I have shared a little about Christiana, Mercy's mom. She is still in the hospital there.Its more like a clinic with beds. She is 63 years old and having issues with her heart. To me it sounds like the blood is not pumping correctly. I am not sure.

Mercy accepted government help to help pay for her college education. In her country unless you can pay the money back, you work for the government for a year. What is involved in that is a very basic military training for three weeks, and then you work in one of the colleges for a year. She was supposed to go to Ajbul on the 6th and could not because of her mom's health. So it is put off until next year.

It has all been very stressful to her. What decision to make etc. But it became no decision when her mom took ill. This isn't a country of good government etc. The nutrition is not always good either. Many factors. Well on the way to see her mom, she passed out and fell and hit a curb to a sidewalk. She hurt her leg. She is just so overwhelmed right now. I would greatly appreciate your prayers for her

When the year 1900 had rolled around in america only 9% of americans could read. How in the world did they ever get saved? How could they possibly have persevered without reading?

Its called faith. Its called intimacy with God, a relationship.

Sometimes I read blogs where its just this long long list of information, and i just wonder ....why?

I read how people are so involved in keeping some sort of law. It didn't help the Prodigal sons brother. He was a line tower, but he didn't know the heart of his own father. If he had, he would have been running with his father to greet his brother. He would have killed the fatted calf himself.

That is, if he had a Love relationship with his father instead of a law relationship.

How many of us as parents sat down with their children at the end of each day and commend our children for being good at being good.

No, a good parent chastises when it happens and forgets about that. They Love their Children because they are your treasure and blessing.

For who knows why, The Lord treasures us. He chastises us in the way that works best with each of us. He created us to have a Love relationship with him. Not to stand behind us and wait for us to do something wrong and whack us.

So why do we let people come up with these long elaborate concepts, when Jesus said it is simple.

Love God with all of yourself.

Be a branch and allow God to flow through you

Give him your yolk, and take his, for it is light.

After Jesus gives atonement you see no born again believers ever delivered from demons

no Christians ever have generational curses removed. Why? Because it was nailed to the cross with Jesus.

I watched "A Walk to Remember" again. I love to see what simple Love can do to transform lives. It never ceases to amaze me.

I have a cat named Billi. She is half bobcat. Stub tail, and extra toes on each paw. She was extremely timid when we first got her. We were very frustrated with her, but after 5 months of just loving her slowly, she started transforming. I noticed even yesterday some more subtle transformations and I was things... wow God, this is truly awesome.

I suppose if I didn't care, I probably would not notice all that much. The transformation seems to be just more trust because of how she is constantly received. She knows we love her so she is comfortable and loving.

I think it is the same way for us as we realize the Lord's love for us and we know he is nurturing us.

Thats why the philosophy of God always out to correct us just does not float with me. God is always loving us and that is what eventually frees us and empowers us to be comfortable in our own skin. Allows us to care about others.

We are just like that cat and do not even know it.
