For me, I'm 5'2"..........hey, who just snickered about my height???? I know I'm kind of, sort of shortish!!! But if I wear heels, I can be about 5'4" or 5'5"......I think!

Anyhow.....what my height says about me is that....

I am a very vulnerable and spiritual person. My emotions run deep.
I have a philosophical and poetic soul. I think things through and am a bit of a skeptic.

I tend to be very opinionated. I am a bit of a perfectionist with high standards. I prefer to work alone. I work hard, and I don't like a great deal of unnecessary interruptions while working on important things.

I am about as tall as the average Japanese woman.

Yes. It does matter. Better looking, always get better treatment!

Wow.....don't know what's still going on but accessing BC just hasn't cleared up.....going through another internet provider and dial up....which is a great pain I can at least connect and be here!!!

HOORAY!!!

So we'll see how often and how long!!

It's only been a week or so, but it sure does seem like a year!!

So, how is everyone???

OMG.....it's so odd not having access to this site. But things are what they are.....I'm visiting my sister and using her internet access today, she has a different company than I because most of my neighbors have the same and the route which it takes to get to BC, well, there is a glitch in one of the servers or routers......it's something I cannot fix!!! Hopefully somebody out there will fix it soon.

So in the meantime I went to another site..........no friends there.....yeah, I could make a bunch fast.....but they're not the friends here......and the atmosphere is sooooooooooooo different!!! No fun!!!

I miss everyone!!!

I won't be responding to this post......but just pretend I said something awesome!!!

Hopefully the problem will be fixed as quickly as it came and I can resume!!!

Oh, and P.S............about Rockdog50....yep, he's right about posting on my behalf....that sure was nice of him.....and yup, there's nothing between us except friendship! Darn....skunked again!!! Seriously, Rocky is really a nice man and he certainly is musically talented!!! A great person to get to know, someone easy to love, and easy to get along with! Good luck Rocky.....she's out there somewhere!!

Anybody Else Had Trouble Not Accessing BC? Oct 19, 2008 11:31 pm

Gee, I was in the middle of posting reply comments on my blog when all of a sudden I got a "Timed Out" notice and after that I've not been able to call up this site until now....about 1:30 a.m. Monday!!!

But I can't leave any comments because all I get is "click to listen" instead of that number. Soooooooo....this is all very odd.

Anybody out there have similar problems lately? I only noticed this trouble when whatever changes happened where the new advertisement displays at the top of the screen. Wonder if that has anything to do with it or not.

Anyhow......so I can't send emails and I can't post any comments or replies right now! I'm sure it will clear up in a day or so....hopefully. We'll see!!

Soooooo if you've been wondering where I've been.....it's an access problem!

What Do You Do When You've Set Your Heart And Mind On Someone.... Oct 14, 2008 7:01 am

......and it's gone nowhere?

I know a lot of us gals.....and even the guys have done this, including me!!

You know, George Harrison said, "It's going to take a whole lot of spending money, plenty of it to do it right," in his song titled "I've Got My Mind Set On You" and that's great if things are mutual between the two, gee, and what girl wouldn't want her guy to treat her right by spending loads of money on her and having his mind set on her....as long as he had it to spend and his whole mind to occupy!!!

But for those of us who went ahead and starting thinking......"This time I know it's real, the feeling that I feel. I know if I put my mind to it I know I could really do it." Hmmmmmmmmm.......and so you know what happened....we set our heart and mind on someone, and it went nowhere or didn't work out or started to work and then they hit the road!

What now? What's the best way to get them off our mind and out of our heart......then again, should we???? If we think they're really worth it, should we try as we might to make it happen?

There are so many of us who are in this same boat at one time or another....what's your take on this???

I'll let you know as we go a few hints that I've gotten when I worked with a group for a college field study on what were their thoughts!!
