263 Views |  | I went and saw Randy Stonehill, Chris Christian, Archers, Petra, 2nd Chapter of Acts, Archers, Randy Mathews, Dallas Holm, Michael James Murphy, Blackwood Brothers, Russ Taft, but my fav I saw in Concert was Keith Green...... with Michael James Murphy a close second. |

129 Views | Perception is a weird thing. In the Clinton years the unemployment was at 6.3% when he left office and his best was 5.7% Yet they said he had a great economy.

AP - The nation's unemployment rate climbed to a four-year high of 5.7 percent in July as employers cut 51,000 jobs, dashing the hopes of an influx of young people looking for summer work."
People do not realize that raising the minimum wage costs jobs. Minimum wage is a supplental unskilled job. Not a job to live off of. We have had two wage hikes this year in that and it is costing jobs. | |

| How Do ou Do It? |

172 Views | Jesus please tell me just how you make it all look easy,
as in my heart as I reach out my stomach gets queasy.
I want to be more like you when I see all of these needs,
and in love I try to plant all of these loving little seeds.
Before i know it sometimes the burdens all pile up high,
and I am left wondering and asking inside why? Why?
I know that we will never have more than we can take,
so inside its an encouragement to do it for your sake.
But I am so amazed at how you are always there for me,
even though it may not be evident for the people to see.
I know that things dont always happen as I would like,
but trusting in you is a journey and not just a short hike.
God I am so spent inside on this day and I need you here,
my friends are in trouble and all I can do is beg you be near.
One has a marriage that suddenly ended without a chance,
and there was no time to get help as the enemy advanced.
One friend has a tumor and intestinal issues all flaring high,
as she cries and cries in fear and pain and calls for you nigh.
Her son knows not the situation lest he be overcome by fear,
and the fiance hangs tough in prayer... remains lovingly near.
Another waits on her grandmothers time on earth to soon end,
though her mother is against this and wants the life to mend,.
So she gets overwhelmed and tries to her find ways to cope,
and to me it seems that she is grasping at the end of her rope
Then there is a man who already has been living with his MD,
caught in his wheelchair losing his hearing ...soon he wont see.
He begs his friend to find a way to reach out and help him die,
what can she tell him......if your love doesnt engulf him inside?
One has lost her mother and is making her way onward okay,
knowing you are with her in life struggles each step of the way.
She has her inner beauty and reaches out to all of her friends,
and even though she appears healthy.....send your spirit attend.
Another's been mislead by a man allowing her son call him dad,
as he has let inner demons and the past turn him into a cad.
She has waited patiently and now has been beaten up inside,
as her back is against the wall with no place to go or even hide.
Then there is the friend faithful to you in those Carolina hills,
as she has been left for another..yet patiently waited your will.
he's movin back in as he calls it at this point a bussiness deal,
without even considering how this approach makes her feel.
Or the gal out west who was kidnapped for days and raped,
not knowing if he would let her live..... what was to be her fate.
When it went to court his standing and money won the case,
as injustice and the reality of lies believed hit her in the face.
Dear Jesus there is more and more that I can bring up to you,
and then I happily realize that there is nothing you can not do.
Your yolk is always lighter than ours and you tell us this is so,
and request we trade our yolk in for yours...so.make mine go.
Help me to realize that I can not do it without your great love,
I should always rely on my fathers empowerment of above.
Bless the friends that you have put in my life to be friends,
and keep all things in perspective until life here on earth ends.
Thank you God for another day to wake up and see you at work,
remind me always I am a servant and let not responsibility shirk.
But knowing always that I need your Love to make works true,
because if we dont have Love...it doesnt matter what we can do.
