I am just kinda sitting here. I felt kinda bad after work today. My body really isn't the same as it was 10 years ago. A Friend who worked with me then called me by the nickname "Bulldog". His reasoning was that I worked so hard that he thought I could do anything.

These days I kind of laugh at that. There is so much going on right now that sometimes I wish that there was a place to go to no longer be me. Perhaps revert back to childhood when I had invisible friends.

His name was John Hooks. My mom even sat a place at the table for him to eat. I wonder when he disappeared. I also wonder sometimes why I created him.

I was born with cerebral palsy that affected my nervous system. I could not walk until I was three years old. I could ride a little bike, but I couldn't walk. They ended up giving me medication and that seemed to do the trick.

I am not sure why I am thinking of all of this. Perhaps I am remembering watching the kids play from my window and there was nothing I could do to join them. Maybe its just nice remembering my parents and how much they Loved me and how much I miss them.

No matter how we feel. like we are persecuted or God is not blessing us as much as someone that is not nearly as appreciative as we are.

The truth remains there is always someone else out there that is in more need than we are, and in need of a touch and encouragement. Its just a matter of how we choose to perceive our situations. We all do it from time to time!
