I do not know what it is about the ocean. Just going there and standing in it for a few hours brings me so much healing. I feel better physically, emotionally and spiritually. Its like it is God's natural spa.

There is something about the Ocean. You stand out in the water, perhaps 4-500 feet out and its up to my neck. I just look out and stare into its vastness. It helps you realize how you are but a grain of sand on this earth, and yet somehow you are significant to the Lord.

When you see the waves forming as they come in, it represents life to me. Little situations that are felt by standing out out there. Some waves are just a swell that just sort of lift you up as they go by. Others are mauling you and moving you back. Some smack you a little, and yet have no lingering effect.

Its just like life, when you constantly are facing the ocean.

Yet when you go with the flow of the waves and rise and see how far you can ride them, thats also life. It s just facing life in a different perspective. Its willing to ride with life and not let it smack you down.

When you ride life's waves, and lose your eyes and say Jesus carry me, its amazing sometimes how far the journey goes. Its like stepping out of trying to always resist. Its trusting him.
