Oh dear, not been this tired for a long time, starting to sleep during the day and also sleeping for about 9 to 10 hours at night.
I'm sorry to bother you all but I would really appreciate some prayer to give me some energy; feeling a little bit down.
I think I have been running on adrenaline for quite a while and maybe it's just catching up on me.
Thank you so much and God bless

How can a life change?

How can a life change from being hopeless and loveless? How can a moment change from being sad and desolate? How can we chase our dreams when we are pressed down with cares?
We can transform our lives by saying I love you Lord! Carry me until I can walk again Feed me, until I have grown again Love me, until I can love myself
Then, can a life change

Operation Over and all is well,

J is out of his operation and doing well in intensive care. He's had a blood transfusion and is looking rather pale but the surgeon said the operation went very well, with no problems at all.
I shed more than a few tears, probably of relief. I've held it together, by God's grace for quite a while, but today I'm very tired and very emotional, though also very thankful to the surgical team, to all the nursing staff, for giving him such great care.
I can already see a change in his physical appearance, his shoulders are even and also his hips are now aligned and his back is straighter. He has grown about 3 cms during the two ops...he will be so proud of that!
Thank you once again for all your support and prayers, you have all helped us so much, God is so good and I feel priviledged to know you all. I don't have any family around me, so your support and encouragement has meant a great deal.
Please count on my support and prayers, in the future, should you need it.
God bless

I'm off to the hospital in a little while, this is the last operation for J, my son and I am so glad that things are going well for him. He is eating well, walking and being a typical teenager! lol
The operation is tomorrow morning, which is Wednesday, about 9 am and will be an all day one again. I would really appreciate your prayers again, if J comes through this op as successfully as the last one, then I count us as a very fortunate family indeed!
I thank God for carrying us through this and for giving us such hope. God is so Good, I cannot praise Him enough.
I'll speak soon and let you know how J is progressing. Many Thanks for all your powerful prayers and thoughts.
God bless

Shoes

You know, I don't want to be serious today, I want to be frivolous, so I am gonna talk about shoes....yes shoes...lol
I have a penchent for shoes, many styles and heights and spiky heels and funky wedges and flip flop types and trainers and well, the list just goes on and on.
The best buy I ever had in the shoe department was a pair of Chloes.....they were 350 pounds, marked down to 30 pounds. I nearly hyperventilated when I saw how much they had gone down to..lol I held them, and touched them and thought gosh, could I really own a pair of shoes like these and well, I did. I bought them for myself for my birthday. I have never owned a pair of shoes like them and don't suppose I ever will again. They are funky, high wooden platformed retro style sandals with a 4 inch heel. I'm 5'10 in them and I feel sooo good, though walking in them takes a bit of getting used to lol!!
You see, I love elegant things, I admire them from afar, or touch them in shops, where I can't afford to really step into lol. I like good design and the smell of leather and well, I could go on but it really would be bordering on the obsessive and that isn't good lol.
I joke in the chatrooms about my love of shoes and it's a sort of icebreaker, and sometimes it is good to be light and airy instead of serious, which I can be too. Life is for living, making the most of every day and seeing good in everything, well trying to lol.
If you have a tale of a pair of shoes you love, share it please, would love to hear it.

I just thought I would say something that is on my mind.
Why oh why do people judge others on blogs?. Who are they to pass judgement on anyone? It's just something that I have noticed with dismay. They need to take the plank out of their own eye first. Here endeth my one and only sermon ...lol

Talk about being blessed!!

I just want to say how blessed I feel lately. Wow, God is so brill!! My son is home from his surgery and is doing so well. He will be back next week for more surgery but I have to praise God for all that He is doing in my life. My faith has grown so much and I feel that I am walking in His will now and the peace I feel for doing so is tremendous!
I just wanted to encourage others, when you are feeling low or down or finding life difficult, rest in Him, read His Word, immerse yourself in God, He is the answer and He promises us that He will not give us a burden that we can not bear. Leave your burdens at the foot of the cross, and rest in Him.
I know that there will be some who just don't feel they have the strength to deal with things, oh boy, have I been there...but I finally understand that God is the answer to everything, just totally trust in Him and even through great difficulties, He will take your pain and sorrow and lift you up in the palm of His hand and embrace you and let you know that you are not alone, that He loves you unconditionally. How amazing is that??

I've just managed to come home for an hour or so, I've been at the hospital since Tuesday. My son had his op on wednesday and is doing very well, He is still in intensive care but is due to go back onto the ward later today. The operation lasted 7 hours.
He has to have another operation next week, another long one but praise God that he has got through this one well, I felt so peaceful when he was having the operation, I had faith that God was covering us all.
I have to go back to the hospital now and just want to say, thank you BCer's for your prayers and support, It has helped us to get through this. Prayer is so powerful...God is good!!!
