Why is it that whenever I post a second blog in a day only one will appear on the blog page? Is it perhaps because I am a standard member?

Does this happen to anyone else?

Yeah......now watch it not work as I'm complaining and both posts will show up!!!

Well, with good intentions, I'm guessing many of you have learned I've been under the weather lately.

Anyone who suffers from allergies can sympathize with me when I say I suffered a pretty bad attack. It's amazing how our bodies tell us no, no, no to certain foods, or pets, and even medicines!!

This is nothing new for me, as when I was born and began feeding on grains, I was diagnosed being allergic to wheat, barley, and rye. I wasn't able to have bread, cookies, cake, pancakes, you name it, if it's made with flour I couldn't have it. As the years passed, our bodies change and lots of times our allergies can become dormant or are diminished.

Later in life I came to know that I'm also allergic to oats, soy, and anything artificial, additives, etc. Soooooooo for a long long time I've eaten just natural whole foods.....nothing that comes in a box or a can, a bag or a bottle.

Yuck.......tell me about it!!

Anyhow, we had a family get-together for a combined birthday and parent's anniversary party. One of the meat dishes contained a combination of everything I'm allergic to!!! I didn't ask as usual, just figured, it's meat....it's safe!!! Sooooooo......it hit me pretty hard. I'll spare you the details.

But I'm fine.....just have to rest! I did learn today I've got a nice new list of allergies!!! So I have to change my lifestyle and eating habits!!! Again there will be no more pizza or cake or cookies, or even a sandwich!!! My flour allergy has been reactivated from diminished status!!! It's okay, because I really only consumed two or three flour products a week so it won't be that hard to give them up all together.

The one very good thing about all this is I can still have ICE CREAM.......Hooray!! And the other thing is thank God I'm still alive!!

Sooooooooo.........now you know one of my little secrets that I don't really tell people!! It may sound silly, but through experience.....lots of people just don't understand. I've actually had an occasional person here and there purposely disguise their meal just to confirm I'm allergies.....how sick I say!!!! So I must confess, I usually don't eat anything when I go anywhere, unless I'm in control of what exactly it is I'm eating!!

So does anybody else out there have food allergies or am I the only one???

I haven't been blogging like usual and many of you are wondering why!!! Ummmm.....well, no reason other than I just don't feel up to it.....you know how it gets.....so I'm taking a several days tiny break. I will be replying to emails, though, it's just that I've gotten so many it's difficult to keep up. So hang in there!!

Certain situations such as the loss of life is an area I'm not good at dealing with!!!!

I don't know quite what to say....though compassionately my heart breaks and grieves right along with family members and friends of even strangers!!

So, is it you??? Do you lie? Are you a good or bad liar? Wanna find out for sure?



1. How often do you lie?
a Every now and then. At least once a month.
b All the time - sometimes just for practice

2. If you needed to lie about where you were, you would:
a Give some details without going overboard - and remember them later
b Be vague. You figure it's only a half lie.
c Give a lot of details. You figure the bigger the story, the harder to disbelieve.

As for me, I'm a tiny liar! If I do lie on purpose, since it's rare, it can be quite convincing....so I can be a good liar. I most likely haven't gotten caught due to the fact that I don't make a habit of it.
