Death Penalty...God's words Mar 26, 2008 7:59 am
130 Views
Genesis 9:6: "Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man."

Man didn't invent the death penalty, so man has no right to abandon it. We live in an age when everyone is far too concerned with "human rights", and God has been practically ignored, as if He had no rights at all.

why are socialists....well just so stupid? Mar 26, 2008 7:53 am
166 Views
Its in the church too. People just blindly follow Preachers and Teachers because they want someone else to be responsible for their spiritual decisions in life.

We as believers are blessed because we are in the New Covenant of Christ. We are under no cursings. That was taken care of at the cross.

If God taught socialism then the talents spoken of in the parable would be given to the people that claimed they could fix all for everyone. No, of course insead it was the responsibility of the people given the talents to use them wisely and to prosper them.

God gives talents and abilities to everyone. Our relationship with him comes down to do we individually receive Jesus Christ. Not...does our community.

We are responsible for our own decisions and our own actions. Does someone else go to jail for you or with you when you break a law that requires punishment? Absolutely not. We are not only responsible for our actions but our lives.

Its just like Children. You love them, but youcan not live their lives for them. Are you helping them use their talent and help them become the best they can be if you always bail them out?

Of course not. Anyone that even thinks that, has no clue in life.

We arent entitled to health care
We arent entitled to a college education
We arent entitled to ajob

Those are things we earn.

Things we are reasponsible for.

I have been there and done it.

It isnt supposed to be easy, but the reward is great when you work hard and get it done. No one will do it for you. Nor should they, or should they have to.

Can you give an account of who Jesus is? Mar 26, 2008 5:16 am
90 Views
Knowing a lot has nothing to do with ones salvation. But the more understanding of who Jesus is, what he did and the completed work on the cross goes a long way when people that do not believe, engage with us.

Do we want to walk away feeling doubt?

Do we want to walk away knowing that you could explain why you believe in a way that even makes sense to the godless person?

Choose your friends wisely Mar 26, 2008 5:11 am

I would never have a friend that is a liberal. They have an easily mislead problem. They never receive facts, because it destroys who they are. It is always called misinformation, because that is the easiest way for them to keep on believing and hating their country.

They have no problem believing the rewriting of history, and trying to Change what really happened. They believe the Constitution is something that changes with time. God's word doesnt change with time and neither did the words of the great Forefathers of this country. They meant what they said.

Proving they did they allowed for ammendments. However amendments to the constitution take time and is a hard process. Not many have been written in 232 years. They meant what they said. Just as we should mean what we say.

Went to the state rally on Property Tax reform Mar 26, 2008 4:59 am
91 Views
They bused people from all around the state. I went just to see what it was about in regards to how the issue was being handled by the protestors. The issue is a good thing to protest, but the way it is being done is just not very well thought out.

It ends up being a preaching to the Choir thing. They had the House Speaker and 3-5 other politicians that are in agreement speak. The problem is everyone there all has the same view and thie votes are already secured.

No one that is against it even showed up, so what is the use?

They need to pay people that live in the area and are in agreement to daily visit the dissenters offices. Set up appointments and continually be on top of them.

They also need to have rally's that last all day and evening so that no one leaves the building without feeling the pressure.

People think that petitions mean anything. They had 150K signatures, given to the politicians already on their side. Here is the thing about petitions. People go out to people to get them. So most of those people arent even considered as a reliable vote by politicians. So does it get their attention? No.

So we think we ae persecuted? Mar 26, 2008 4:45 am

There is nothing that a person can say to me or about me that is going to make me feel persecuted.

There are countries and conditions that if you declare your faih in Jesus Christ that they will either kill you or take away your belonings and take your job from you. That is sacrifice.

Here, people think they are persecuted because of something said about them.Thats not persecution. That is just someone saying something and you being offended. You dont want to experience persecution.

Czech prez: Environmentalism is new communism Mar 25, 2008 3:07 am
177 Views
As the House Energy and Commerce Committee prepares to question former Vice President Al Gore tomorrow morning about global warming, Czech President Vaclav Klaus is warning congressmen that environmental extremism is the modern equivalent of communism.

Responding yesterday to U.S. Rep. Joe Barton, R-Texas, and former House Speaker Denny Hastert, R-Ill., the Czech leader said: "It becomes evident that while discussing climate we are not witnessing a clash of views about the environment, but a clash of views about human freedom."

"As someone who lived under communism for most of my life I feel obliged to say that the biggest threat to freedom, democracy, the market economy and prosperity at the beginning of the 21st century is not communism or its various softer variants," said Klaus, responding to questions posed by the two lawmakers. "Communism was replaced by the threat of ambitious environmentalism."

He added, "The so-called climate change and especially man-made climate change has become one of the most dangerous arguments aimed at distorting human efforts and public policies in the whole world."

In a letter to Klaus, Barton, the committee's ranking Republican, and Hastert, ranking Republican on the Energy and Air Quality Subcommittee, asked the Czech president to comment on global warming, based on his background as an economist and political leader, especially since he is familiar with European responses to global warming.

"We believe your perspective on the political, economic and moral aspects of the climate change debate can be useful as we seek to assess the potential impacts of proposed U.S. climate-related regulations on the economic well-being of its citizens and their ability to contribute to future economic vitality and innovation here and abroad," Barton and Hastert said.

Klaus urges policymakers to rely on free-market principles, not government coercion, in formulating public policy. In his written response to the House committee members, the Czech leader said:

"I warn against adopting regulations based on the so-called precautionary principle which the environmentalists use to justify their recommendations, the clear benefit of which they are not able to prove." Klaus added, "Responsible politics should take into account the opportunity costs of such proposals and be aware of the fact that the wasteful environmentalist policies are adopted to the detriment of other policies, thus neglecting many other important needs of millions of people all over the world. Each policy measure must be based on a cost-benefit analysis."

Last month, Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla., ranking member of the Senate Environment & Public Works Committee, congratulated Klaus for speaking out against the fears of man-made global warming. Klaus had told a Czech newspaper on Feb. 8 that fears of catastrophic man-made global warming were a "myth" and critiqued the U.N.'s report, calling it "political." Klaus also said other government leaders would speak out, but "political correctness strangles their voice."

"President Klaus is to be commended for his courage in speaking not only the truth about the science behind global warming fears, but the reality of the politicization of the U.N.," Inhofe said. "President Klaus's reported comments questioning the fears of catastrophic man-made global warming are in line with a growing chorus of scientists, peer-reviewed literature and government leaders who are finally realizing the true motivations behind climate scares. The scientific and political momentum is clearly shifting away from climate alarmists to climate realists," Inhofe said.

Editor's note: The current global warming frenzy is exposed as never before in the March edition of WND's acclaimed monthly Whistleblower magazine, in an issue titled, HYSTERIA: Exposing the secret agenda behind today's obsession with global warming."

Normal? Hmmmn Mar 25, 2008 3:02 am

A man is holding a child hostage. He has his hand in his coat pocket and says he has a gun on the child and will kill the child. The police tell him to drop the gun. He keeps waving his hand in the coat pocket at the child. The police don’t want the child to be killed. A marksman shoots the man dead. It is discovered that there was no gun in his pocket. He lied. Do you blame the police for killing the man? The liberal media today would blame the police. Normal people would not blame the police; they would blame the man holding the child. Liberals are not normal.

In Iraq, Saddam Hussein was told to destroy his weapons of mass destruction. He had many chances to prove he did not have them. He refused. We got rid of him. Of course, the liberal media blames America first. Any normal person would question why Saddam did not allow the inspectors unfettered access to his country and avoid the war? Liberals are not normal. Is our media even interested in that question? Why not?

The backward thinking of liberals also applies to the death penalty. Instead of asking if the person is guilty of the crime, they complain about the number of minorities that are sentenced to death, as though the lack of diversity of those sentenced to death makes the death penalty illegal. It may make the penalty unfair, but certainly not illegal. It is unfair that only some speeders are stopped by the police and not all of them. Speeding laws are still legal. Any normal person would ask why aren’t more whites sentenced to death and what can we do to make sure, if they are guilty of capital crimes, that they are put to death? Again, liberals are not normal.

President Bush is being attacked by the liberals for not being able to speak the English language. Bush is not the one that does not know the meaning of ''alone'' or ''imminent.'' We are not alone in Iraq. President Bush never used the word ''imminent'' in regard to the threat Iraq posed before the war. Any normal person would know the meaning of those words. Liberals are not normal.

There are many people in the world, who are willing to die to kill Americans. We need to kill those people before they can come to our country. Liberals are complaining about American soldiers being killed in Iraq and that they are sitting ducks. The truth is that any normal American would be safer walking in 95% of Iraq than walking after dark in many major American cities. Our soldiers are in Iraq so that the terrorist threat remains in the Middle East and not on our streets at home. Liberals seem to forget that more than 3,000 Americans died on 9/11. No American has been killed by a terrorist on our homeland since then. The terrorists are flocking to Iraq to try to kill Americans. I would rather have them there, than here. Our soldiers are defending us with their lives. They will kill off the crazies there soon. Any normal person would be grateful for their sacrifice. Liberals are not normal.
