About an hour's less that is!!!

Here where I live (Pennsylvania...USA) we follow Daylight Savings Time.....so that means bye-bye to one good hour....gee, that's not fair!!! There's just so much I can do in an hour!!

For most it's one less hour of sleep....for me.... it's one less hour to have fun!!

Hope you won't miss me much!!

Upon this mountain I did climb and what do I find,
A place to breath deep, relax, and unwind.
The air though a bit thin and cold is oh so clear,
Up here on God's mountain, to Him do I feel near.

This wondrous wilderness, such beauty at Heaven’s gate,
As I listen to the peace, quiet, and solitude it sure makes me contemplate.
Huge, fluffy snowflakes, start falling from a gray beautiful sky,
I wonder if again I'll ever be loved and adored before I die.

I need someone to care about me, someone thoughtful and kind,
Someone who realizes I am always on his mind;
A man to take and hold my hand and walk with me through life,
Going through its ups, its downs, and dealing with its strife.

A person to grow old with, as we wrinkle and turn gray,
Someone to snuggle up with in the night, until my dying day.
Maybe to find this one to love is not to be my fate,
But I am hopelessly romantic, so patiently I wait.

Hey everybody.....It's Friday!! And you're all invited to my party to relax, unwind, enjoy and have a little fun.



We need lots of things to get this party started....such as food and drinks, games, music, movies....and whatever else is your favorite get-together thing!!!



I'm whipping up some fabulous desserts for us right now....a few Strawberry Shortcakes, Banana Cream Pies, and Triple-layer Chocolate Cakes, frosted with fluffy chocolate icing....yummy!!



Sooooooooooo, what will you bring? It can be anything!!

For me.........I Act Like I'm 23 Years Old

I'm a twenty-something at heart, feel like an adult, and am optimistic about life. I feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences. But I'm still figuring out my place in the world and how I want to live life. The world is full of possibilities, and I can't wait to explore many of them.

Are we stupid in finding the "One" meant for us? Perhaps we are!

He's/she's right here under our nose....within arms reach.....or in this case just a click away and we just don't know it? Maybe it's because we don't even bother to try!! Maybe it's merely because we are way too shy!!

Often we get stuck in a rut with our preconceived ideas about love and dating that it scares us, which prevents us from the life God wants us to live....a happy, fruitful, forever-loving, shared life!

Perhaps, we pray for him or her to be revealed to us and what happens? Nothing......is how we perceive it!

Others may wondering if we should even pray or if God is listening? Of course.....though it is us who cannot hear or see His message.

So, to this conclusion, then do we often overlook the diamond in the rough? It seems evident!

Be honest with yourself, are you waiting for him or her to find you, are you distracted and don’t pick up on "subtle" social cues that would indicate someone is attracted to you, ignoring them or do you investigate?

Would you go fishing but not know when you had a fish on the line? And once you realized it, you wouldn't know how to reel it in? And if you managed to somehow get the fish into the boat, you wouldn't know what to do with it? Rather, you'd immediately toss it back....thus forgetting in the first place for what you went fishing!

So, perhaps if we're going to find the love of our lives....

Especially the guys, they need to start actively looking instead of waiting for the girls to find them. Send a few emails or ask questions....check out those "mysterious" cues.....take a chance, don't be distracted with your own inhibitions......find out for sure, be in the moment and ask God's guidance!!!

For us ladies....we just need to send out more cues to let him know we've got some interest and perhaps they might have a chance!! We know what's important to us and how to follow our hearts, but we also need God's guidance and blessing.

Rest assured we will get an answer if we do our part, then ask...."Lord, is this the one???"

Has anyone noticed how our fellow bloggers have either left, leaving for good, or are on an extended break. Just in a short span of two weeks, my list has dwindled by 10 fellow bloggers!! Wow!! That's a mighty many considering these bloggers were a daily welcome, and now they will be missed!!!

So does it at all make you wonder whether you should stay or you should go? What makes you stay?
