My Little Bit of Heaven
  
Most of you are going through the same or similar trials and tribulations as I am though your stories may be a little different we are all still in the same boat. My prayer is that my little bit of heaven will make your little bit of heaven just a little bit better. May the Lord richly bless you all, cheers.

The preacher placed two identical jars on the table next to the pulpit. He quoted 1 Samuel 16 The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.
“These jars came from the same factory, were made of the same materials, and can hold the same amount. But they are different,” he explained.
Then he upset one and it oozed out honey. He turned over the other, and vinegar spilled out. “When a jar is upset, whatever is in it comes out. Until the jars were upset, they looked alike. The difference was within and could not be seen. When they were upset, their contents were revealed.
Until we are upset, we put on a good front. But when we are upset, we reveal our innermost thoughts and attitudes, “for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.” Luke 6:45
What if someone tipped you over today? What would flow out??
Would you reveal the “honey” of grace and patience? Or the “vinegar” of anger and criticism? “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.” 1 Peter 4:8
Have a terrific day knowing that the one who upsets you may be just looking to see what is going to flow out of you as well as you find out yourself.

"It shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be
seen in the cloud." (Genesis 9:14)

"If happy little bluebirds fly beyond the rainbow, why, oh why, can't I?"

Sound familiar? Of course it does. We all have watched and heard Judy Garland as "Dorothy" in the movie, "The Wizard of Oz" sing this song many times. If you remember what was going on in Dorothy's life at this point, you will know that Dorothy was clinging to all hope that "beyond the rainbow there was a way of getting out of her predicament.
Noah had a similar experience, only in a very different way, when God shut him and his family, along with many animals inside the ark, and caused a great flood to cover the entire earth, destroying everyone and everything that was not in the ark.
I'm sure Noah thought many times, "What is happening, and when will it all end? Is there any hope of my getting out of this predicament, and having something good come from all of this?"
Haven't we all felt that way at times? Does it feel like a tornado has grabbed you and flung you into a world that is not familiar at all? Do you feel at times you are shut inside an ark of sorts, and the water is rising higher and higher around you, and there is no end I don't have to remind you that God promised Noah, with a rainbow, that He would never again send a
flood that would "destroy all flesh." And, Dorothy did get back to her familiar surroundings "somewhere over the rainbow."

Beloved friends, God promises us that, even though "in this world there will be tribulations," He has made a way of escape, eventually. He has a rainbow in sight for all of us. If we keep our eyes focused on Jesus, and what He did for us so we could have eternal life, someday we will be
completely free of pain, trials, confusion, uncertainty, and all that this world dumps on us. Our only hope is to remember ALL of God's promises. "He will never leave us nor forsake us." And, He does have a life waiting for us that is so awesome that we can't even begin to imagine, "somewhere over
the rainbow!"

R : Can you install LOVE?

C : I can do that. I'm not very technical, but I think I am ready to install now. What do I do first?

R : The first step is to open your HEART. Have you located your HEART ma'am?

C : Yes I have, but there are several programs running right now.Is it okay to install while they are running?

R : What programs are running ma'am?

C : Let me see....I have PASTHURTEXE, LOWESTEEMEXE, GRUDGEEXE, and RESENTMENTCOM running right now.

R : No problem. LOVE will automatically erase PASTHURTEXE from your current operating system. It may remain in your permanent memory, but it will no longer disrupt other programs. LOVE will eventually overwrite LOWESTEEMEXE with a module of its own called HIGHESTEEMEXE. However, you have to completely turn off GRUDGEEXE and RESENTMENTCOM Those programs prevent LOVE from being properly installed. Can you turn those off ma'am?

C : I don't know how to turn them off. Can you tell me how?

R : My pleasure. Go to your Start menu and invoke FORGIVENESS EXE. Do this as many times as necessary until GRUDGEEXE and RESENTMENTCOM have been completely erased.

C : Okay, I'm done. LOVE has started installing itself automatically. Is that normal?

R : Yes it is. You should receive a message that says it will reinstall for the life of your HEART. Do you see that message?

C : Yes I do. Is it completely installed?

R : Yes, but remember that you have only the base program. You need to begin connecting to other HEARTS in order to get the upgrades.

C : Oops...I have an error message already. What should I do?

R : What does the message say?

C : It says "ERROR 412 - PROGRAM NOT RUN ON INTERNAL COMPONENTS". What does that mean?

R : Don't worry ma'am, that's a common problem. It means that the LOVE program is set up to run on external HEARTS but has not yet been run on your HEART. It is one of those complicated programming things, but in non-technical terms it means you have to "LOVE" your own machine before It can "LOVE"others.

C : So what should I do?

R : Can you find the directory called "SELF-ACCEPTANCE"?

C : Yes, I have it.

R : Excellent, you are getting good at this.

C : Thank you.

R : You're welcome. Click on the following files and then copy them to the "MYHEART" directory: FORGIVESELFDOC, SELFESTEEMTXT, EALIZEWORTHTXT, and GOODNESSDOC. The system will overwrite any conflicting files and begin patching any faulty programming. Also, you need to delete SELFCRITICEXE from all directories, and then empty your recycle bin afterwards to make sure it is completely gone and never comes back.

C : Got it. Hey! My HEART is filling up with really neat files. SMILE.MPG is playing on my monitor right now and it shows that RESENTMENTCOM PEACE.EXE, and CONTENTMENT. COM are copying themselves all over my HEART!

R : Then LOVE is installed and running. You should be able to handle it from here. One more thing before I go...

C : Yes?

R : LOVE is freeware. Be sure to give it and its various modules to everybody you meet. They will in turn share it with other people and they will return some really neat modules back to you.

C : I will. Thank you for your help.
