TRUST!

It is such a profound word! It goes beyond our words...It involves our emotion...our whole being!
The dictionary defines it as a firm belief or confidence in the honesty, integrity, reliability, justice, etc. of another person or thing; faith; reliance.
Yet so many of us failed in this area! We failed to trust you completely and relied so much upon ourselves to fix things...to make things better and to find fulfillment and satisfaction to our emptiness from other sources, instead of trusting You! As a result, we have broken our promises...our vows...our committment...our words to love, protect, cherish, honor and to be faithful not only to You but toward each other.
How can a person learn to trust again after being betrayed and hurt so many times?
Thank you Lord Jesus that we can gain back the trust we lost because of WHO YOU ARE! YOU ARE THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY AND FOREVER (Heb.12:
Ps. 56:11--In God I have put my trust, I shall not be afraid what can man do to me?
Ps. 56:12--Your vows are binding upon me, O God; I will render thank offerings to You.
Isaih 26:3,4--The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, Because he trusts in You. Trust in the LORD forever, for in GOD the LORD, we have an everlasting Rock.
Jeremiah 17:5-8--Thus says the LORD, Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind; and makes flesh his strength, And whose heart turns away from the Lord. For he will be like a bush in the desert And will not see when prosperity comes, But will live in stony wastes in the wilderness, a land of salt without inhabitant. BLESSED IS THE MAN WHO TRUSTS IN THE LORD AND WHOSE TRUST IS THE LORD. FOR HE WILL BE LIKE A TREE PLANTED BY THE WATER THAT EXTENDS ITS ROOTS BY A STREAM, AND WILL NOT FEAR WHEN THE HEAT COMES; BUT ITS LEAVES WILL BE GREEN, AND IT WILL NOT BE ANXIOUS IN A YEAR OF DROUGHT NOR CEASE TO YIELD ITS FRUIT.
Dear Lord develop in me a TRUST/FAITH in YOU that could not be shaken nor weakened, nor compromised, nor be questioned amidst the adversity of life! Help me to stand firm when being challenged to compromise...to give up and to quit... Strengthen my faith when adversity comes that I may proclaim your FAITHFULNESS, YOUR GOODNESS AND YOUR LOVINGKINDNESS to others.
JESUS , BE THE FOCUSED OF MY HEART, MY MIND, MY SOUL AND MY STRENGTH........

that fuels our pursuit of His presence as the
central focus of our lives.
