Well, I survived Christmas day and I enjoyed it. It's quite a shock actually, for the week preceding Christmas day I was ill, dreading having to wrap presents and make dinner but God is good, I was able to have a wonderful Christmas day with my boys, peaceful, quiet and lovely. How was your Christmas day?

Santa will soon be here you know! I have a tree to dress, decorations to put up, presents to wrap and all before December 25th!! Yikes, not sure I will do it all!
I have a few parties this weekend, for me and the boys, then church and choir practice and on monday I want a day to unwind, to go out walking, to take stock and meditate on what this season is really about, which is the birth of Jesus Christ.
There is no better place to do that than in God's beautiful outdoors. To walk on the frosty moors, to breath in the fragrant air , the pine trees and drink hot chocolate from a thermos. I am fortunate indeed..........
Here are the lyrics to a song I wrote a few years back, telling the Christmas story.......
Here's born a King, He shares a stable with the lowest of creatures Their warm breath, it comforts Him as He lays in the straw Such a precious child, born to save humanity He is Christ The King, no one can deny This Royal being, as shepherds and worldly Kings, come from far and wide, they come to honour Him
Hallelujah, the son of God is born Hallelujah, the saviour of the world Hallelujah, the son of God is born Hallelujah, the saviour of the world
His mother watches and tends her son with the greatest of care They've travelled far, far from the clutches of the evil one None would take them in, they were turned from every door No room at the Inn, every room was spoken for Until an inn keeper let them rest in his stable They waited for the birth, of the one they called God's son
Hallelujah, the son of God is born Hallelujah, the savior of the world Hallelujah, the son of God is born Hallelujah, the saviour of the World
God blessings to you all
