I have noticed that some people put up several blogs and thereby not giving enough time for other people's blog to be read.If you have alot to say why not put it on one blog or at the most two per day? The Emerging Church Movement-Is it of God?

The Emerging Church Movement defines itself as a postmodern Christian worldview.In order to understand what this means exactly we must define the concept of post modernism. This is the main key to understanding what this movement is really about.
Postmodernism rejects the modernist idea of scientific absolutes, recognizing that science does not have all the answers to explain human reality, but instead embraces individual subjective truth as relevant to a personal reality. In other words your truth may not be my truth but it is ok to believe your truth because there is no objective truth to base our lives upon.Clearly this concept in itself is contrary to scripture. Postmodernism accepts personal experience over abstract principles.
The bible teaches us that the world was framed by the word of God,for he said,"Let there be light and there was light." This "big bang" was constructed by scientific principals in the natural realm but spiritually speaking,it was God who was behind it all.Scientific principals are reality.Objective.Only God can over ride them.Many cultures, do to ignorance, explain creation through myths,stories and metaphors, but this "reality" is subjective.A personal truth that is really only the imaginations of the minds of men.
In fact,the definition of truth in itself,shows us that truth is objective.
Webster's Dictionary: Truth-"a fact that has been verified,conformity to reality or actuality"
The point I am making is that the Emerging Church Movement embraces as their foundation the postmodernist world view which in itself is a fallisy.Therefore,since the roots of this movement come from a secular academic mindset,why are we as the Church of Jesus Christ adhering to it? We are called to be seperate unto God,a peculiar people,and not conformed to this world.
How does the Emerging Church doctrine differ from biblical teaching? First of all,the word of God is seen as only a means of pointing mankind to "God’s unique individual revelation." according to Peter Schumacher,rather than the infallable word of God who was incarnated in the flesh! All scripture is God breathed.
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." II Tim.3:16
The bible is not subject to individual private interpretation." Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." II Tim. 1:20,21
Another problem with emerging Church doctrine is the preaching of the cross,Jesus Christ's sacrifice as the only means of salavation.The Emerging church leaders have stated their position."Those who do not know Christ may still be saved." says Dallas Willard and " ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me’ actually means, ‘I am in the way of people seeking truth and life. I wont let anyone get to God unless he comes through me.’”Brian McLaren
"What I think I can say is, and this is where I get into trouble, I’m not so sure that when this life is over that all possibilities for salvation are over.”Tony Campolo
Many more type of blasphemous statements are made by these leaders of the Emerging Church movement.
Why as the body of Christ are we not questioning these things?The answer? We are now in the time of the great falling away and the harlot church is being formed.This church will be a united body of all faiths that will be headed up by the false prophet and controled by the beast.True Christians will be persecuted.Seen as narrow minded bigots.This false church mentality has invaded evangelicalism and we will see even more subtle ways that the enemy of our souls will lead believers astray and "convert" people to themselves.
"Come out of her my people" says the Lord" that you be not be partaker of her plagues." Rev. 18:4
"I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ." Galations 1:6-10

Purpose Driven Deception

Rick Warren has many scriptural errors in his book,"The purpose Driven Life" that is filled with new age philosophies twisting scripture to fit into his doctrines.The bible calls us as Christians to "Test the spirits" and to "Prove all things" (I John 1-4, I Thess.5:21)
" There are no accidents—God planned everything and everyone. Therefore, every human has a divine purpose, according to God’s master plan." says Warren who teaches that the Bible supports the
idea that "We are all one,"
"We must change ourselves." Rick Warren says in in his book." We must change the beliefs upon which our behaviors are based. We must create a different reality, build a new society…. We must do so with new spiritual truths. We must preach a new gospel, its healing message summarized in two
sentences: We are all one.
Does the bible really say this? No it does not.The word of God clearly differentiates between the children of light and the children of darkness.
" Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, becausethere is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not." John 8:44,45
" For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth
Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light."Ephesisn 5:5-14
"Ours is not a better way," says Rick Warren" ours is merely another way."
Another way??? There is no other way but God's way.

Rick Warren's Global P.E.A.C.E. Plan is it Scriptural?

" How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is in vain.
The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the LORD; and what wisdom is in them?
Therefore will I give their wives unto others, and their fields to them that shall inherit them: for every one from the least even unto the greatest is given to covetousness, from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.
For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace." Jeremiah 8:8-11
This false peace teaching is what the bible equates with a False prophet.There will be no peace until Jesus Christ comes back and sets up his kingdom on earth during the millenium reign.In fact brethren we will see wars and rumours of wars until the final battle at Armaggedon.What arrogance to try to fill the shoes of the Prince of Peace and do his job!No body but Our Lord Jesus Christ will bring peace on this earth.
Brethren,the bible says that in the last days a false prophet will arise and decieve many. Now I am not saying that Warren is that guy but I will say that he operates in that same spirit. This false prophet that the bible talks about will organize a world religion united as one.The theme will be "world peace," and rejection of Jesus as the only way to salvation.True Christians will be persecuted.Read the book of Revelations concerning this.
Let me show you what Warren has said, you can find this information yourself if you research on the internet.These are quotes that are recorded from the man's mouth.False accusation can result in liability so when quotes are made...they are real quotes.This was stated to the Philadelphia Inquirer,as comming from Warren.. "Warren predicts that fundamentalism, of all varieties, will be one of the big enemies of the 21st Century. 'Muslim fundamentalism, Christian fundamentalism, Jewish fundamentalism, secular fundamentalism-they're all motivated by fear. Fear of each other."
In other word ,those who are believwers in the fundamental truths of the bible will be enemies of this movement,which many fundamentalsts including myself believe is a false gospel.
The harlot in the book of revelations is a false church that decieves many in the last days.This movement is a part of what the bible calls "the great falling away" from the truth before anti-christ is revealed.
"Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

Are you really saved?

This may seem like a redundant question in light of the fact that we are on a Christian site. However,the bible does say...."Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates. Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates.
8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth. II Cor.13:5-8
I purpose a question to you.How do you know that you are really a Christian and not a reprobate?
In the legal feild,when presenting an arguement,one must know extensively all points that are applicable to your case,you must have sufficent knowlege of your subject matter; this requires producing evidence based on fact( a proven point)that is logical,sound,and convincing.
Webster's dictionary for Reprobate(unsaved)
Definition:
1. disreputable: disreputable or immoral
2. religion damned: having a soul that is believed to be damned
Why would Paul ask you to examine yourself? The answer...because not all believers are really the diciples of Jesus Christ.Can an orange produce grapefruits? No! Why is that? Simply because an orange tree can only produce fruit after its own kind.For example,do you remember what Paul said about false Prophets? He said that "they started out with us but were not really of us for if they were then they would have continued with us."
Also Paul says,"And that because of false Brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage: To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you." Galatians 2:4,5
These false brethren have an agenda,they are servants of Satan(knowingly or unknowingly)who try to bring real Christians from the liberty of the gospel under the bondage of the law. Signs of a false brethern(fruit) THEY CARRY A BIG RELIGIOUS STICK. They absolutely hate the joy of the Lord and the liberty that real christians have. The are sour,bitter,angry,under the law.All bound up in religiousity and they want to ensnare you into their trap.Many of them actually believe they are saved but alas they are not, but are even as Cain, trying to obtain God's favor by the works of the law. TASTE NOT,HANDLE NOT,TOUCH NOT...That is why Jesus said to test the fruit.This is how we know who is a real Christian and one who is a false brethren.The friut they produce.
How do you know you are really saved?
Are you in Christ?Does the spirit of God really live in you? How do you know?
The motive of love and a pure heart is to share the truth of the gospel.Love in and of itself is only an emotion.If I really love you then I want you to know the truth that will set you free.Jesus put aside his emotion to do the father's will. "Lord,if it be possible make this cup pass from me,nevertheless not my will but thine be done." Does sharing the truth always mean popularity? On the contrary,just ask John the Baptist,Jeremiah,Elijah,even all the Apostles who were murdered for their faith.Ask all the persecuted Christians in the world who die daily for Jesus Christ.
North American Christians want to hear about.."love" and "peace" and "Don't judge me." but what did Peter say? "Repent and be converted that your sins may be blotted out."
What did Jesus say? "If any man will serve me let him take up his cross and follow..."
Brethren,we are in the last days!The church is liberal,luke warm,apathetic,idoltorous!Many and I mean many false brethren have invaded the Church. They hide among us,lying wait to entrap the redeemed.Know them! Test the fruit! Test your own fruit!

Down to the Potter's House I go,
Directed by the Lord.
To see his hand upon my life
to see my just reward.

Upon the Potter's wheel I went,

Are you under the Law or under Grace?

As I have been reading some of the debates on these blogs, it seems to me that the main disagreement is between law and grace. How the old Testament fits into our lives.Has the law been abolished? If not exactly what does that mean for us today? Now,my stand on the subject may differ from yours and that is ok.I still love you! However,I am entitled to my opinion and to voice it.I try to base my decisions in regard to doctrine on the scriptures and not on the traditions of men.Some of my doctrinal beliefs may not be quite as traditional as some Christians' but my feelings on the matter are that the argument with the weightiest evidence is the one I will adhere to.Even if that means going against the grain.I love and respect all my brothers and sisters in Christ even if I do not agree with them.I will,however,share what I believe the scriptures say on matters.That is where I am accountable before the Lord and one must rationally understand my feelings on the matter in this regard. So....to get the ball rolling.I will present a question to you.
Why is it that some Christians will accept being under the law in regards to the tithe but reject one of the ten commandments like keeping the Sabbath? Espeshially, when the New Testament no where commands Christians to religiously give 10 percent of your income to the local church? That does not mean that giving has been abolished but adhering to a legalistic way of giving that was Old Testament based is in effect going back to being under the law.Now,this way of giving is very much a tradition and one knows how hard it is to break a tradition!The question that I am asking to you my brethren,is are you under law or grace? Do you religiously keep laws or are you led by the Spirit of God in everything that you do? Has the Lord told you personally to give 10 percent of you income or has he asked you to give 20? maybey 50?
Do you religiously give and pass the accountability of your giving on to the preacher or do you pray about your giving and give as the Lord directs you?Like maybey to that single mom next door who could use an extra 100 dollars for groceries or the street guy that you could take out for a nice dinner? What about the little children your heart goes out to who go to bed hungry at night and that outreach money you can't afford to give to because your "tithe" has to go every Sunday religiously to something else? Being under the law means being led by rules and regulations but being led by the Spirit in all that you to do is life and liberty in Christ Jesus!!If you are giving out of a religious observation then you are not really giving unto the Lord but giving out of neccesity as the scriptures say, (because it is expected of you)God loves a cheerful giver,friend,one who gives from the heart!

Apologetics Group.......Whats up.

I was thinking about forming this group for those interested in apologetics to discusss and share points of view.Rather than posting on this main blog thread. Although, I may address issues here and there. The purpose is to bounce things off each other,learn new positions,(who can research on everything themselves?)share with each other in order to be equipped better in witnessing in our individual lives.I am not interetsed in arguing with people who base their belief systems on supposition rather than researching the matter for themselves.Often I will play devils's advocate to prove a point.
Arguing and debate can be done graciously and with respect for one another.Getting offended because someone does not believe the way you do is rather immature.Paul pointed out in scripture that "If any man be ignorant,let him be ignorant." that is the motto I live by.
However,one must prayerfully try to reach people with the truth.This may get some folks upset but love wants to see people come out of deception and embrase the true gospel of Jesus Christ.Jesus himself said "Be careful what you hear." In other words,examine what you are listening to.
Solomon wrote "Only a fool believes everything he hears." This is interesting in light of the fact that people base there belief systems on "hearsay" rather than evidence. What would happen if our courts did that? We need to as Apologetists, challenge people's belief systems.Even Christians.If you have the truth then you should be able to defend it. Sweethoney

Upon the horizon the dark clouds began to roll slowly into sight.They were intense with sinister energy,waiting to be released upon the earth.
Below little children played in the park and fathers and mothers watched peacefully on as the children laughed and froliced in the daylight.
Little did they know that the storm was comming.Once in a while,however, a child would look up and question the darkness slowly moving across the sky, but when curiosity was satiated by the common sence of the earth,then the thought of dark clouds was pushed into the background.
Laughter filled the park,songs,and jubulation,for it was really a pleasant day after all.No one wanted to look way over towards the sinister clouds inching their way ever so slowly but surely towards the park.Who would want the pleasure of this moment to pass with thoughts of evil and deadly devises on such a beautiful day? No, we will play and enjoy ourselves for it has always been this way since the beginning.
The sounds of gaiety rang out from the park.The roses were in bloom and the sweet melody of robins resounded through the trees; still those dark clouds pushed forward.But no one really noticed.
So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
