| OH THOSE WONDERFUL KIDS |
Apr 30, 2007 1:15 am Mood: perky, 240 Views | Saturday night at my church, the Wind and Fire Ministry (that's the one that is running our new regional prayer center) had the final night of it's Glory Road VI Conference.
Keith Miller a renown faith healer, was the guest speaker. There must have been close to 300 people who came to this event, but the real highlight was the youth group from Davenport Iowa that came.
On Friday night, a youth pastor from I think is called Fellowship Center, in Davenport brought 6 teenage kids that are in his church. These kids brought 11 of their friends with them for the Saturday night service.
The 17 kids from Davenport sat up front with the other youth's that usually attend the Wind and Fire services, and boy, what a lively time everyone had. Those spiritually charged teenage kids took over the whole front section. Words simply can not describe how inspirational it was to see so many young people so on fire for God.
Some of those kids had physical impairments they were instantly healed of. One of them was all crippled up and was using a walker, but he got up and started dancing, leaving it behind. I don't know what all else any of them had, but I was among the men who was catching them as they fell when they were prayed over, and they were dropping like flys.
I have a badly chipped tooth which I've not had the money to take care of yet that had been so painful that I couldn't sleep at night. Keith Miller called it out and the pain vanished and hasn't been back since. A woman in my Sunday school class had been having hip problems until Keith prayed over her had her jumping, and crying.
There was a lot of crying going on for the deliverance's that was happening, but for me it was more watching them kids from Davenport. Some of them had just got saved and minutes later were praying for someone else. I can't honestly say I've seen anything like it before, and that was Saturday night.
Mat 18:10 See that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, that in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven.
Mat 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer the little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for to such belongeth the kingdom of heaven.

| Martyr's in Turkey |
Apr 27, 2007 11:18 am Mood: shocked, 317 Views | Prayer Alert For the Nation of Turkey
On April 18, in a gruesome assault against Turkey's tiny Christian community, five young Muslim Turks entered a Christian publishing office in the southeastern province of Malatya. They then tortured and slit the throats of the three Christians present.
The following is from a believer in Israel, Asher Intrater. It is graphic, so beware. Indeed, the nation of Turkey is truly at a crossroads. Let us, therefore, pray with vision that the terrible deaths suffered by these Christians would result in the spread of the gospel to the people of Turkey.
Turkish Martyrdom by Asher Intrater
Last week we reported on the murder on Wednesday, April 18 of three Christian evangelists in the east Turkey city of Malatya (46 year old German missionary and father of three, Tilman Geske; 35 year old ex-Muslim, pastor of the local church, and father of two Necati Aydin; and Ugur Yudsel, a younger, ex-Muslim, already engaged to be married).
The young Muslims who performed the murder were university students, all 19 years old (this was planned on purpose, as Turkish criminal law prevents harsh punishment for minors under 20).
The details of the murder are grotesque, reported as follows:
The boys tied Ugur, Necati, and Tilman’s hands and feet to chairs and as they videoed their work on cell phones, they tortured them for almost three hours.
Tilman was stabbed 156 times, Necati 99 times, and Ugur’s stabs were too numerous to count. They were disemboweled, and their intestines sliced up in front of their eyes. They were emasculated and watched as those body parts were destroyed. Fingers were chopped off, and their noses and mouths and anuses were sliced open.
When the police finally broke in, they found that Tilman and Necati had been slaughtered, practically decapitated with their necks slit from ear to ear. Ugur’s throat was likewise slit and he was barely alive (dying shortly thereafter).
Over 500 hundred Christians showed up from all over Turkey to attend Necati's funeral in Izmir (including our friend and coworker MN, who carried with him donations for Necati's widow Semse, from Messianic believers in Israel). There are only a few thousand evangelical Christians in Turkey, a Muslim country numbering over 70 million people.
The front pages of all the largest newspapers in Turkey carried an interview with Susanne (Tilman's widow), saying "God forgive them for they know not what they do" (Luke 23:34). In a nation where blood revenge is a normal part of the culture, Suzanne's statement of forgiveness came as a shock to many. One newspaper columnist wrote: “She said in one sentence what 1000 missionaries in 1000 years could never do.”
The funeral was covered by all five of the major Turkish television news networks (as well as being filmed by the Turkish secret police). In a powerful message, Ishan Ozturk, head of the Protestant Churches in Turkey proclaimed, "For me, to live is Christ and to die is gain" (Philippians 1:23).
At the price of the blood of these martyrs and by the risking of the lives of the local Turkish Christians, the gospel has touched an entire Muslim nation in an unprecedented way. At the very time this speech was being given, the Holy Spirit fell upon our fellowship in Jerusalem, with Jewish believers falling to the ground, weeping in prayer, crying out for the salvation of the Turkish people.
Let us continue in faith and prayer at this turning point in the history of the Turkish nation. As it is said, "The blood of the martyrs is the seed of the gospel."
Asher Intrater is a highly respected voice in Israel and beyond. He is also a Jewish believer in Jesus, the Messiah.
Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

| NOBODY ON BC FROM IOWA KILLED |
Apr 24, 2007 8:03 am Mood: indifferent, 433 Views | Yesterday (Mon. Apr. 23rd) I received an alarming text message from one of my BC friends asking about a Des Moines Iowa woman who was recently killed in a carjacking, possibly by someone she met here on B.C. Rumors have it that the victim was Unshakable.
Having throughly searched local news sources, I find no such story, and in a state where someone's tractor breaking down makes the papers, something like this should be headlines.
I have found a story of a woman alledgedly killed by her live in boyfriend. A man she met through her place of employment. She was stabbed, and taken to a wooded area where her body was found. I don't think this was Unshakeable. I'll paste the newspaper article here in my blog.
IOWA NEWS Roommate faces charges in D.M. woman's death
DES MOINES — The roommate of a woman whose body was found in a wooded area in the city’s north side has been charged with the slaying, police said. Isaac Martinez-Zepada, 25, of Des Moines, is charged with killing Gabriela PerezRamirez, 37, during an altercation at their work on Thursday. Martinez-Zepada and PerezRamirez worked together as janitors in West Des Moines. Police said that after PerezRamirez was killed, MartinezZepada drove her body to the area where it was found on Saturday. Police said the couple were in a relationship and living together. Perez-Ramirez’s body was found with stab wounds and blunt trauma, police said. No cause of death was immediately determined.

| Powerful & Moving Production |
Apr 8, 2007 9:58 pm Mood: ecstatic, 302 Views | | I just attended 'The Passion Play,' put on by a local Assemblies of God church. There were at least 9 showings over the last 10 days and every one of them sold out for a sancturary that can hold over 1,200 people.
The play was way beyond fantastic. Far more moving then any other production I can ever remember attending. The stage set was very elaberate, and very well planned. There was no intermission, or any kind of stopping to change sets. It was done sooo smoothly. After an act that would use most of the main stage with the full cast, the main stage would darken, and the next scene would be on one of the sides while the set is being set up for it’s next main stage scene. Some parts were pre-filmed and projected onto a screen which made it look very much like the actors were perfoming live, and a couple other places which looked like a wall or building, could be lit from inside and reveal a room for that scene. A few more scenes were also on one side or the other, again making main stage or other areas darkened and quickly changed.
I really liked the plot. Unlike other Easter productions that simply tell the story of the end of Jesus’s ministry, this one is a story within a story, set many years later, when the Apostile Paul and Silas were moving the Word in Philippi. Opening with the story of the slave girl who had a spirit of divination, followed by Paul and Silas being drug into the marketplace before the rulers, and thrown in prison. While in prison, Paul and Silas evangelize to a couple fellow prisoners. This becomes the back drop for the story of Jesus’s ministry being shown in flashback fashion.
It hit on only some of the incidents, but the one’s that were selected were particularly powerful. Many of the scenes overflowed out to the audience and the asiles, which added dimension. The play actors sure made it seem real too. I wondered about the part where Jesus was crucified. He literally was suspended on a prop made cross, and how they did that without hurting the actor is beyond me, but there wasn’t a dry eye in the place. During the part of the Resurrection, there were some very good special effects including fireworks which was so moving that it was would have been drowned out by the cheering, except the setup people must have anticipated and made the event loud enough to compensate.
Just before the final scene, the senior pastor came out and announced there would be an alter call for salvation as soon as the play concluded. I'll bet at least a hundred people went down for it, and this last showing was the smallest. Makes me wonder what the rest of the alter calls must have been like. |

Let it be said of us while we walked among the living let it be said of us by the ones we leave behind let it be said of us that we lived to be a blessing for life
let it be said of us that we gave to reach the dying let it be said of us by the fruit we leave behind let it be said of us that our legacy is blessing for life

let it be said of us that our hearts belonged to Jesus let it be said of us that we spoke the words of life let it be said of us that our heritage is blessing for life

| The Real Jesus |
Mar 22, 2007 12:13 pm Mood: calm, 387 Views | | The Real Jesus By Francis Fragipane
Not only is Jesus our Savior, He is also the “author and perfecter of our faith” (Hebrews 12:2, NIV). Grab with both hands the thought that He is the “perfecter of our faith.” The faith Christ started in you, He is now working to perfect.
The fact that Jesus is the “perfecter of our faith” is important because even if we seek to move in prayer and spiritual authority, even if we fearlessly continue to persevere, even if we continue forward with motives purified by love, it is the power of faith that undergirds all.
Now the idea that Christ seeks to perfect our faith makes a fine doctrine, but in the practical outworking of our lives, we deeply resist the idea. For we know that faith, in order be perfected, must be tested.
When I speak of faith, I do not mean a thorough compilation of Bible facts or an intellectual assent to our need of salvation, both of which are elements of spirituality but not the very substance. To amass biblical knowledge primarily takes time; to possess true saving faith, I will tell you again, takes courage. Christ desires we obtain a trust in Him that can actually withstand and overcome the terrible storms of life - faith that brings the reality of heaven to earth.
Faith, therefore, is more than head knowledge; it is our lock upon the goodness and power of God so that no matter what we face outwardly, inwardly we stand secure. And no matter what the world looks like outwardly, it has the potential to be transformed by our faith. As Hebrews 11 makes clear, all those who possessed true faith changed the world around them.
Perfect or Protect? Knowing that faith is much more than religious doctrines, I wonder: Do we truly know the Jesus of the Bible and what He seeks to give us? Too often, I think, we desire a Savior who, after assuring us of eternal life, leaves us alone until our next crisis. We want Him to comfort us but never convict us; we desire Him to heal us but not inhabit us. We want the Holy Spirit to help us obtain the “American dream.” Yet what we have is a Holy Spirit who, instead, seeks to give us the dream of God: man living in the image of Christ (see Genesis 1:26).
This means that God’s goal is not merely to save us, but to conform us to Christ. He seeks to perfect us, not merely protect us. To perfect faith, God intentionally allows conflicts to storm against our souls. I know we picture Jesus as gently holding us, patting us on the back, saying, “There, there, it’ll be all right.” Listen, that is not the voice of Jesus; that is the echo of your mother speaking. Thank God for mothers, but Jesus is seeking to get us to stop being such babies. He wants us to grow up into His image.
Remember, I am talking about the real Jesus now, the one who said, “All things are possible to him who believes” (Mark 9:23). If the Jesus you are following is not leading you into the realm of the impossible to make changes in your world, you are probably following the wrong one.
You see, we do a disservice to people when we tell them, “Give your life to the Lord and He will keep you from trouble.” That is not true. We would be more honest to say, “Give your life to Christ, and He will empower you to overcome trouble and adversity.” Yes, He will take care of you. But He will not do so by putting you in a harmless world void of problems; rather, He will perfect virtue in you by developing character and by requiring faith - all of which creates the spiritual shelter of a transformed life.
A Storm, a Ghost or Jesus? Get used to the idea that Jesus is seeking to perfect your faith. Plan on the fact that He will probably set you in some otherwise impossible situation to force your faith to the surface. Sooner or later, the real Jesus will require you to look the impossible straight in the eye and believe God for His power.
Consider the incident when Christ sends His disciples ahead of Him by boat across the Sea of Galilee; that night He crosses this same sea Himself walking on water (see Matthew 14:22 - 33). Yet, He decides to wait until a storm is |

| ACCUSER OF THE BRETHERN !! |
Mar 12, 2007 5:29 am Mood: angry, 600 Views | Okay everyone, Enough is enough!! Our online community is being attacked by a covert, sinister, malicious evil spirit the Bible calls "Accuser of the Brethren!"
Rev 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
Accuser of the Brethren is a demon. It is real, it influences fellow Christian believers and recently it is hitting us hard. So what exactly is Accuser of the Brethren?
It is a demon that uses religiousness as a means to divide the body of Christ. It is most effectively used to slander spiritual leadership, and create strife over doctrinal issues.
Does that sound a little like what's been going on here? How about a blog where a spiritual leader named Joel Olsteen is being discredited? What about blogs identifying the 7th Day Adventists as a cult?
What doctrinal differences somebody thinks they have with this leader Joel Olsteen is being handled Un-Biblically, with malice and evil. Spiritual leaders are to be respected,
1Ti 5:17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. Rom 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Rom 13:2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
Contrary to popular opinion and what NIV says, this is NOT in reference to civil leadership, but spiritual leadership. If it was civil leaders then those places that forbid preaching the Word would HAVE to be honored as the Bible says.
Spiritual leaders should NEVER ever publicly and openly criticized. Even if the doctrine is wrong, it is not for us to judge. The Bible says how to handle that as well.
1Ti 5:1 Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father;
Mat 18:15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. Mat 18:16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
Has those who think Pastor Olsteen is wrong bothered to contact him personally? Have they prayed for him to repent of wrong doctrine? I think not, but instead has made a point to announce his alleged shortcomings to the church. This should not be tolerated by any of us. When we see it we need to impress upon that brother or sister that the matter is being handled wrongly, and by doing so makes them more guilty then the leader they have accused.
Rom 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. Rom 16:18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
I don't wish to debate this issue. The Word of God addresses it quite clearly. Those who are making accusations against spiritual leaders need to stop doing so right now, and repent of the sin. Then, pray for the leader who is believed to have fallen.
The other means by which the demon, "Accuser of the Brethren," works is by causing division in the body over doctrinal issues. I see today several blogs accusing the 7th Day Adventists of being a cult. We use doctrines such as the trinity, or what day is the Sabbath to justify our positions. You know what? Every one of you who want to accuse a group that believes differently then you do are outright hypocrites.
Your very own doctrines can be just as easily dismantled by using the Bible as those you attack. Those who think they are more spiritual then the church down the street, or that believes something other then they do, are self-righteous and only fooling themselves. Worst of all they are letting the devil deceive them into leading the body of Christ into divisions.
So what if somebody thinks the Sabbath should be a particular day? and so what if someone thinks that someone else is denying the deity of Christ?
That is not your problem, but theirs.
Rom 14:1 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
Rom 14:4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. Rom 14:5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
Mat 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. Mat 7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
Boy, I would not want to be in the position on judgment day that some of you are putting yourselves in. If you think somebody or some group is wrong, pray for them, and if they don't repent, it's not your problem but their's.
Again, I don't want to debate this issue and I won't. The Word of God has been given. You can heed to it, or ignore it. Either way I'll be praying for you that you don't have to stand judgment over the way you have judged.
And as fair warning, I will without hesitation ban anyone from my blog who wants to argue.
And don't even try to give me the bunk about exposing sin. That is another issue entirely.
Finally, I would ask those who have made blogs with accusations against the Brethern to please delete your accusing blogs, and pray for those you believe are not walking correctly. Which includes even me. Especially me. God Bless you All.

| I WAS WRONG!! SO WHAT IS WIND AND FIRE! |
Mar 9, 2007 9:54 am Mood: restless, 562 Views | | Over recent months I have written of and referred to a church group known as Wind and Fire which was constructing their own church building, and holding services at my church on Saturday nights meanwhile. Well I was wrong concerning what Wind and Fire is all about.
Wind and Fire is NOT a church, but a prayer ministry. Any, and all believers anywhere, and everywhere can be part of Wind and Fire because it is not affiliated with any church, it is affiliated with ALL of them.
The seeds of what is now Wind and Fire started over 30 years ago, when Francis Frangipane, Senior Pastor of River of Life and a few Penticostal pastors, began meeting amongst themselves and praying together for spiritual revival in America.
These pastors who were meeting started discussing crossing denomenational lines and begin corporate prayer relationships with other denomenations. It was decided that the best way to start would be to establish a dialoge with the single most opposite denonenation to the Penticostials. That being the Baptists. But none of them knew any of the Baptist preachers, so it was prayed about and everyone went their way.
A few days later Pastor Francis was seeking to purchase a 2nd hand computer for his studies, and he bought it from a Baptist Preacher.
Now some of local Baptist preachers, and other mainstream ministers, had been meeting as well, about joint prayer with other churches, and had decided that if this was of God, then he had to get the Penticostals to sit down with Baptists for joint prayer sessions.
Well it happened, and continued to happen. Then they begain to bring in more ministers, and pastors. The sessions got bigger yet with involving local government officials, especially our city council. City wide Prayer was born.
Eventually a corporation was formed based on the church leaders prayer group. The corporation was dubbed 'Wind and Fire.' Wind representing the Charismatic aspect of receiving the holy spirit. Fire is more mainstream, and long known from the Old Testiment as the means by which God accepted offerings.
The point man Ric Lumbard I previously identified as a Charismatic pastor, is NOT a pastor, but a prayer warrior.
Wind and Fire worship services are called EGS (Encountering God Sessions) are held Saturday nights, to allow anyone to come, because it doesn't compete with anyone's Sunday services.
The EGS services themselves were supposed to be totally non-denomational with something for everyone. However because of low attendence by mainstreamers, ECS services have an unmistakeable Charismatic flare to them, with raising hands, dancing in place, waving big flags, and blowing horns. Now if someone wants to bring an organ and chimes and do a traditional type hymm, yeah we can do that too, but we won't do only that.
When the nearly completed regional 24/7 Prayer Center is done, EGS services will be hosted there. Look for this to become big news in days to come for showing church unity within a city. |

| A Time to Seek God |
Mar 9, 2007 1:22 am Mood: sleepy, 586 Views | A Time to Seek God by Francis Frangipane
Dear Follower of Jesus Christ,
We have had a great many inquiries from churches and serious Christians from all over the world, all desiring greater conformity to Jesus Christ. Our vision is to see a worldwide movement begin, where hundreds of thousands of Christians are no longer intimidated by evil, but rather are empowered by Christlike character to stand before God for their cities and nations. Beloved, we know that every time the Father sees His Son manifest upon the earth, His heart is "well-pleased." Thus, we are fully convinced that, if we truly reveal Jesus, we too will awaken the pleasure of God, and when God's pleasure is stirred, His redemptive power soon follows.
In Christ's Image Training begins with Level I, where the goal is to remove the trappings and misdirection of mere religion and simplify the vision of attaining Christlikeness.
Level I Training Equips students, intercessors, ministry leaders, future pastors, pastors and churches for effectual, Christlike living. Level I is 6 months of training.
Track I: Christlikeness (6 sessions, 12 chapters, 11 messages on tapes or CDs) Track II: Humility (6 sessions, 12 chapters, 11 messages on tapes or CDs) Track III: Prayer (6 sessions, 10 chapters, 8 messages on tape or CDs) Track IV: Unity (6 sessions, 10 chapters, 9 messages on tapes or CDs)
My own notes: These are the classes I've been taking and raving about since the beginning of January. I just started Track IV: Unity.
There's more in his article this week, but it included price information which might attract the censors to think this is an advertizement. For what I'm getting out of these classes, and knowing now, if I were elsewhere in the country and had to pay for them by internet corrispondence, I would because they are very worth it.
If you are interested in learning more, you will have to do and internet search under either Francis Frangipane, or River of Life, since this site won't allow internet addresses to be published.
If you want more confirmation from other known bloggers about Pastor Francis, or River of Life, I know beyond doubt that Marilyn, (Spiritfilled) and Barb (Spiritwoman) can verify the validity.
If you don't know me well enough to know how much it has changed me, I will put on the spot some of those who do know what these ICIT classes are doing for me. I've not asked their permisson, so this is a dry run, but you can ask Fullofjoyeternal, (Sharyl), or Freedom Ryder, (Annette), or Overcaffenated, (Corrie.)
Others including heartforedjehu,(Rhonda,) and her husband edjehu (Ed) are familiar with these works and ministry as well.
Others yet who can see how I have changed, may come forward as they feel inspirired can comment, I won't delete anything, even if Dennis comes in here with his poison, and 'Accuser of the Brethern spirit.'
The books by Francis Frangipane are worth reading and his classes are worth taking, At any price.
