasn’t in any shape for a relationship at least a good relationship. Finally I yielded to the work of the Holy Spirit and let Him heal me while I lived consecrated for about 8 months. It was very lonely at times because I desired the company of the opposite sex because that is what I was used to for 30 years. At the end of that 8 months great things happened in my life. My value was restored to me. I never lost my value but felt like I had because of rejection. At the end of that 8 months I begin to see my life restored.

My consecration started when I relocated to California from Michigan, I left my kindred and most of my possessions and set out for Sothern California. I have no family out here or close friends. Soon after arriving God blessed me with a good job. After 9 months of renting a room from a young couple I was able to get my own apartment, and begin to furnish it with things needed. Good things started happening for me when I did things God’s way.

Now I am ready, my groom will not hesitate to pay the price for me, that is how I will know he is my groom. As the time approaches God will reveal to me the whole price that is on my head.

I refuse to take what comes along. My Father is rich and has many sons, one of them He has reserved just for me. I live my life serving my Father and knowing that soon He will unveil me to my groom and he and I, in the power of God’s might, will advance the kingdom of God together.

Ladies, don’t devalue yourself by hunting out a husband, hunt out God and let Him restore and build your life again. He has you hidden in the cleft of the Rock. When its time he will shed light on you so that your groom, your set aside one, your greater portion, can see you clearly. When you walk in the spirit realm as an eternal you will know him when you see him.

Dating to ease the pain of loneliness is living as a temporal. Again, that is self preserving. When you truly know that God is your source of fulfillment you will not desire a man to fulfill you, you will desire a man whom you can fulfill.

THE WILL OF GOD Nov 22, 2007 2:07 pm

Romans 12
I APPEAL to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship.
Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].

Because of the mercies of God we should make the quality decision to dedicate our bodies presenting all of its members spirit, soul and body, the whole of our being, as a living sacrifice holy and well pleasing to God which is our reasonable service. It’s our reasonable service or expected of us to give the whole of our being to the Father because of His goodness and mercy to us.

In order to do this we have to do verse 2. We must not be conformed to the world’s way of thinking or adapt to it but be renewed in our mind to the word of God. We can then prove what is the good, acceptable and perfect will of God for our lives.
We must first determine the will of God for our lives. Whether we are in the good, acceptable or the perfect will of God we must still be obedient to His word no matter which one of these states we are in.
Debt is not the perfect will of God for any of us.

Deuteronomy 18:12
The Lord shall open to you His good treasury, the heavens, to give the rain of your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hands; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.

We can see here that the perfect will of God for us is to not be the borrower but to be the lender. However we know it is a not a sin to borrow otherwise it would be a sin to lend. We can see that borrowing is his good or acceptable will here but it is not His perfect will for us. He wants us to grow from his good and acceptable will into His perfect will. It’s like the 30, 60, and 100 fold. We will receive 100 fold return when we get into His perfect will and stay there.

What if you are a smoker? Does that fall into one of these categories? Maybe smoking would be the good will of God? What if you are having sex outside of marriage? Your mate hasn’t come along yet and you do have needs. So you are having sex with a friend. Could this be God’s good will for you until he sends your mate and then you will be in His perfect will? One thing for sure we cannot list sin in these categories. Sin is never God’s will on any level.

The above-mentioned example of being a borrower or a lender sheds some light on the three different wills of God. No matter what level of will we are at we must still obey God’s word.

Being in the good or acceptable will of God you may have some debt, or drive a 1998 instead of a 2008. You may rent instead of own etc…
But there is no sin involved. Sin is never okay. Like money is the exchange for goods in the world’s system, obedience to God’s word is the exchange for goods in the Kingdom of God’s system.

While you maybe in the good or acceptable will of God you must be striving for the perfect will of God. On each level there are benefits. But there is no comparison between the good and acceptable to the perfect. When you are in the perfect will of God you will never struggle with anything. Opposition will arise but it will be a synch to deal with. There is something about the boldness to stand in your authority or operate from your place of authority, seated at the right hand of the Father in Christ Jesus, when you are in the perfect will of God. When you know where you are seated you live different.

When you are practicing sin this will affect your ability to operate in your authority. If you are not in control of your own life you will not have authority over anything else.

Bottom line He is a good God and His mercies are new every morning and forever lasting, II Chronicles 7:3, Psalm 105:5, Psalm 103:17. Knowing this we need not take His mercies for granted or take advantage of them.

Live right and you will get what is right for you.

THE POWER OF GOD'S MIGHT Nov 22, 2007 2:06 pm

Ephesians 6:10-
In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides]. (AMP Version)
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. (KJV)

What is it that you are struggling with or praying for? Have you been before God for a long time about the same thing? Consider this scripture above. There is another Might that you can tap into. Have you considered tapping into God’s Might? His power is greater than human power or might. We cannot stand against the devil in our own human strength. But we can in the power of God’s Might. Verse 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Put on the whole armor of God. The armor of God is simply putting on His Word. His word is your salvation, His word is your breastplate of righteousness, your peace or wholeness, your shield of faith, your helmet of salvation, and your sword to conquer.

Breastplate of righteousness is knowing who you are in Christ. Peace or wholeness is knowing you have been redeemed from the curse of the law, shield of faith is the word on your mouth that stops the fiery darts of accusation, helmet of salvation is the renewed mind to Christ and the sword of the spirit is to wield the word of God at the enemy to conquer. This is the power of God’s might.

Simply put we can stand in the face of the enemy as a new creature recreated in Christ, as the righteousness of God, whole nothing missing nothing broken, shielded by our faith in God and we wield the Word at the enemy to conquer him and his plan against us. We must speak the word against enemy knowing who we are standing and not buckling.

So that you can receive that which you have been believing for…it may be the enemy is standing in the way of it.

John 16:23-24
And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Notice how Jesus said in that day referring to the day of the New Covenant that would not come until His death, burial and resurrection. He said up to this point you haven’t asked nothing in my name but in that day you will ask the Father whatsoever you need in my name and He will give it to you. Obviously we know that this would mean whatever we ask being His will.

I John 5:14
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

Putting these two scriptures together: Whatever we ask the Father in Jesus' name, according to His will, he hears us and will give it to us. Why is this? Because of our position. What is our position?

Ephesians 2:6
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Psalm 8:4-6
What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:

Hebrews 2:6-8
But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man that thou visitest him?
Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:
Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

Angels in this verse translates Eloheim meaning creator of all things. So this would mean man has been made a little lower than God.
We, the church, are seated at the right hand of the Father along with Jesus and everything has been put under His feet as well as ours because we are seated in heavenly places with Him.

When we know where we are seated we just act different. When we know we are a throne sitter we feel and act accordingly. Everything is under our feet. All opposition, trial and tests are under our feet.

Do you know the will of the Father concerning a certain thing?
If not then ask in Jesus name, from your position at His right hand, and Jesus will then present your case to the Father and grant it. All opposition against it is under your feet. Anything that rises up against it, lack of money or legalities etc.. is under your feet. You have it granted to you from the Father through Jesus Christ. It’s a done deal.

Now stand in the power of His might and receive your petition and get on with advancing the Kingdom of God.

It maybe helpful to set out three chairs side by side. The end chair to the left is God’s throne, the middle chair is Jesus’ throne and the last chair is your throne. You present your case to Jesus seated at His right hand as He is seated at God’s right hand. Amen!!!! This is our place of authority.

What you need God needs and He is more than willing to grant it to you. Do you need to be in the U.S.A. going to school? Knowing this is God’s will then know He will grant it. He needs you here going to school. Amen!!!!

LIVING FULLY CHARGED Nov 22, 2007 2:04 pm
254 Views

James 1:13-14
Blessed (happy, to be envied) is the man who is patient under trial and stands up under temptation, for when he has stood the test and been approved, he will receive [the victor's] crown of life which God has promised to those who love Him.
Let no one say when he is tempted, I am tempted from God; for God is incapable of being tempted by [what is] evil and He Himself tempts no one.
But every person is tempted when he is drawn away, enticed and baited by his own evil desire (lust, passions).

Two key points in the above-mentioned passage is patience and drawn away. When we are patient in the midst of trial we will not allow ourselves to be drawn away from doing the Word.

All of us go through seasons of the trying or approving of our faith. We can only be drawn away, from the doing of the word during this time, if we do not keep ourselves charged in the Spirit.

I Corinthians 14:4
He who speaks in a [strange] tongue edifies and improves himself, but he who prophesies [interpreting the divine will and purpose and teaching with inspiration] edifies and improves the church and promotes growth [in Christian wisdom, piety, holiness, and happiness].

The key point here is when we pray in tongues we edify and improve our self. We can see that the edifying or building up of our self is up to us not God. It is our responsibility to build our self up, Jude 20. Edify has several meanings one of which means to charge. Many of us don’t walk in victory because we don’t get a full charge. Have you ever had your cell phone die on you? Well, you used up the charge and now you have to charge it before you can use it. Most of the time they need to charge overnight. Then it will work for you a couple of days, depending on how much you use it in that time. Most cell phones if charged all night while powered on will not get a full charge. See, our cell has to be hooked up to a power source for a while to be valuable for use. If your cell is dead you can’t reach anyone and they can’t reach you.

Much the same way with us in the spirit realm. When we don’t stay hooked up or connected to the Spirit daily by speaking in tongues we will not get a full charge. We may suffer lack financially, or sickness may show up or we may get grouchy, lose our tempter etc., nor will we be able to reach anyone, help anyone or them reach us. When we don’t keep ourselves charged we lose our value for use. I didn’t say we lose our value…I said we lose our value for use. This is because we didn’t get a full charge. You can’t pray in tongues 5 minutes out of the day and think you can conquer the test and trials that come. Why? Because you can’t get a full charge on five minutes of being connected. This is why many are drawn away from doing the word while facing a trial of their faith. Temptation is a trial of your faith. Patience is staying the same no matter the circumstance. Not getting a complete charge makes you vulnerable for yielding to temptation. When you don’t get a full charge your fleshly passions can rise up and take control. In other words lead you into sin. Or you can fail in your faith for what you are believing for all because you didn’t stay charged up. If you don’t stay charged up you will be drawn away from doing the Word of God by lustful passions and then sin is birthed. Once this happens this gives place to the devil in your life to bring sickness on your body, lack in your finances and strain, stress and division in your relationships.

Ephesians 3:14-16
For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

To be strengthened with might by His Spirit in our inner man. Wow!! Our inner man is strengthened in God’s might by His Spirit. With this being known nothing is impossible for us. We have the power of God’s might on the inside of us. How do we tap into this Might of God? By speaking in tongues daily throughout the day and at set aside times. This is your connection, this is your full complete charge that you need to stand against the enemy who comes, when least expected, to try your faith.

Have you ever had the battery in your car die? You know when that happens that you are stranded. You are fully loaded with this car but no power or might to move. Even though fully loaded you are stranded. We are the same, we are fully loaded with everything we need to do all that God has called us to do but yet so many of us are not increasing in health, wealth and in our relationships, we are stranded…therefore not advancing the Kingdom of God. Singles need mates, they wait and wait for God to bring their mate but the mate never comes. They are lacking because they are not tapping into the might, the promise within because they do not get a full charge. Their faith is up for a bit but they fizzle out fast because they are not fully charged.

Let us get charged in the Holy Ghost and we will see increase happen in our lives in all areas. When we live charged we won’t be drawn away from doing the Word of God and we will increase. It pleases God when we increase.

Redeemed from the Curse of the Law Nov 12, 2007 8:48 pm
252 Views

Galatians 3:13
Christ purchased our freedom [redeeming us] from the curse (doom) of the Law [and its condemnation] by [Himself] becoming a curse for us, for it is written [in the Scriptures], Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree (is crucified);

We find the curse of the law in the first 5 books of the old testament. In Deuteronomy 28 starting in verse 15 until the end of he chapter we read about this curse. In verse 1-14 we read about the blessing. In verse one of this chapter there is a condition to the blessing.

IF YOU will listen diligently to the voice of the Lord your God, being watchful to do all His commandments which I command you this day, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.

And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you if you heed the voice of the Lord your God.

Then it goes on to name the blessings. In Verse 15 we read: But if you will not obey the voice of the Lord your God, being watchful to do all His commandments and His statutes which I command you this day, then all these curses shall come upon you and overtake you: Then it goes on to name the curses.

Many Christians struggle with different issues and call it a generational curse. But Galatians 3:13 says we have been redeemed from the curse of the law. If we have been redeemed then how can we have a generational curse? The curse of the law is sickness, disease, poverty and death (spiritual). Born again folk don’t have generational curses, only those who are not born again have generational curses. I know what you are thinking; you are thinking that you know may Christians sick, broke and some have died premature deaths. This is true but that does not change the word of God. Hosea 4:6 says my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. I believe this could also mean having the wrong information as well. The word “destroyed” in this passage translates “Cut off.” My people are cut off from the blessing for lack of knowledge. So if we Christians are redeemed from the curse of the law then why do many suffer the same way the unbelievers suffer who are under the curse?

Ephesians 4:27
Leave no [such] room or foothold for the devil [give no opportunity to him].

The enemy works in patterns… if it worked to destroy your mother he will put it on you. In your ignorance you receive it because after all it runs in your family. Or if Daddy was committed to a certain sin the devil will put in on you if you give him place. Ignorance to the word of god will also give him place. When Christians get off of the mark or walk in deliberate disobedience this gives the enemy a place to get in. When we give him place he will take advantage of that but we are not under the curse of the law, we live under the blessing. We cannot be cursed…We are blessed and what God blesses no one can curse. When we give the devil place we will stop up the blessings of God in our life but we are not under the curse any longer. We have been redeemed. It is not biblical to say that we have generational curses. I am sticking with the Word, I have been redeemed from the Curse of the law. If I miss-step and don’t repent that will give the enemy place in my life to stop up the blessing but he can’t curse me. As soon as I do repent that starts the blessing flow again.

Live the high life you were created to live by walking in your redemption.

Almost Saved Nov 10, 2007 4:22 pm

People who are almost saved are people who add God to their life as an accessory, church, tithing and giving offering is optional. They look for a seeker friendly church that offers several service times to fit their comfort zone. Almost saved people never give to the poor or do they have compassion for those in need. They work their 9 to 5 job, drive nice cars, live in a nice home, have a nice savings account and take a vacation to some far away exotic place once a year. They go to church once a week; they may even tithe and give a small offering, by this they are justified in living this normal life. They have a nice comfortable life. This is known as the normal life. They are neither hot nor cold. They keep their religious beliefs to themselves most of the time because they don’t want to offend anyone. They attend a church that isn’t too radical and of course this church never deals with dark issues in their lives such as sin, pride, robbing God etc.

Almost saved people are people who have on the form of godliness but deny the power to change, II Timothy 3:5. These are the people who have to be entertained to keep going to church. Seeker sensitive churches are like a big padded nest designed to keep people comfortable, there is very little discipleship going on.

Where are the churches that teach about the narrow and wide roads in Matthew 7? Where are the churches that disciple leaders and then release them for ministry? Where are the churches that correct, and admonish? Many have gotten caught up in the world’s system – doing what feels right, instead of teaching the Word of God. The last thing people need to be is comfortable. As a pastor I would not want my people to be comfortable. I am forever correcting them out of their comfort zone. Being discipled is not easy. Being trained always goes against your fleshly desires.

There are churches today who do preach the word of God and this is because they love God and have a compassion for people and a passion to help them reach their destinies. They deal with hard issues, and nail sin for the sake of the people. God chastises those that are His.

The sad thing about being lukewarm is that most don’t even know they are. The deception is so powerful that they think they are okay.

Revelation 3:16
So, because you are lukewarm and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of My mouth!

They will be the ones at the end who stand before God and say they have done great things, but God says depart from me I never knew you.

Matthew 7:22
Many will say to me on that day Lord Lord have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name, and done many mighty works in Your name?
And then I will say to them openly, (publicly), I never knew you, depart form Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands].

The key words here are “Many will say.” They will say they have done these things because they really think they have. I believe they once lived a life according to the word with the power of God active in their life making a difference, but they fell prey to compromise. They turned off of the narrow road to the wide road and deception kept them blind. That is why self-examination is so important on a daily basis.

So many have chosen the life of compromise because it allows them to be them self. This is the problem their flesh is not dead. They have not been crucified with Christ Galatians 2:20. It seems many Christians have chosen the wide road with the Christ title. This is dangerous for them and hurts the kingdom of God.

II Timothy 2:19
But the firm foundation of (laid by) God stand, sure and unshaken, bearing this seal (inscription): The Lord knows those who are His and Let everyone who names [himself by] the name of the Lord give up all iniquity and stand aloof from it.

Casinos seem to be the hot topic among Christians today. Many Christians have chosen Casinos as a choice of entertainment or they just like to go there and eat. The Bible tells us to abstain from all appearance of evil, I Thessalonians 5:22. Verse 23 says that God has sanctified us from all evil.

There was this couple who attended a strong Word of Faith church. There was a woman who attended that had an issue with gambling. They came into the church and the couple received Christ and began to grow. The man along with the pastor was working with her to get her on the right path and she was doing well. She had a slight set back and went into a casino; her husband soon found her and was taking her out. On the way out they saw a couple from that same church. This couple explained that they always go in there to eat because the food is good. After this woman saw this couple in there she felt justified, after all this couple had been going to this church for years and if it is okay for them to be in the casino than it is okay for her. The women never recovered.

Romans 14:13
Then let us no more criticize and blame and pass judgment on one another, but rather decide and endeavor never to put a stumbling block or an obstacle or a hindrance in the way of a brother.

This couple was a stumbling block to this woman with the gambling problem. She was looking for justification, something to tell her that what she was doing was okay and found it in knowing that this couple, which attended her church, frequented the casino.

Is there a difference in a restaurant with a bar than a casino with a restaurant? I encourage you to examine yourself daily make sure you are on the narrow road.

Women of Value (Make Him Pay) Nov 9, 2007 6:09 pm

My consecration started when I relocated to California from Michigan, I left my kindred and most of my possessions and set out for Southern California.

Ladies Beware of the Snake Oct 21, 2007 6:31 pm

Many men online misrepresent who they really are. There are men who are dead-beats who won’t work. They live off of the support of women. On some of the Christian singles sites one being, Black Christian People Meet, women are getting snared into their trap. These men claim to be a minister who is starting a ministry, they turn on their charm and draw the women close to them but make it plain that they are not interested in them romantically because they are focused on God. The women think that he is for real because he is not hitting them up for sex . They warm up to him because he ministers to them. It’s like an aphrodisiac to them. Before you know it they are intoxicated by the idea of being with him. They start getting visions of ministering with him and being his wife. Regarding one man on this above mentioned site, several women say they have heard from God that they are to be his wife. God is not into multiple wives we all know that. In the mean time these women send money and he lives off of it instead of putting it into ministry.

Men who charm to manipulate women have what I call the snake. This one particular man is not even divorced and was living with his wife when he hit up some of these women. Wow! Some Christian women are vulnerable to this type because they so desire a good Christian man. I Peter 5:8 tells us to be sober and vigilant. Pastors and older women should be teaching the younger against such predators through the body of Christ. We need to warn them that it is easy to get intoxicated with the idea of being with a certain man when it appears he is of God. One of the things we should teach is not to give money to anyone you meet on the Internet. These guys are stealing from the church when they take these women’s money. Before you know it the women think they are hearing from God and even begin to give him their tithes. Little do they know he has a wife or a steady girlfriend. But he makes them feel like he cares about them, he makes them feel like they are special to him which gives them some hope that one day she will be his wife. This escalates their giving. They soon feel like they can’t do enough for him, they give and give and give even to sacrificing provision for their children.

How sad this is. Many say, well how stupid can they get if they are that stupid then they deserve to suffer. It is a stupid move on the part of the women that is why we need to begin to teach this in a great way from our platforms to warm people about Internet predators. Let’s teach single women how to wait on God for their mates. Singles sites are not bad in and of themselves. If we follow the word of God and acknowledge Him in all we do we can be a blessing on these sites.

Philippians 4:6 tells us to be careful for nothing. When we are walking the word of God we don’t have to be careful because we are in obedience to the word.

Matthew 7:15
Beware of false prophets, who come to you dressed as sheep, but inside they are devouring wolves.
You will fully recognize them by their fruits. Do people pick grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?

Before we give money to anyone we need to check out their fruit. Amen!!! LADIES DON’T BE A FOOL.
