Most of you are going through the same or similar trials and tribulations as I am though your stories may be a little different we are all still in the same boat. My prayer is that my little bit of heaven will make your little bit of heaven just a little bit better. May the Lord richly bless you all, cheers.

How to write a love letter: A Few Tips From Dr. Watson Apr 29, 2008 6:38 pm
240 Views
Learning how to write a love letter isn't difficult. Once you gather your thoughts and follow these simple steps to express the way you feel in a love letter you'll know how to do it.

Why Write a Love Letter?

It's easy to get confused when trying to express how you feel to someone you love. Just being in the same room with the object of your affections can make you feel a little muddled. Sitting down and writing a letter in private, however, gives you time to get in touch with your deepest feelings and then decide which words will best express them. You may reach a clarity of thought by the time you finish the letter that you didn't have when you started and which you probably wouldn't have reached trying to express yourself in person.

Tips:

Be in a good mood when writing a love letter.
Never try to write a love letter when you're in a bad mood, not only will it be more difficult to write but your bad vibes will make their way into the letter.

Write a love letter anytime.
Don't wait for a special occasion to write one. Anytime you want to spice up your relationship is a great time for a love letter.

Your love letter should look appealing.
Fountain pens look nicer than ball point pens. Plain paper is fine, but try to choose a better grade of paper stay away from lined paper or paper with lots of designs printed on it.

Think about why you're writing.
Do you want to say you had a good time, are you asking for a date, are you expressing your affection, do you want to know how they feel about you or do you want to say I miss you?

Always hand write your love letter even if your writing is sloppy.
Never type it unless your handwriting is truly illegible. Don't underline or write any words in all caps; it's like yelling.

Only say what you really mean.
Don't make promises you can't keep and don't write anything you may regret later. Once the letter leaves your hands there is no guarantee it will stay private.

A one page love letter is great.
Love letters aren't meant to be long. As you get more comfortable, your letters may get a little longer but don't write a book.

If you're writing an erotic lover letter, talk about yourself as well.

Re-read your love letter to make sure it says what you mean. You may want to write a rough draft first.

Use a thesaurus to find unique words for your love letter, such as:

*Openers: Dear, Dearest, My Love, Dearest Love, My Beloved, My Sweetheart, My Darling, My Sweet, Darling

*Middle: cherish, idolize, embrace, hold dear, adore, caress, desire, fondle, fascinate, passion, smitten, enchanted, captivated, treasure, stroking, touch, infatuated, precious

*Endings: yours sincerely, with love, all my love, truly yours, love, till we meet again, your new friend

Important notes:
1. Clear your desk and your mind of distractions. If you love someone enough to craft this letter, he or she deserves your full attention.

2. Place a picture of the one you love in front of you.

3. Put on your favorite music.

4. Take out your best letter writing stationery and pen.

5. In the following paragraph of your love letter, share your hopes and dreams for the future you can have together.

6. Don't forget to sign your love letter!

7. Spray the love letter with a light fragrance.

A Few Thoughts To Share Apr 29, 2008 2:40 pm

Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

A sharp tongue can cut my own throat.

If I want my dreams to come true, I mustn't oversleep.

Of all the things I wear, my expression is the most important.

The best vitamin for making friends. B1.

The happiness of my life depends on the quality of my thoughts.

The heaviest thing I can carry is a grudge.

One thing I can give and still keep is my word.

I lie the loudest when I lie to myself.

If I lack the courage to start, I have already finished.

One thing I can't recycle is wasted time.

Ideas won't work unless 'I' do.

My mind is like a parachute, it functions only when open.

The 10 commandments are not a multiple choice.

The pursuit of happiness is the chase of a lifetime! It is never too late to become what I might have been.

Friends are like balloons; once you let them go, you might not get them back.

Who Is Your Daddy? Apr 29, 2008 2:24 pm

When someone puts in for Child Support, the proper thing to do is to find out who the father is and see why he is not providing support.
The following are all replies that women have written on Child Support Agency forms. In the section for listing father's details. These are genuine excerpts from the forms.

Regarding the identity of the father of my twins, child A was fathered by Jim Munson.
I am unsure as to the identity of the father of
Child B, but I believe that he was conceived on
the same night.

I am unsure as to the identity of the father of my child as I was being sick out of a window when taken unexpectedly from behind. I can provide you with a list of names of men
that I think were at the party if this helps.

I do not know the name of the father of my
little girl. She was conceived at a party at
3600 Grand Avenue where I had unprotected sex
with a man I met that night. I do remember that
the sex was so good that I fainted. If you do
manage to track down the father, can you send
me his phone number? Thanks.

I don't know the identity of the father of
my daughter. He drives a BMW that now has a hole
made by my stiletto heels in one of the door
panels. Perhaps you can contact BMW service
stations in this area and see if he's had it replaced.

I have never had sex with a man. I am still a Virginian. I am awaiting a letter from the Pope confirming that my son's conception was immaculate and that he is Christ risen again.

I cannot tell you the name of child A's dad as he informs me that to do so would blow his cover and that would have cataclysmic implications
for the economy. I am torn between doing right by you and right by the country. Please advise.

Peter Smith is the father of child A. If you do catch up with him, can you ask him what he did with my AC/DC CDs? Child B who was also borned at the same time. Well I don't have a clue.

From the dates it seems that my daughter was
conceived at Disney World; maybe it really is the Magic Kingdom.

So much about that night is a blur. The only thing that I remember for sure is Delia Smith did a program about eggs earlier in the evening.
If I'd have stayed in and watched more TV rather than going to the party at 146 Miller Drive, mine might have remained unfertilized.

I am unsure as to the identity of the father of my baby, after all when you eat a can of beans you can't be sure which one made you fart.

Yep, you guessed it right. We are all paying taxes to support these dim bulbs. Is this a great country or what.

The U In JESUS Apr 29, 2008 6:12 am

Before U were thought of or time had begun,
God stuck U in the name of His Son.

And each time U pray, you'll see it's true,
You can't spell out JesUs and not include U.

You're a pretty big part of His wonderful name,
For U, He was born; that's why He came.

And His great love for U is the reason He died.
It even takes U to spell crUcified.

Isn't it thrilling and splendidly grand
He rose from the dead, with U in His plan?

The stones split away, the gold trUmpet blew,
and this word resUrrection is spelled with a U.

When JesUs left earth at His upward ascension,
He felt there was one thing He just had to mention.

'Go into the world and tell them it's true
That I love them all - Just like I love U.'

So many great people are spelled with a U,
Don't they have a right to know JesUs too?

It all depends now on what U will do,
He'd like them to know,
But it all starts with U.

Good morning, how are you doing at the beginning of this lovely week? I feel like I am at least among the living again, hahahaha. Still resting a lot but at least working part time again. I am still taking a lot of medication but like I said I am up and about more then I have been for a few weeks.
The first week was spring break week so thank goodness for that as I was not required to work at all. I spent the first part in the hospital and the last part in my own bed. Thanks again for the prayers I really appreciate it.
On the good side, little Billy turns 4 months this week. He goes in for his next set of shots on Friday so Charie does not like to hold him when he gets the shots so that is my department.
He has such a beautiful smile and getting bigger every day. I think he is at about 17 pounds now but will find out exactly on Friday. Charie is feeding him rice and oatmeal now as the child has a bottomless pit for a stomach. Every time I see the child he has something in his mouth, hahahaha, thank God for that appetite.
We had a meeting at school for Skye and her progress before she starts kindergarden next year and she is doing well. She still needs to work on her sounds and shapes but will continue to practice with her.
Shane is doing well in school as well all A's and B's so that is all I can ask of him. I wish I was younger to keep up with him, hahahah, but I do the best I can do so that is all that can be expected of any of us.
Charie is doing well in school as well she just started at the beginning of the month and still trying to get back to her pre pregnancy weight. She worries about that stuff more then I do but she is doing great shuffleing everything around and keeping the house in order.
I pray that you have a great week, cheers.

Decisions That Count: Apr 28, 2008 5:34 am

“Abram dwelt in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelt in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent toward Sodom.” Gen. 13:12

Abraham and Lot, two men of one family, came to a parting of the ways because there was strife among their herdsmen. Each made his own choice, and it is recorded that Lot chose to move onto the plains around Sodom, while Abraham moved his tents in the opposite direction and dwelt by the oaks of Mamre, near Hebron. It was at this very point that the direction of their souls was determined. One became a part of the most wicked city of his day. The other built an altar to the Lord and went down in Christendom as the patriarch of God’s children.
Nearer to our day there is the account of Charles Kingsley. He was high strung, hot tempered, and full of fiery emotions. One of his contemporaries said of him, “He never speaks, he screams. If he tells you it is five o’clock, he says it in such a way that you imagine it is the crack of doom.” When Kingsley was still young he passed through a period of terrible doubt. He could not pray; he could not believe; he was bitter and morose.
Then came the great decision. The date was June 12, 1841. In his diary he wrote these words: “My birth night, I have been for the last hour on the seashore, not dreaming but thinking deeply and strongly and forming determinations which are to affect me through time and through eternity. Before the sleeping earth and the sleepless seas and stars I have devoted myself to God, a vow never to be recalled.”
That night, while looking out over the billowy ocean, Charles Kingsley made a decision. And ever after that each book he wrote and every sermon he preached reflected the decision he made. That is why he became one of England’s great preachers and inspiring writers.
Right now you and I may stand at the same place Abraham and Lot stood long ago. May God grant us the power to choose the way of goodness and complete surrender to Him—always.
