For a protein to form and replicate there must be DNA. But, DNA can not form unless there are proteins. Neither one can exist without the other and be able to replicate. Scientists do not try to explain this, they assume that it just happened and base their theories on this and other assumptions. Proteins and DNA are both very complex molecular forms that make up life. There is no way proteins and DNA could have randomly formed. Yep, they were created by our LORD

I do not have enough faith to believe in evolution!

If you were being tried by a jury for being a Christian, would you be found guilty?

We are the only Jesus some people will ever see Sep 27, 2006 7:24 pm

Donald was working on the same project I was in Leiden, Holland some years ago. He approached me, letting me know he was gay and wanted to hangout with me. After that day I avoided him. About two weeks later on a Monday morning I came into work and learned that Donald had gotten into a wreck on his motorcycle on Saturday and had been decapitated. My spirit grieved when I heard this. I started thinking about how Donald was not saved and how I could have been a vehicle who God used to witness to him, but because of my judgmental attitude I did not allow this to happen. I learned from this that for some people we are the only Jesus they will ever see.

A Sunset Provides an Illustration of Un-Forgiveness Sep 26, 2006 10:02 pm
Mood: thoughtful, 302 Views
During the summer in Phoenix Arizona it is nice to hike in the evening just before sunset. Recently I was coming down off a mountain and I saw Two bright lines of light shinning through some very dark clouds that were separated by a very black cloud. The rays of light were of equal length, blocked off at the top and bottom by dark clouds. Only the two lines of light stood out separate and distinct from the dark clouds. The LORD impressed upon me when I saw this, that these two bright rays of light shining represented two Christians or groups of Christians and how darkness (Devil) often comes between them to causes disharmony or a lack of unity. This is the devils objective, to divide Christians and families and to cause disharmony. This disharmony weakens the effectiveness of ministries, destroys relationships between people, and ruins their witnesses.

It is so easy for us to judge and find fault with things and in people. Some people can go to a beautiful concert and hear one wrong note, walk out of the concert and all they remember is the one wrong note. They make like comments to others like, “Did you hear the bad note?” The thousands of beautiful notes have been forgotten and only the negative is discussed. It is so much easier to find fault than see the good. Easier to talk trash than give praise. Easier to focus on peoples faults than speak to others of their good points. Not many of us are very good at forgiving those who have wronged them. Our anger and pains have become apart of us and we feel we need to carry this excess baggage with us. Many of us would be lost without our baggage. It is our pain. They are our hurts. I was wronged and they need to be judged. I was wronged, why should I forgive and forget, they were the ones in the wrong. Joseph was a man who was wronged more by his brothers than most of us will ever experience. I think Joseph had to go through a process of forgiveness to be able to tell his brothers, who sold him into slavery and wanted him dead, “As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive” (Gen. 50:20). Scripture teaches, that we must forgive those who we feel have wronged us or God will judge this same issue in our own lives. "For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you. "Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? "Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' and behold, the log is in your own eye? "You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye. (Matt. 7:2-5).

Christianity has been taught in many of our churches in a very sugar coated manner for the last 40 years. Yes God is a God of LOVE, grace and mercy, but He is also a righteous Judge. Many Christians think that by accepting Christ as their Savior that they have their ticket to heaven (get out of Hell pass) and everything will be wonderful--they have escaped judgment. But according to Paul, Christians “must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad” (2 Cor 5:10). Before we experience the wonderful, all Christians will come before the judgment seat of Christ. This is consistent with our God being a righteous Judge who must have payment for sins (even though He makes the payment Himself through the sacrifice of His Son). Paul talks about the coming judgment of Christians, stating, “You, then, why do you judge your brother? Or why do you look down on your brother? For we will all stand before God's judgment seat. It is written: " 'As surely as I live,' says the Lord, 'every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God.' So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God” (Romans 14:10-12). It should put the fear of God in us to think of coming before Christ at the Judgment seat (BEMA SEAT)and having our wrongs, our lack of forgiveness towards others who we feel have wronged us, etc. exposed, and judged. The issue of un-forgiveness is serious. Christ tells us more than once in the Gospels that we are to forgive and if we do not forgive then God will not forgive these sins: For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. (Matt. 6:14) And again in Mark Jesus says, "Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your transgressions ( Mark 11:25-26). How the two rays of light, I saw when coming off the mountain, were cut off at the tops reminded me of these two verses. The sins Christ refers to are those in a specific situation, He is not addressing all of our sins. And of course this has nothing to do with our salvation. The two rays of light can represent children of God who are loved by God, but unreconciled with each other--separated from each other. How the rays of light were cut off at the top was an illustration to me of how we cut off God through our un-forgiveness in specific relationships and both parties can still be His children.

Forgiveness is good for us Spiritually, emotionally and physically. Our lack of forgiveness affects our relationship with God and with people. Lack of forgiveness results in frustration, anger and bitterness, which can upset the chemical balance of our bodies and can cause physical problems. The primary person we hurt when we do not forgive is OURSELVES! People view things differently and it can sometimes result in frustration, anger and conflict. From our perspective we can easily justify how another has wronged us. But there are always two sides, two perspectives to every story. By forgiving we move beyond our hurts and pain into the realm of accepting and loving people. Forgiving provides healing for our mind, body and spirit. It was not until Job had prayed for his accusers that God restored him “After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD made him prosperous again and gave him twice as much as he had before (Job 46:10).” God commanded Job to pray for his accusers and I think had to forgive them to pray for them. This has been a lesson I have applied in my life many times and it has helped me on my journey.

Something Funny happened at "The Funeral" Sep 26, 2006 9:16 pm
Mood: happy, 263 Views
As a young minister, I was asked to conduct a graveside funeral for a homeless man who had no relatives and no friends. The funeral was to be held at a cemetery way back in the country, and this was the first man to be laid to rest there.

As I was not familiar with the backwoods, I became lost; and being a typical man, did not stop for directions. I finally arrived an hour late.
Then I spotted a backhoe and the crew who was eating lunch, but the hearse was nowhere in sight. I apologized to the workers for my tardiness and stepped to the side of the open grave, where I saw the vault lid already in place. I assured the workers that I would not hold them up for long, but this would be the proper thing to do.

The workers gathered around still eating their lunch. I poured out my heart and soul. As I preached, the workers began to say "amen," "praise the lord," and glory." I preached and I preached like I'd never preached before from Genesis all the way to Revelations. I closed the lengthy service with a prayer and walked to my car.

As I was opening the door and taking off my coat, I heard one of the workers say to another, "I ain't never seen nothing like that before and I've been putting in septic tanks for twenty years."

Do you have enough faith to believe in Evolution? Sep 26, 2006 1:46 pm

I don't!
Results from life science research has shown that for life to form randomly there must be huge concentrations of Proteins. Even for an individual protein to form huge concentrations of left handed amino acids and right handed sugars are required. To form a protein, billions of left handed amino acids are required. If just ONE right handed amino acid is present it will: (1) disrupt the folding of the protein, (2)prevent the DNA from binding in its double Helix structure, (3) Block the capacity of the Protein to function and (4) prevent the protein from replicating. In addition, Billions of right handed sugars are required to form Proteins. If just ONE left handed sugar is present it will also: (1) disrupt the folding of the protein, (2)block the capacity of the Protein to function, (3) prevent the DNA from binding in its double Helix structure and (4) prevents replication of the protein.

In nature left handed amino acids occur as often as right handed. There are 50% right and 50% left handed. The statistics are similar to whether a coin will land heads or tails when tossed. In fact, Calculations have shown handedness does not exceed 50% by more than 10**-17 (this mean 10 to the minus 17th power which is 0.00000000000000001), or in simple terms, half are right- and the rest have left-handedness. So in nature the environment is not correct to form any proteins. Scientists have been trying to create an environment for decades where proteins could form randomly and no research performed in the ideal conditions of a laboratory have been able to form a protein. Dr. William Bonner worked for 25 years trying to make exclusively ONE handed amino acids and was never able to find a way to produce all left handed amino acids. The best scientists have ever been able to accomplish was 70%, and this was by using radiation to kill the other 30%. The results have shown that exclusive handed amino acids and sugars could not occur on earth. In short, scientists are admitting that Evolution could not have happened on earth.

Since proteins can not formed on earth most life scientists think they were formed somewhere else and brought to earth. Billions of dollars have been spent to learn how life formed. The results of this research has convinced the vast majority of life scientists that life had to form Extra- terrestrially. Much of the research done by NASA and it European scion (ESA) over the last 20 years has been to find the source of life through investigations in space. These investigations also have not been successful so many life scientists are thinking life came from Alien life forms.

No, I do not have enough faith to believe in Evolution.
I put my faith in the Creator described in the Bible.

Please let me know if this is interesting to you, because there are other new results from scientific research that I can share pointing to a Creator and away from evolution. A Creator who is much more complex than we can even comprehend. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts (Isa. 55:9).
