The law keeper, gliding by the people, clothed with the garment of piety, chants the praises of self righteousness.

"Hear Ye, Hear Ye," the voice of dead man's bones rings out in the streets, calling the foolish and simple minded to regard the law.

All who go in there at will taste the kiss of death as they trample on the blood of the righteousness of God. The Innocent lamb who takes away the sins of the world.

Frustrating the grace of God, the law keepers, trample on the Pearl of great price as they go about seeking their own righteousness. Hell is their abode in the end.

Death lingers on the breath of the law keepers who call forth the oracles of religiosity. "Obey the law" they cry in a frenzied Apocryphy.

Old wine skins brittle with the aged old knowledge of good and evil, pore forth the dry lifeless curse from vessels of a false cannon. All who partake thereof will die in their sins.

Grace, grace, the son of righteousness calls to his elect. Where sin abounds there did grace much more abound! The law keepers fall short of this glory! They know not that their time is short.

I am going to take a break for a while from putting up posts with my usual debate issues.

I am busy with exams and assignments right now and I have to get things ready for xmas. I will pop in here and there but take a break from debating.

As many of you know, Merlin Hawk and Gordy have nothing better to do than to follow me around the blogs and harass me 24-7. I have preached the gospel to them both many times

They know that I stand with sola scriptura The just are saved by grace through faith and not of yourselves, IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD and not of works for I have told them many times.

Could I have an opinion from the bloggers who witness this ridiculous spectacle? Should I ban them completely from my blogs or just delete remarks that are not appropriate. I will tally the score after 1 week and leave the decision to blogland. Sweethoney

The annual number of hardcore video rentals in the US has risen from 79m in 1985 to 759m in 2001. Hardcore pornography in the shape of videos, the internet, live s====e===x acts and cable television is now estimated to generate around $10bn, roughly the same amount as Hollywood's US box office receipts.

Americans spend more money at strip clubs than at Broadway, regional theatres and orchestra performances combined. The industry has mushroomed since the 70s, when a federal study found that it was worth little more than $10m.

Now the US leads the world in por======nog======rap===hy; about 211 new films are produced every week. Los Angeles area is the centre of the film boom and many of those in the trade are otherwise respectable citizens.

Nina Hartley, a p=====or=====n star, told Schlosser: "You'd be surprised how many producers and manufacturers are Republicans"

The internet has provided a fresh and profitable outlet. In 1997 about 22,000 porn websites existed; the number is now closer to 300,000 and growing.

HOTEL CHAINS

Marriott, Westin, and Hilton

These major hotel chains all offer in-room X-ra====ted movies delivered to the hotel by one of two major distribution companies, Lodgenet or On Command. Some analysts say these in-room s======e======x movies generate more money for the hotel chains than revenue from the hotels' mini-bars.

"The 5 percent or 10 percent of revenue that the hotel chain gets, that's pure profit to them because they have no cost," says Dennis McAlpine, an entertainment industry analyst

CABLE & SATELLITE COMPANIES

Cable and satellite companies channel por====n=====ogra====phy into millions of homes and take approximately 80 percent of the pay-per-view dollar that gets spent by the consumer, according to Bill Asher, president of Vivid Entertainment, which produces adult movies.

AT&T - Comcast

AT&T's cable division, AT&T Broadband, distributed to subscribers the explicit porn channel, The Hot Network. But At&T sold its cable company and its connection to po=====rno=====grap======hy to Comcast.

For AT&T, por==========n distribution had been great business, but there was no mention of adult material in the company's annual report, nor how much it contributed to the company's bottom line.

In the spring of 2001, an interfaith coalition of religious leaders brought their concerns about AT&T's connection to porn directly to the top at AT&T. Cardinal William Keeler, co-chairman of the Religious Alliance Against Por========no=======graphy, met with AT&T Chairman C. Michael Armstrong, and told him, "Ma Bell shouldn't be selling smu=====t." Keeler says that "when a company like AT&T, which has won the hearts and allegiance of so many, gets into this business, it's a way of legitimating it, saying it's OK, it's alright. That's the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval we don't want to see put on this kind of business."

While AT&T refused to grant FRONTLINE an interview about The Hot Network, the company had publicly stated its position. It said that competitive pressures with companies like General Motors, which owned rival service DirecTV, was keeping AT&T in the business.

General Motors at one time owned the national satellite distribution service DirecTV, which channels pornography into millions of American homes for a nice profit. But General Motors sold its stake in DirecTV to Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation which continues to offer po====rnog=====rap=======hy channels.

But ran into trouble in early 2001 when it announced that it was opening a virtual s====e======x shop where millions of users could buy ha====rdco=====re videos and DVDs. The anti-po======r=====nogr======a=======phers' assault began.

"I think what Ya------ho=========o! did was go one step beyond and say, 'OK, my customers want to see s======e=====x, I'll make it easier for them, and I'll categorize it," says Dennis McAlpine, an entertainment industry analyst. "Here's bes----tia=====lity, here's whips and chains, here's whatever." Overnight Ya===---ho====o! was bombarded by hundreds of thousands of email complaints. "The very next day, Yahoo! made some statement that they were getting out of this business, that they would no longer sell hard-cor=======e videos and were going to clean up their si===========te," says Patrick Trueman, former chief of the U.S. Dept. of Justice's Chi====ld Exploitation and Ob=======sc=====enity Section. Trueman protested Ya=====ho=====o's actions in a letter to U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft.
